Chapter 10: 10| TAKE ME BACK

FREMA:

I tried pulling down the hem of my dress, frowning in distaste at the much skin that showed off.

It was a rose gold strapless gown with gold cut off sequences at the sides. It stopped barely above my mid thigh and revealed too much flesh. My ass wasn't something I could hide.

I applied minimum makeup and curled my hair properly. I knew I looked amazing even without being told by anyone.

"Ready?" I heard Liam's voice from the door. I grabbed my clutch from the dresser table and answered,

"Ready."

The door opened and he entered.

"Mierda." He cussed, and I smirked. Time to go home, baby.

_

Eron stood, his back facing me as my heels clicked loudly against the marbled floor. He turned after a while and I could swear his eyes darkened as they raked painstakingly slowly over my body. I felt hot under his gaze and I also very much wanted to jump his bones right there.

Crap.

One could cut the tension with a fucking knife.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going?" His voice came out raspy. I opened my mouth to probably say something stupid but then Liam interrupted,

"She's with me."

Eron diverted his gaze to Liam. And he didn't look too happy.

"She's my fucking prisoner, Liam. Mine." He growled, his face undoubtedly stern. I frowned.

"I'm not yours, you criminal!" I yelled, my anger flaring.

"You don't get to have a choice, Princesa. Shut up." He warned, turning to Liam, "where the hell do you think you're taking her to?"

"Hernandez's party, of course. I need a date. Unlike you, girls don't just flock around me like they do you." Liam said, his stance unwavering.

"She's not going anywhere with you." Eron grounded out.

"Try to stop me," I spoke then, even if I knew he could do that if he wanted to. "Let's get out of here, Liam."

Surprisingly, he didn't stop us and minutes later, he got out of the house and took a different car for himself.

I looked over at Liam.

"So what now?" I asked.

"We have to be at the party first before we leave.. Or Eron's going to suspect something." He said and I nodded.

"Thanks again, Liam." I said and he nodded, then smirked.

"You could thank me better, you know." He said suggestively and I blushed.

Well.. A kiss couldn't hurt, could it?

"I guess I could." I replied and he turned to me, confused. I grinned then leaned in to kiss him.

It took only half a second for him to respond, molding my lips perfectly in his. Slow, steady. And as soon as the kiss began to get hotter and more touchy, I slowly withdrew and chuckled.

"Calm down, lover boy. We still have a party to attend to and you're the assigned driver. You know we can't afford to be late." I said, grinning. He smiled back.

"I'm letting you off the hook this time, Frey. But the next time you kiss me like that, you're going to have to use a wheelchair." He said and I laughed.

"Cocky much?" I asked. He shrugged, starting the engine.

"It's the truth." He then replied.

_

Getting into the buzzing hall, I could feel all eyes turn to me. Feeling self-conscious, I moved closer to Liam who smirked down at me.

Motherfucker.

"I'm going to leave you here now, Frey. I need to go greet some friends." Liam said immediately we got to a table. I nodded, even if I was more than mortified in the environment. He walked off and I let out a sigh, looking around awkwardly. Yeah, I had been to a couple of rich dinner parties but this one was the first without my family and I felt so insecure. Normally Arsen would sit with me and wad off 'the bad guys' as he called them. I shook off my thoughts as I picked up my glass and sipped a little of the drink.

"Hello beautiful," A rather scrawny voice came, making me turn to look at the unknown figure. He looked.. rather old. Like he was in his mid sixties. It irked me slightly.

"Um.. Hey." I finally replied, trying an awkward smile. He smiled back.

"I know you're probably thinking, what's this aged, almost dying fellow doing talking to me?" He said, chuckling. I couldn't help but laugh along.

"Okay yeah, you got me." I said amidst laughter. He laughed more.

"Well my name is Ian Sunsetto, and I'm a very good friend of your father." He started. I gasped.

"What the hell? I thought you were supposed to be in prison?" I asked and he grinned.

"Oh so you've heard about me," he started. Then continued, "Great, so this is going to be easy. Who's Yasmin to you?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Mom's friend? Wait, why are you asking me about your ex-wife?" I asked, confused. He smiled faintly.

"She's the reason I almost rotted in jail. But I got out for good behavior much to everyone's distaste. I'm back for her, so when you get back with that Liam boy.. If Eron doesn't find out, which there's a ninety eight percent possibility he will.. Help me deliver the message to my darling wife. Let her know her husband is back." He said, his smile sinister, brown teeth glaring.

"How- how did you find out?" I managed to ask. He smirked.

"Nothing is ever hidden under the sun. Read your Bible, my dear. Goodbye for now." He answered and then walked away.

I suddenly felt the urge to leave so I stood up and turned to go and look for Liam when my body crashed into a.. wall?

I looked up and no.. It was Eron.

"I.. Um, hey? Um.. You're kindof blocking my way.. I need to--" He cut me off harshly,

"Run away? Leave with Liam, that is." He said and I almost cried. How did he find out? How could he find out? I felt my eyes water.

"Eron, please. I miss my family. Please.. Enough of this game, I'm begging you." I cried, praying that he'd listen.

"I don't care about you anymore, Princesa. You belong here now. You're never leaving. You can never leave." He clarified and the tears flowed more freely.

"I.. Just.. Take me back to your place.. Please." I said quietly, not looking at him as I pushed past him and walked out of the party hall.

Suddenly, I just wanted to die.
