Lexus’ heartbeats, raced like horses, trying to subdue each other up to the finish line when he saw the woman who has been in his mind for so many days already. She was there watching him, with eyes that lurked her hidden longing for him, he guessed. She could feel her steady look yet her expression was unfathomable.
Unable to resist his feelings, Lexus made a few wide strides, and then he was there, embracing her so tight. How he wished for this day to come again.
Daffodil embraced him back while laughing so heartily. “You seemed to have missed me so much, Lexus?” She said grinning wide at him, teasing him. She even giggled.
Instead of replying, Lexus kissed her like there was no tomorrow. Some resort staff, who were around saw such kind of sweetest moment and mostly were giggling while others were stunned.
Lexus hugged her tight once more after that passionate kiss. “I missed you so much Daffodil. But why are you here? I told you not to return here to protect yourself,” he murmured reprimanding her.
“I missed you too Lexus, that is why I am here and I have a lot of things to tell you.” Daffodil whispered back. She then pulls Lexus’ hand going inside her garden studio room, to avoid further those staring eyes of the folks around.
“Let us get inside, people are watching us.” She said as she pulled his hand.
Lexus closed the door gently as they entered the studio unit of Daffodil. He looked at her smiling wide, his happiness was evident. “I can’t believe it that you are here again, but you are making me frightened now.” He enclosed her again in his arms while kissing her forehead.
She shook her head. “Don't be afraid. No one knows that I am here Lexus and no one knew me here.”
“You are wrong, someone already announced that you are here. It was also because of her that I found out about your arrival.” Lexus said seriously.
Furrowing, Daffodil looked at Lexus, “Who?”
“Trixie, one of the receptionists here. So, we should better hurry up before the son of our Pack’s Alpha arrived here to get you.” Lexus urgently said.
“What?”
Lexus nodded. “I am serious Sweetheart, so grab one of your bags and let us go.”
“My God, this is ridiculous!” Daffodil said as she grabbed her shoulder bag and her emergency bag where all her important documents, enough clothing, some food, a laptop, and all chargers are inside.
“Let us go then.” Daffodil said not even hesitating for a moment.
Lexus got the medium size traveling bag in her hand and then hold her hand as they got out of the unit. Daffodil made sure to lock her door before finally motioning to Lexus that they need to run now.
“Daf, we will not pass in front, we will use the narrow way at the back, it will lead us to the parking area,” Lexus stated as he guided Daffodil going to the way at the back until they reached the parking area.
“Daff let me put this on your head,” Lexus said while showing to Daffodil the full-faced helmet. After wearing the helmet to Daffodil, Lexus wore the other helmet and then he positioned himself on his Harley Davidson Motorbike.
Holding her traveling bag in between her and Lexus while she sat at the back of the motorbike, Daffodil sighed and then wrapped her right hand on Lexus' waist. “Let’s go,” she murmured thereafter.

They traveled fast for almost an hour until they reach a narrow, rough road, leading to a small, well-fenced bungalow house nearby the shore. The sole light on the premises was the light post at the main gate.
Lexus parked his motorbike beside the gate and then got some keys in his pocket. He opened the gate and motioned for her to follow while he bring inside his motorbike.
“Whose house is this Lexus?” Daffodil asked with a hint of curiosity in her voice. She looked around and was in appreciation of the simple yet cozy atmosphere therein.
“I just recently bought this secretly from a friend who needed urgent money,” Lexus answered while parking the motorbike in a shaded, small parking space beside the bungalow. He then helped Daffodil with her bag.
“Get inside Daff,” he said inviting her as he opened the main door of his house.
“Thanks. Wow, this is cute.” Daffodil exclaimed as she saw the cool interior of the bungalow. It has a minibar in between the living room and the dining area and all pieces of furniture are all made of carved wood.
“You like this Sweetheart?”
“Yap, it’s cool.”
“We will stay here for a while. My speed boat was docked on the nearby shore. This is actually a secluded place and far from the city. Only I and my friend knew that I bought this from him. He is still the one who maintained the cleanliness and some trees and vegetable garden at the back.” Lexus stated while opening the two-door fridge located in the dining area.
“Wow, my friend kept something for us. Look at this Daff.” Lexus said while showing her some fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, cans of pineapple juice, soft drinks, and beers inside the fridge. There are some frozen fish and meat also inside its freezer.
“Nice. That’s good you will cook for us.” Daffodil said grinning at Lexus.
Lexus smiled, wrapped her in his arms, and said, “I will cook anything you want, as long as I can find the ingredients inside that refrigerator.” And then he kissed her passionately.
"Thank you, Lex. But, how long are we going to stay here?" she asked after the kiss.
He looked at her and shook his head. "I am still contemplating our next move, Daff. But, definitely, we will not stay here for long. Three days might even be crucial already, as they might be able to find us."
Daffodil looked at him worriedly.
"Don't worry, I will arrange everything, Sweetheart," he assured her and then kissed her again gently.
