Greetings to one and all!

So here we are greeting y’all with a debut of a collaborative book, The Mercies of Love. It is a genuine and never-before-seen Indian and Filipino collaboration/partnership that you’ll be witnessing here. And for in the making of this book, we would like to appreciate future supports from everyone; especially the behind-the-scenes help and support of fellow-personal friends out there. We would also like to give special credentials to Ms. @Ash_m_23 for the gorgeous posters; do give her your full supports too and unending interests of her stories as well. We also want to emphasize give all and full rightful credentials to all and every little references that we’ve taken use of in the making of our story.

One thing more to note; we would like to apologize for any mishaps within our story. You might encounter typographical errors, grammatical errors, confusing POVs (point-of-view) and plots and especially new-shocking customaries. Since it will be a collaborative work, we would like to emphasize that somewhere in the story, there might be some mentioning of certain traditional customaries, events, words and even places of India and Philippines. Do note that there will be two settings in the story, India and Philippines. Thus, we will try our very best to minimize mistakes within the process of making our story. Once again, we apologize in advance.

Lastly and once again, thank you all for every little genuine support that y’all will be giving us and have given us. We will always and forever appreciate it. Thank you very much.

15 AUG 2021…..

Independence Day; a day which everyone celebrates bringing forth freedom from the chains of cruel regimes. Everyone is enjoying the least bits of the said day as one certain girl roams around the breezy-busy streets of Delhi. For a 17 years old young lady who was never able to see such wonder of the outside world, she couldn’t bear to keep her amusement seeing the different things around.

She was enjoying.

She felt the warmth of yet a busy-strange crowd.

She was there in hopes of ending the day with smiles on her face;

But then;

Lying flat on the cold-dusty floor with clothes ripped, hair undone and voice coming scratched from all the shouting, the girl was left realizing that the world will never cease to exist without cruelty happening on its people.

“Please….. please s-stop.”

She begged in pain as two men groped her hand up to her head, one man on her feet groping it tight and wide while one man on top of her taking away all the bits of her little dignity left off her. The man holding her right hand began to move and took off her pants shoving his private part to her mouth as she struggled to release herself from the chains of these demons. She couldn’t do anything; she was all but helpless. She was all but feeling so tiny in this gigantic cruel world.

Why?

Why of all people me?

She started questioning the world. Has she not suffered enough spite to even get this far experience of what seems to be the work of a devil? How can a mere 17 years old be deserving for such brutality? No, no one in this world, even at its peak of complete darkness, no one deserves such inhumaneness. But why? Just why?

In the midst of the busy and enjoying Independence Day of India,

There lays a lady,

Completely shattered,

Once full of hope with the beauty of the world;

Now in despair,
