Chapter 42
Claire’s POV
Those harsh words of his cut through me like a knife, and I felt a tear well up in my eyes. And with that, I was forced to look away. But in all of that, I could hear my Wolf whimpering in my head causing my limbs to suddenly become weak from being turned down sex by my mate.
‘Sex?’ I thought to myself, wondering how on earth I had gotten to this point. At that moment it dawned on me that I’d gone into heat and my Wolf was badly in need of his. She was more than desperate to have him thrusting into us in seconds.
A protest climbed my throat, but it quickly died when he took off his glasses and tossed them to the side before reaching for my face and this time staring down at my lips. Strong, warm hands swept up the back of my thigh and lifted me onto the piano.
A breath passed and then we collided. His mouth slammed against mine, as my fingers found its way to his hair and urgency ignited between us until my limbs were weak and heavy with desire.
This time there was no crowd, no music. Only the desperate, frantic need to get as close to him as possible. My black slammed against the side of the piano as I gasped more at the thick, insistent press of his arousal against my thigh than the impact.
“I was right, you're going to be the death of me!” He muttered and then pulled back with a frown, as he gritted with frustration.
He grabbed my face once again, before kissing me again. Even deeper this time, his mouth explored mine so expertly. That all rational thought dissolved. And all I suddenly wanted was more of him.
He placed a hand over my thigh, sliding up and around until it brushed the wetness soaking my underwear and annoyingly he stopped.
I opened my eyes to find him staring back at me, with a smirk. One that it made obvious that he was going to end it all there. With so much desire in my head, I leaned closer and then whispered the one word I never imagined I ever would.
“P-p-Please,” I whimpered, my voice barely above a whisper. My half gasp, half whimper would have been embarrassing had I been in my right mind. Unfortunately, I couldn't draw enough oxygen into my lungs, and so I gasped for air repeatedly.
My head grew light by the minute, every ounce of consciousness narrowing to the heat building in my centre.
“And here I thought you’d never beg!” Alpha Kelvin whispered mockingly into my ears.
Alpha Kelvin’s sulking murmur, travelled the length of my spine and dropped between my legs. It pulsed with an empty ache as he pushed my panties to the side and rubbed a thumb over my clit.
‘Is this really happening?’ My Wolf yelped with excitement. But still all of that was not enough, she wanted more.
My vision hazed when it felt so good. Whatever it was he was doing to me down there. I didn't see when he pushed my top up and closer his mouth around my nipple or when he pushed a finger deep enough inside me to make me cry out.
Time lost all its meaning, as he consumed me, licking, sucking, and playing me with ruthless precision until I arrived with mindless pleasure.
I practically laid on top of the piano at this point, as a sharp cry tore from my throat when he pressed the most sensitive spot inside me.
I trashed and bucked my hand, accidentally hitting the exposed ivory keys. Discordant notes spilled into the air, masking the existing filthy symphony of moans, whimpers and the wet sound of his finger plunging in and out of me.
My arousal dripped down my thighs and onto my dress, that I was nothing but sensation lost in a rhythm that was both too much and not enough.
Instantly, Alpha Kelvin transformed his soft words suddenly into a rough command.
“Be a good mate and come for me!”
That apparently, was all it took. My orgasm scorched through me like gasoline, set ablaze, higher, hotter, crashing over me.
I fell flat on the piano completely, gasping for air like I had given most of it off from my mini journey of orgasm.
In seconds, I sat drowsily staring up at him. But for some reason, he looked away. And in that moment I snapped back to the realms of reality realizing who I was.
I got off the piano, trying to fix my hair and dress, my legs still wobbly from the impact of his fingers. My eyes trailed off to his hair which was a bit rough from my hands digging into them a couple of seconds ago.
And flags of colors stained the crest of his cheeks, but he was perfectly dressed unlike me. I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, suddenly feeling unsure on whether or not I was meant to say a word.
Just as I turned ready to leave, he grabbed me by the hand pulling me towards him. Eyes locked directly on mine.
“Not a single word about this to anyone!” He grimaced and then took his hands off as I staggered backwards to gain my balance.
With a slight nod I turned to leave. I exited the room first, but I didn't make it two steps before I came to an abrupt halt. My stomach dropped several inches seeing that there was someone by the hallway.
The behemoth of a man stared down at me, his face expressionless. His eyes were an icy, unsettling blue. So pale that they were almost colourless.
His dark hair was cropped short and a vicious scar slashed diagonally across his face from eyebrow to chin. Bisecting it into two otherwise flawless halves.
Well, if it weren't for those scars and those shiver inducing eyes he could have made a killing of a model with those cheekbones.
My gaze dipped and a jolt ran through me at the sight of thick red burns twisting around his neck. And unlike the flat coldness of his stare, the burns seemed to pulse with rage under my scrutiny.
“Alex!” Alpha Kelvin called out from behind me. And just when he did, the gentleman without a word nodded at him and then had his back against us as he turned to leave in seconds.
I could tell from the look in the eyes of the gentleman from earlier that he probably just had seen or heard the Alpha and I.
“He won't say a word,” Alpha Kelvin said and then walked away, leaving me behind. In all of that I chose to believe him, if only for the sake of my sanity.
I gulped nervously, staring down the hallway wondering whether or not he’d seen or heard us like I presumed. I glanced over my shoulders as I walked down the stairs, realizing that the hallway was empty. Yet I couldn't shake the chill crawling over the back of my neck.
The type you got when someone was watching you…
