“Has he eaten anything yet?” Dmitry asked his son’s nanny who shook her head in a no. Orazio refused to eat anything until Dmitry brought him to his mother.

He was not even talking to his father. Orazio was angry with Dmitry and he was showing it to him in the worst possible way.

His son’s anger suffocated Dmitry Kyschove, Pakhan of Bratva, The Monster of Russia, the man everyone is scared of was himself scared of his son.

While he had the power to fulfil every wish and desire of his son in this world. He couldn't at any cost fulfil this wish. He couldn't give his son his mother back.

Dmitry’s throat suddenly choked with emotions recalling how his wife Bella was killed by his enemies. While Dmitry has the authority and power to do anything, he couldn't bring the women he used to love to life again. He couldn't bring his son’s mother back.

“He refused to even drink anything, Pakhan,” The nanny informed Dmitry and he let out a tired breath. This was getting too serious now. Dmitry decided to talk to his son.

He cleared his throat to push back the emotions that choked his throat and

walked to talk to his son who was reading something in his notebook sitting in his bed leisurely.

“Orazio, son. You should not be showing your anger on food like this,” Dmitry said taking a seat beside his son on the bed.

Orazio raised his blue eyes from his notebook and fixed them on his father. “You don't listen otherwise!” He snapped angrily. Yes, He was so sooo angry with his father. In school everyone talks about their Mama. How pretty she is, how good she cooks, how much fun they have with their Mama, going to malls, doing shopping and so much more. Everyone said their Mama loves them more than their Papa.

Orazio also wanted a Mama and enjoy with his Mama like everyone else.  But he didn't have a Mama. Orazio has his Papa and his Papa can't cook

His Papa was always busy so going to malls and enjoying games and shopping, he never did that with his father.

Orazio closed his notebook and sat straight before giving a glare to his father. “Bring me my Mama and I will eat.”

Dmitry begged for patience from some higher self. “Son, you know your Mama has turned into a star. She can't come back,” He told him, a little strictly this time. He had been trying to calm his anger from the past three days, but no use.

He was still intact on his demand and even turned ruthless in punishing Dmitry by not eating anything.

Orazio blinked a few times and sighed. “Then bring me a new mama, my friend in school, Vlad, his Mama was a star too but then his Papa brought him a new Mama. She is pretty, and cooks, and they both enjoy so much. Do you know Vlad went to play games yesterday in a mall with his new Mama. He used to sit with me in school and we used to talk about our Mamas in the sky but now he don't. He said his Mama in the sky sent him a new Mama. His Papa married his new Mama and now they all are happy.”

Dmitry wanted to go to this Vlad’s house and shoot his father, literally for putting him in such a position. “Yes Son. But I don't have a new Mama for you. Vlad’s Papa might have a girlfriend but I don't.”

Orazio narrowed his blue eyes at his father. “then make one, Papa. If Vlad’s papa could have a girlfriend, why can't you!” He demanded. “I told my Mama in the sky to send me a new Mama and…”

“I can't make a girlfriend Orazio. What if she doesn't love you and take me away from you? Some new mamas are bad too. Have you not heard about it in Cinderella story? How her evil stepmother treated her.”

Orazio turned silent and thought for a moment before answering his father. There was a confidence in his eyes and voice. “But she is not like Cinderella’s stepmother. My Mama loves me a lot. You can ask Natalia.”

His words shocked Dmitry. Who was he talking about? Who Mama? Anger and protectiveness ran through through his veins. “What Mama, Orazio? Who loves you?” Dmitry asked a little harshly.  He was going to fire that damn nanny if she had jeopardised his son's safety anyhow.

Orazio was scared for a moment. His blue eyes widened in horror, he shared his secret with his father. The secret he promised his new Mama that he wouldn't share with anyone. “Orazio? Who are you talking about? Who do you meet and where?” He asked as he got to his feet and called Zachary and Viktor. His councillor and Brigadier ordered them to bring Orazio’s nanny with them.

They came running to Orazio’s along with the nanny and looked at their boss questionably. “Is everything alright, Pakhan?” Viktor asked.

“You tell me!” Dmitry snapped on his security head. “What have you been doing if you couldn't look after your future Pakhan’s security thoroughly, Viktor.”

Even Viktor stiffened, his head snapped to Orazio whose baby blue eyes welled with tears. He was scared of his father's anger, Orazio never wanted to tell his father about Maya like this. “Papa she is not bad. She is my Mama. She loves me.”

“What security breach? Orazio is absolutely fine. All my men are very scrutinised about Orazio’s safety.”

Dmitry got into his security head’s face. “Then call your incompetent men and tell them to come here. I will personally handle them.”

Zachary heard everything. He heard Dmitry’s anger and Orazio’s crying plea. Ignoring Dmitry’s anger as he was habitual to it. “He went to Orazio and asked him the whole story. Who he was talking about?”

Orazio sniffed as he cried fearfully. “Her name is Maya and I met her in the Park. She is very pretty just like a princess. I was playing football and my ball hit her. She didn't scold me but talked to me. She said her daughter has turned into a star just like my Mama. We became friends. Don't scold dyadya Zen and Boris. I ordered them to not say anything about Mama to you!” he screamed, standing up in the bed and balling his hands.

Everyone in the room was stunned. Orazio never acted like this before. This kind of protectiveness for a stranger both scared and intrigued Dmitry. Now he was not only desperate to know about this woman but curious too.

“Orazio. You won't be talking to Pakhan like this again,” Zachary scolded him while Viktor called Orazio’s guards and demanded a detailed explanation while Dmitry turned around to hide his anger from his son.  Orazio needed to learn that Dmitry was not only his father but a Pakhan too. And no one talks to a Pakhan like this. Not even his own son!

However, Orazio was not done yet. He jumped off the bed and went to his father. “If you hurt my Mama, I won't ever talk to you again!” He said crying before running out of his room.

“Orazio,” Dmitry took a step to run behind him but stopped when he noticed his men watching him. A Pakhan could not even act like a father in front of his men. Also, he knew his son was safe.

“Her name is Maya Aniston. She is the new intern at The Belle from Canada,” Viktor informed Dmitry who turned around and faced his brigadier.

“She works in my office?” He asked, a frown creased between his eyebrows.

“Yes, Pakhan. Boris has checked her background thoroughly. She is no danger to Orazio. It was her daughter’s death anniversary when Orazio met her. They both became friends. Maya doesn't know Orazio has started seeing his mother in her.”

Dmitry’s fingers clenched tightly in a fist. “I want to meet her. Today when Natalia takes Orazio to Park, I will join them too.”

Zachary sighed. “Orazio won't like that.”

Dmitry craned his neck to his councillor. “There is no one going to tell him about it.”

Zachary and Viktor shared a look. Both knew it was a blundering mistake, Orazio won't like it but they both remained silent. Who could dare to speak in front of their Pakhan?

“I brought these for you, Angel,’ Orazio said, giving Maya a bunch of white roses. Maya smiled lovingly at Orazio and took the roses from him, sniffing their sweet smell.

“Why am I getting these beauties today, kiddo?” Maya asked, kneeling to Orazio’s level and kissing his cheek. Orazio giggled. He loved it when Maya called him Kiddo.

Maya tapped on his button nose before pulling out Orazio’s favourite chocolate from her handbag, tore the wrapper and handed it to her cute little friend. “For you.”

Orazio’s eyes gleamed. “Thank you.” he said, taking a bite. Orazio was in deep thought, he didn't understand how to ask Maya to join him to the mall for mother's day celebration. All his friends were coming there with their mothers. They all are going to play games there and eat and do fun things. All their friends were saving money from their pocket money to buy white roses and gifts for their mothers. Orazio, didn't left behind. He brought the roses and gave to Maya. Her gift was in Natalia’s handbag. He would give it to her after the snacks in front of his friends. He brought a very pretty dress for Maya with Natalia and Boris’ help.

Orazio never celebrated mother's day with his friends, nor did anyone invite him. Everyone knows that he didn't have a mother. But this time when they were making plans for mother's day Orazio told them he would be coming there too.

One of his classmates laughed and told him that they all are coming with their mothers. Who would he come with, his nanny?

This time Orazio was not jealous of them nor did he feel bad for himself. No, he stood tall and told his classmates that he would be coming there with his mother.

Everyone was shocked. They all thought he was lying. Even Nia asked himo if he was telling a lie. Orazio didn't like that, so he told everyone that he was not lying and he would definitely come to the mother's day celebration along with his mother.

“Can we go to the mall? All my friends are coming there with their Mamas to play games. I told them that I will come too but I didn't want to go with Natalia. I want to go with you.”

Maya laughed and ruffled his hair, Orazio beamed at her loving motherly gestures. “But Kiddo, how can we go there alone? You know I only come here to meet you. Natalia is your nanny you can go with her,” Maya said, She loves Orazio and would love to go with him but she couldn't take him anywhere without his father's permission.

“Does your father know that you want to go with me?” She asked him but her eyes were on Natalia who swallowed her saliva to wet her dry throat. “Does he know?” Maya asked the nanny directly.

Orazio glared at Natalia in a warning and before she could open her mouth he answered her: “Yes. Papa knows about it and said I can go with you.”

Maya frowned. “Really?”

Natalia nodded. “Yes. He did. Master Orazio told Pakhan about you last night. So he agreed.”

She was stunned. The man never met her, if anything she was still a stranger and he allowed his only son to go with her. But then her eyes went to the army of bodyguards and nanny, this could be the reason for it. The man knew his son was well protected but still…

But who was she to question the man she never met. It's bad to make assumption about someone you don't even know.  “Fine Kiddo, we can go to this get together,” She said tapping his nose again making Orazio giggle.

Maya loved hearing Orazio laugh. The emptiness she felt after losing her daughter shrinked a little with this child. She wished her daughter would have been alive but life had other plans. Maya was struggling to live with this reality but still the emptiness was eating her. Orazio’s friendship was like a soothing balm to her bleeding wounds.

She was glad that she accepted the internship offer and came to Russia. “Let's go, Angel,” Orazio said getting to his feet. Maya smiled and stood as well and they all left for the mall for the mother's Day celebration. The only twist was Orazio didn't tell Maya about it.

Dmitry was hiding behind a tree nearby, waiting for the girl who dared to influence his son.  He was prepared to handle the girl like a Pakhan handle someone who dared to hurt his family, like a monster.

But he froze when he heard a bell-like voice. Dmitry’s eyes forgot to blink when the woman in question came to vision. Her beauty for a moment, struck Dmitry and he couldn't help but eye her beautiful features. Her almond-shaped dark eyes snatched his breath for a moment. Her pert nose along with heart-shaped lips, her pink cheeks made Dmitry inhale sharply.

Dmitry was stunned at his body’s reaction to this girl. He never felt this fatal attraction for anyone except for his deceased wife. Dmitry snatched his eyes from her and looked down at the grassed ground. “Dmitry.” he scolded himself for whatever he was feeling.

“This if for you,” His son’s voice made him look at her again. Dmitry was shocked to see Orazio giving her white roses. They were Bella’s favorite. He always made sure that Bella have white roses everyday. On special occasions, he took Orazio with her too with Bella’s favorite flowers.

And today, his son was giving his mother's favorite roses to a stranger? This gesture defines how deeply his son was connected to this woman. If he had any doubts they all cleared away seeing his son’s happiness. His eyes were shining, his face glowing with a big smile.

His son was happy with this woman. And the fact that Orazio lied to her about getting His permission to go to the mall stunned him. His six years old son was not only lying to this woman but he was also lying to her.

Not only that he was forcing others to lie to her. Natalia looked at him for permission. Dmitry wanted to see what Orazio was up to so he nodded at Natalia, permitting her to lie for Orazio.

He watched his son leave happily and proudly with the woman he calls Angel. He has doubled Orazio’s security just in case this girl turns out to be someone else.

Dmitry followed them to the mall and was stunned to hear Orazio introducing Maya to everyone. He was practically showing her off to his friends and their mother. She too was happily meeting them.

“Nia, she is my Angel. See how pretty she is,” Maya laughed and kissed Orazio’s cheek. “You are a handsome young man to Kiddo,” She said before turning to Nia, Orazio always talks about her.

She was his best friend.

Nia’s mother and some other mothers of Orazio’s classmates came there too. “We didn't believe it when Orazio told us about you, Maya,” Betty, Nia’s mother, said to Maya.

Maya smiled. “I can understand, but we recently met and became good friends,” she said, pulling Orazio to her and ruffling his hair.

Mrs Yalin smiled. “We all are happy for Orazio and Pakhan. They have been alone for so long. Orazio is lucky to have a stepmother like you. You two bond well. So when is the wedding?”

Stepmother! Wedding!  Maya’s eyes widened upon hearing her. What was she talking about? She felt Orazio’s body stiffened beside her. He moved away from her and grabbed her hand. Orazio was not expecting someone to tell Maya about his lie. “Angel, let's go back. Papa asked me not to stay for long.”

Maya looked at him in confusion. “Wait, Orazio. I think there is some misunderstanding, I am not…”

“Are you done meeting your friends, Orazio?” A sharp and heavy voice interrupted her. Suddenly the energy of the place shifted. Children stopped playing and women stood straight.

Orazio froze, his eyes widened seeing his father there. Maya turned around to face the owner of the voice and came face to face with none other than the Man known as the ‘Monster of Russia.’

Orazio tried to move between Maya and his Papa fearing he would hurt Maya.  But Natalia held him to herself, stopping him from interrupting Pakhan.

Maya’s eyes take in the handsome and authoritative-looking man in front of her who happens to be her boss. She never met him before as she was just an intern but had watched his pictures in the office. He was Orazio’s father? She was stunned.

“Good evening, Pakhan. We heard the good news. Congratulations.”

Dmitry gave a small smile to Orazio’s friends and their mothers. “Thank you for all your wishes. The wedding will be soon and you all are going to be invited,” He said resting his hand on the small of Maya’s back. Maya was horrified, she jumped at his touch, “Mr Kyschove I…”

Congratulations? Wedding? What the hell was going on here. She tried to squirm out of his hold but Dmitry pressed her to him, before looking into her beautiful black eyes. “Shall we leave, little moon?”

While Maya didn't understand anything Dmitry made the whole plan in his mind for Maya Aniston.

On the eve of mother's day, The Monster of Russia promised to give his son a mother. Yes, Dmitry Kyschove decided to marry Maya Aniston. Anyhow!
