Chapter 38 Her obsessive owner!

Chapter 38 Her obsessive owner!
|| Author POV ||

Rosalie slowly pushed Max away, her anxiety rising in waves. Her lashes fluttered with rapid blinks trying to steady her breath.

“I’ll tell my friends I’m leaving. I’ll drive you home, wait here Rosalie. I’ll be right back.” Max said before turning and walking off, leaving her alone under the night sky.

Rosa’s fists tightened around the fabric of her dress. Her gaze slowly lifted and found him.

She didn’t want Max to come back. She was scared.

Swallowing hard, Rosalie took a shaky step forward. Toward the devil. Toward those cold eyes that burned like ice.

She wanted to go back to his mansion, to the silence of that haunting room, to the bed that didn’t belong to her.
Maybe if she closed her eyes and slept, this night would vanish. Maybe she’d wake up and pretend it was all a dream.

Her small frame stood in front of him, fingers fidgeting helplessly at her sides. She couldn’t bring herself to look up.

Killian tilted his head slightly, his gaze trailing down her fragile figure. She was shaking, whether from the cold or from fear, he didn’t care. Either way, it pleased something dark inside him.

He didn’t speak nor did he move. Until her soft inaudible voice broke the stillness.

“I... I want to go back.” Rosa mumble almost like a plea.

\-------

Rosa barely held back her tears as the car rolled to a stop in front of the mansion. The silence between them was suffocating. She didn’t spare him a single glance.

Her heart couldn’t take it. Without a word, she opened the door and stepped out, her heels clicking against the pavement before walking inside.

She just wanted to disappear. To escape his gaze and melt away from all of it.

Stepping inside the mansion Rosa paused at the doorway and quietly slipped off her shoes with her shaky hands. Her chest was rising and falling with shaky breaths.

But before she could take another step, a rough hand clamped around her wrist. Rosa gasped sharply with wide eyes. And before she could process anything, she was slammed against the nearby wall.
A soft cry escaped her lips. Her arms were wrenched above her head, pinned mercilessly. She could only see the wall before her eyes. A large body pressed in behind her, trapping her completely.

He slowly sneaked his strong arms around her tiny waist from back and pulled her closer.

Her breath stuttered when his body pressed against hers, caging her against the cold wall. She felt his heat, his rage seeping into her skin.

“I gave you enough time to adjust. Does that mean you can go around other boys?” His voice came out gutturally dangerous.

“You let them touch what’s mine!” He gritted through clenched teeth.

His words struck her like ice. Mine?

Rosa gasped, heart hammering and he pressed her tighter against the wall.

“You think you can run from me?” Killian leaned down, whispering near her ear, “Let some pathetic boy touch what belongs to me?”

‘Belongs to him?’ Rosa’s mind swirled with confusion. Her eyes wide.

“Tell me!” Rosa flinched so hard when he raised his voice.

“Did you like testing my patience?” His hands slowly released her waist and slipped under her dress before tracing down his finger to her thigh.

Rosa’s whole body trembled beneath his cold touch. Killian grazed his teeth against his bottom lip when the tip of his finger slowly traced her smooth skin.

Smooth like cotton candy.

Her fragile body shook violently. Eyes clenched tight. Her mouth parted in silent surrender.

“You crave to know who owns you, don’t you?”

He vexed, breath rough against her ear. His fingers curled possessively into her flesh.

A shudder ran through Rosa, helpless beneath his merciless grip.

Her hands were forced against the wall above her head, held captive by his relentless dominance. His touch sent jolts of electricity racing through her veins.

His arm pulled her waist, pulling her in even more tighter to his chest before his voice dropped to a harsh possessive whisper.

“I own you!”

Rosa’s eyes went wide at the confession. She couldn’t think straight. Her back pressed against him.

“I own every inch of your body!” he growled. “Every inch of your soul! Every fucking inch of your emotions!” His grip tightened, bruising her delicate wrist.

Rosa winced in pain but he didn’t loosen his grip.

“Killian Salvatore owns you!”

He husked darkly. The hair on her body stood in violent response.

Then suddenly, his hands released her wrists. Rosa gasped and a choked sob escaped her lips until one hand slid under her chin, lifting her small face from behind.

Her wide terrified eyes finally met his blues and in that instant, it felt like her heart stopped. There was something in his gaze she’d never seen before.

Something like burning coal.

His eyes were dark pools of dominance and a feral need to possess. He wasn’t just looking at her, he was claiming her with that glare alone.

And in that moment, Rosa knew, she had made a mistake.

A terrible one!

She fucked up the second she thought she could play with fire and not get burned.

“You trust me?” Killian asked slowly. Rosa fluttered her lashes nervously.

“Answer me. Do you trust me, Rosa?” her breath ragged at the way he said her name. Her name!

It sounded like a haunting melody.

Her eyes trembled.
“I-I t-trust you.” she whispered in a meek voice.

That was it!

Killian’s eyes darkened. His lips curled into a deep smirk.

“It’s time to claim you.”

Before she could react, Killian spun her around. Rosa barely had time to gasp. His strong arms snaked around her waist before lifting her effortlessly and in one swift motion, he threw her over his shoulder.

Her body stiffened in shock, breath caught in her throat as she dangled helplessly against his back, eyes locked on the cold floor below.

Killian stepped on the stairs. His eyes still burning with fury. She shouldn’t have crossed the line!

She needs to pay for her disobedience.
She needs to learn.
Needs to remember exactly who she belonged to.

“Wh-where-?” Rosa tried to speak fearfully. But the moment her words reached his ear, his palm smacked her butt.

A sharp smack!

“Keep quiet!”

Rosa’s body jolted up, she gasped then whimpered, the sound escaped her throat like a plea.

Reaching his door, Killian kicked it open without a word. Rosa kept her eyes on the floor, her heart rattling in her chest. Killian stepped inside, slamming the door shut closed with a thud.

He walked to the bed and stopped just before his bed before slowly pulling her trembling form down from his shoulder. The soft fluffy mattress dipped under his knees.

He gently unhooked her from him.

“P-Professor.”
Rosa melodically cried out as soon as her eyes met his cold blues, her eyes were filled with fear. Her voice cracked like glass.

“Quite.” Killian purred darkly, placing her carefully onto the bed.

The soft mattress dipped and her head landing softly on the black smushy pillow.

His monstrous shadow loomed over her frame, swallowing her whole as he hovered above. The dim light behind him made his eyes look colder and sharper. Rosa lay frozen beneath him, her cheeks heating up into crimson, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Her brows drew together, lips parted slightly.

She felt like something was going to happen.

“You knew what you were doing tonight, didn’t you?” Killian husked, his gaze locked on hers.
He leaned closer, so close she could feel his breath ghosting her lips.
“Do you like punishing me, little rabbit?” he tilted his head “Testing how far I’ll go before I lose control?”

Rosa’s lips quivered hearing the nickname.

Killian’s tattooed arms rested on either side of her, caging her in like a predator cornering its prey possessively. As if daring her to even try escaping.

Her wide eyes flickered, reflecting him back like a mirror of fear and innocence.

His jaw tightened.

His slow predatory gaze dragged down, landing on the soft curve of her neckline. That thin, heart-shaped glittery fabric hugged her chest like it belonged there only to tempt him. Those tiny straps barely covered her shoulders. As if teasing and taunting him.

She was shaking. Good!

Killian leaned closer, his voice gravelly and cold against her cheek.

His jaw clenched as he lowered his head near her collarbone, breathing in the warmth of her skin and her soft fragrance.

“I’ll ruin you.” he whispered almost to himself. “And you’ll let me!”

His lips curved up. A dark smirk plastered his handsome face. Rosalie’s terrified eyes stuck on him.

“It’s time to punish you.”
