Chapter 104 Marry her!
|| Author POV ||
“Leave you?” Killian scoffed darkly. “I can’t! I CAN’T BECAUSE–” his eyebrows joined. He swallowed watching her tears.
“Because I’m fucking addicted to you!” he gritted. “I AM FUCKING OBSESSED!”
“WITH YOU!” Rosa flinched hard.
Killian loosened his grip with a soft jerk. His chest was heaving. He turned his back on her and Rosa stood frozen. Her body quaked and eyes brimmed with tears, watching him turn back.
Obsession?
He was obsessed with what–? Her body?
The last flicker of hope inside Rosa’s chest was ripped away the moment the lock clicked shut and he was gone again.
“Don’t do this to me.” her fingers dug into the fabric of her dress.
Her knees gave out and she collapsed against the cold floor. The sound of her scream muffled by the heavy door. She begged, pleaded in silence until her voice broke but only silence answered her.
He would not come back.
She was caged again. In that suffocating room.
Her palms pressed flat against the cold tiles and body quaked with hiccuped sobs.
Tears dripped in an endless stream, blurring her vision until all she could see was the merciless floor beneath her and her bandaged hand.
“You-you can’t do this to me.” the words trembled on her tongue. “Stop this.”

Killian stormed into his room, slamming the door behind him.
“FUCKING HELL!”
Killian pushed the glass from the nightstand, shattering it into pieces before snatching his phone from the table. He ran a hand through his hair–jaw tight, breath ragged.
He was losing control.
All he wanted was to gather her close, bury her sobs against his chest and promise she had nothing to fear–that he wouldn’t hurt her. That he would keep her safe from his own beast. From his bloodied world and never lie to her once again.
But the wild terror in her eyes told him otherwise. She wouldn’t listen. She wasn’t ready to accept his true self.
And yet, the sound of her crying gnawed at his chest, tearing him apart with every echo that slipped through the walls.
He couldn’t take it anymore.
With a sharp inhale, Killian punched in Albert’s number. His thumb pressed down harder than needed. His gaze burned, eyes smoldering with darkness.

MEANWHILE, Aria stepped into the police station. Last night she couldn’t sleep in worry. The head of the police looked up as she entered.
“Have a seat.” he said calmly, gesturing to the chair across from him.
Aria lowered herself into it, hands clenched in her lap. “I want to file a report. My friend has been missing for a few days.”
The officer nodded. “What information do you have so far?”
Aria hesitated, then finally said, “I can’t reach her on her phone and–”
“Maybe it’s broken, or she’s just not answering?” the officer suggested.
“No.” Aria said firmly, shaking her head. “I know what’s going on. I want to report against Killian Salvatore. He–”
The words seemed to snap the officer into sharp attention. His eyes widened. “What did you just say?”
“Killian Salvatore.” Aria repeated, swallowing hard.
The officer paused and his pen hovered over the paper.
“You mean the Mafia leader? You’ve heard the news, right?” His voice was edged with unease. Aria narrowed her eyes.
“Yes. And I know he’s involved in my friend going missing–”
“I’m sorry, ma’am.” the officer interrupted, shaking his head. “I can’t file this report.”
Aria stiffened. “W-why not? My friend has disappeared without a trace–”
“Please, ma’am.” his voice dropped to almost pleading. “Try to understand. Filing a report against a mafia king.. it could get all of us killed.” Aria’s chest tightened with helplessness.
“I’m really sorry but we cannot help you.”

Killian’s car glided through the main gate of Albert’s grand mansion. His gaze was icy, scanning the guards who instantly bowed as he passed.
He had to come. He couldn’t sit back anymore when Albert was trying to snatch his girl. He needed a serious talk.
Killian strode straight into the mansion. His sharp blue eyes landed on the old man seated on the couch.
Albert looked up at the sound of Killian’s steps. “Oh, you’ve come, my boy.” he set his teacup carefully on the glass table. A faint smile played on his lips.
Killian gave a slight nod and strode forward. “You wanted to see me.” he slid into the couch across the old man.
“Yes. There’s something very important we need to discuss.” Albert replied calmly.
Killian exhaled slowly. His eyes fixed on the old man with dark intensity, though his posture remained formally respectful as always.
He knew exactly what Albert had to say. He needed to clear it out first.
The room grew heavier. Albert didn’t waver. Instead, his gaze met Killian’s before he finally opened his mouth.
“I want you to marry Elara.”
