It is another one of those days where Trinity ignores everything I say, just a simple pass of the milk, she ignores.
Now the woman thinks that playing the silent treatment with me is going to make me change my mind; well, I got news for her, that shit just does not sit with me.
So what do I do?
I make my exit, but this time, I am the one showing those goddamn hips.
And as I leave the dining room, I hear her grunt and curse underneath her breath, “For fuck sakes, he just had to go and to do.”
Very satisfied, I make my way to Vic’s office to find out what the fuck is going on with the war. So as I knock, I hear a very frustrated Vic asked after me.
“Who is it?”
“Colton, Vic, but I can come back later.”
“No, Colton, come in, you just the man that I need to talk to.”
As I enter, and I take a look at Vic, I can see that he has not slept in days. This fucking war is taking everything out of him, and now on top of this, all he has Trinity to worry about. I can honestly say that I glad to only be in half the same boat as him.
So, he shows for me to sit and starts to pour a whiskey for us both, now I know that I should not even dare to say no to him. I take it maybe somewhat eagerly from his hand and sit back into the chair.
“So,” he starts, and I know he has something on his mind that he's burning through his brains for hours. “I heard that Karlo got quite under your skin.”
“Quite, well, that is slightly an understatement. He talks to Trinity like she is a fucking piece of shit.”
“Now, Colton, I know that it is hard to have to answer to a man like Karlo, but I that is just the way that it is going to be. The man is getting married to my little princess.”
“Ya, but Vic. Now no disrespect, but is there no other way to sort out this deal?”
“Ha! You sound exactly like Alexa; I would swear that you two are in this convincing Vic together.”
I only but nervously chuckle; if I only know what else I am involved in, then he would be pouring poison in this glass. But let us not stir this boat, well, not just yet.
But fucking soon, I will.
“So,” Vic carries on, “Trinity seems rather miserable, now you won't have anything to do with that?”
Fuck!
Now, what do I say to a man that has a gun only but an inch away from his hand? Nothing.
“She is just upset about how the thing with Karlo went.”
“I will speak to her. She knows that she has no choice.”
Then as I take the last of my whiskey in a rather big gulp, I look at Vic, not trying to give away my disappointment. “Is there anything else that you needed?”
“No, Colton, I am just making it clear what I have said before. You better keep those hands to yourself. Trinity is marrying Karlo; I do not care who says what.”
“Loud and clear, Vic.”
With that, I leave the office; if I did not know better, then I would say that Vic has his suspicions. Best I stay even further away from his little princess, for I value these hands.
But as I make my way to my room, guess who is blocking the way to my door.
Trinity.
And the woman has changed, now if she thinks putting on that gooddamn red dress that it is going to melt my skin to my bone, then the woman has something else coming.
“Trinity, what are you doing? Are you not supposed to be ignoring me still?”
“You just had to go do that.”
“Do what?”
“You exactly know what I am talking about, Mr. Cruz. Do you think you can seduce a woman and turn away?”
“Trinity, I was not seducing you. You will know when I am seducing you, and princess, that was not it. Now can you kindly get out the doorway before your dad comes to fucking kill me?”
“Daddy won't know.”
“Princess, I have news for you. Daddy is suspecting. Now, if I value my hands, I won't push you out the way but will merely ask. Please move.”
But the little vixen just stands there. I swear the edges she gets closer to danger thrills that body so. She lives to feel that adrenaline pumping through her heart and that ache build-up to absolute torment between those long elegant legs. She pushes that line and everybody that goes with it. She will get me fucking killed. And she does not understand that.
“Trinity, please move.”
And what does she do? She moves, just in the wrong damn direction.
She slips very elegantly inside my room, and I am left to scope the damn hallway up and down to see if Vic is not hiding somewhere.
Trinity Stone is on fire, and god, she is dangerous. And now she is in my room.
I know if she touched me, then I can say no, but if I say no, well, that is a completely different question I need to ask myself. Well, keeping my hands answer that one for me over and over.
So once again.
“Trinity, please. Your father is going to kill me if he finds you in my room.”
“Just a minute, Colton.”
“Trinity, that is the minute I do not have. Now god, please, I beg you.”
Then what does she do? She goes to lock the door.
But wait.
She comes walking back, and with every step that she takes, she starts to drop the straps of her dress slowly over her shoulders.
“Fuck. Trinity.”
She only but smiles and then comes to a slow halt just but a few steps in front of me.
“Take me, Colton.”
“No, Trinity.”
“Colton, then just kiss me.”
Fuck. Do. Not. Do. This.
She looks down at my slightly parted lips, and I know what is about to happen. My heart skips fucking beat, and my damn knees get wobbly. I curl my hand around her neck and tangle the other in her long wavy hair.
Our lips brush softly against each other like little butterfly wings. Her lips dance soft and delicate against mine. But I pull away and hesitate for a moment. She tastes like passion, like pure, unrestrained passion, and I want more.
So we begin to close the gap even more than before. What begins as a small peck becomes more passionate. The rest of the world spins so fast it becomes non-existent. I lean even further into her, and our body melts into each other. It is as if I can feel a fire blazing within me, out of control. We are completely and utterly in sync at this very moment.
Then she presses her lips against mine even harder. Lightning passes through me. I feel lost in a different universe, and she is slowly taking me there. Her cold hand creeps from my neck down my spine and pulls me closer. Her touch makes my body shiver. My heart races. My body surrenders. I give everything to her.
Slowly, she slips her arms firm around my waist and pulls me closer to the bed. Now fuck do I stop her or let her let me take her. God knows that there is nothing more that I want than to be inside of her.
I want to feel her warmth deep in her depths as I fill her completely inch by inch, pushing her body to a limit beyond diving over a cliff of ecstasy and pleasure.
But as she looks at me, those eyes smolder. I can see the desire that is burning on the edge of lust and a hint of passion. Her craving speaks unspoken from those soft velvet lips that are trembling but a fraction from the arousal she feels that is building within the center of her core. I only have to touch her, but like a feather and she would explode.
As she lays down on the bed like the goddess that she is, I tower over her; now this is where I should lose myself in her. But all I do is pull her from the bed; as she comes to stand in front of me, I slip those straps back over her shoulders.
“Sorry, Trinity, but I can’t.”
With that, she spins around on her heels and rips open the door, and god did I wish that she just never open it at all.
“Daddy!”
