Chapter 37
Finally, it was Friday. The last day of the week in this prison. Man, I love the weekends. I get to relax, sleep late, eat and go to the bathroom whenever i want, and all of the other wonderful things you get to do at home. I was up all night, finishing all of my assignments and homework and ended sleeping so late at night. I yawned out of tiredness, trying to keep my eyes open while walking to my locker. While I was walking down the hallway, I noticed that the people around me were looking at me and murmurring in each other ears. Why are they staring at me? These two girls walked pass by me and gave me dirty looks. The stares and whispers of the students puzzled me.
Hmm.. I'm so confused right now. Just ignore them Sophia.
I shook my head and turned my attention back to my locker. I opened my locker, but a hand slammed it shut. I immediately shot my head to the side to see Anne and Dana staring at me like I did something wrong.
"Why did you guys do that?" I spat.
"Why didn't you tell me that you and Bradley are dating?!" Anne questioned with her hands on her hips.
"What are you guys talking about? We are not dating!" I exclaimed, diverting my eyes back to my locker.
"You didn't say it right. Let me handle this," she told Anne, nodding her head. "Why didn't you tell us that you and Bradley are in a relationship?!" she exclaimed, staring at me.
Me and Anne stared at her.
"Dana, it's the same thing," Anne replied with a blunt expression.
"Well, rumors are flying around saying that you both are dating."
"wait are you guys being forreals?" I queried.
They both nodded their head in agreement.
"The whole school knows," Anne commented.
"Who spread this rumor?" I questioned.
"People said that Bradley told his friends who told everyone that they know and then other people heard," Dana blabbered.
BRADLEY. I'm going to kill him.
I grabbed my stuff off the floor and walked straight down the hallway.
"Wait! Where you going?!" they shouted.
I stormed inside of the cafeteria, searching for him. People were staring at me as my eyes were roaming around the room to look for him. However, I didn't care and ignored their stares. He was about to hear my mouth today. As I looked around the lunchroom, I spotted Bradley who was sitting in the corner with his friends and laughing about something. I marched to his table and approached him, but they just basically ignored my presence.
Bradley! We need to talk. Now," I asserted, tapping on his shoulders.
"Not now babe," he disregarded as he averted his attention back to his friends.
I scoffed with this sardonic smile on my face like I'm about to go insane. Oh hell no! He did not just ignore me! The freaking nerves that he got. He's about to feel so much pain when I shove my foot down his throat. He literally just ignored me and talked to his friends like I was invisible. So, I repeatedly tapped on his shoulders once again, but this time with more force and strength. I did it so hard that I hope he felt the pain and anger that I am going to give him.
"Baby," I gritted my teeth. "I need to talk to you like right now."
"Princess. I'm busy," he dismissed, brushing me off while turning back to his friends once again.
I'm losing all types of patience.
"BRADLEY GET THE HELL UP," I exploded with anger and annoyance.
They all turned around and looked at me like I was crazy.
"You better go man. Your girlfriend is upset," one of his friend commented.
"Damn bossy and sassy," the other friend sneered.
"Alright boys. I'll be back," he said, getting out of his seat.
I grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the lunchroom.
"What?"
We stood in this small between the walls of the classroom. No one was in the hallway. I stood there with my arms crossed over my chest as he leaned against his back on the wall.
"So, when were you planning to tell me the news about our relationship? I just got the news that I'm your girlfriend and I didn't even know it," I said sarcastically.
"Yeah... you see I had this little bet with my friends," he explained with that sly smile in the corner of his lips in amusement.
"You made a bet that involved me and you didn't tell me?"
"It's not big deal," he remarked.
"It's not a big deal? It's not a big deal?!" I repeated, raising my voice. "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" as I pointed my finger to my forehead.
"Kitten, dating me will only rise your fame and reputation in this school, he scoffed, smirking.
"Yeah you're right. Thanks to you I'm probably going to get death stares by these other girls who probably going to make my life miserable. So, thank you so much," as I pointed at his chest.
"You're welcome," he chortled.
"You're really funny. You're so funny babe that I just want to punch you in the face so badly that you can't even bother looking at other girls," I retorted.
"Ooh aggressive? I like," he remarked with sacarsm, raising his eyebrows upward.
I shirked in annoyance.
"UGH!"
I took a deep breath. Exhale and inhale Sophia. I opened my eyes back up.
"Let me just breath in and out right now before I murder you. You're going to tell everyone that we are not dating," I demanded.
"No can do Princess," he denied.
"Fine. You don't want to, then I will," I addressed.
"And whose going to believe you?" he sarcastically asked with a smirk.
He made a good point. No one is going to believe me even if I tell them.
"I have my sources," I lied, staring at the lockers next to him.
He rolled his eyes.
"Just play along."
"Are you asking me to pretend to be your girlfriend?" I questioned, feeling confused and suspicious.
"Yes," he muttered with a blunt expression on his face.
"What is it in for me?" I questioned, crossing my arms over my chest.
"What do you want?" he grumbled.
Interesting. He caved in.
"Well, you see I have this project about what it is like to be a women through a guy's perspective and I need someone to help me with this experiment," I lied.
"So you want me to help you with your project?"
"Yep."
"Easy. What do I have to do?" he asked.
HEHEHEHE. I can't believe he actually fell for my trap
"I want you to wear a wig and wear our school uniform," I informed.
"This is ridiculous. I am not going to dress up like a girl," he retorted.
"What? Are you chicken?" I joked.
"I am not a chicken," he replied sternly.
"Bwak," i mocked, flapping my arms.
"I'm not doing it," he asserted.
"Fine, I guess I'm just going to have to announced our break up," as I raised my voice in the empty hallway.
"Shut up," he glared at me. "I'll do it," as he covered my mouth as I hid a smirk.
Oh Bradley. You're so naive.
I burst into laughter.
"What's funny?" he frowned..
He walked out the boy's bathroom, wearing a blonde curvy and long wig and the girl's school uniform. The skirt showed his big and muscular calves and the hair on his legs. The uniform looked so tight on him that he could rip it in half because of how muscular and fit his body was. He looked like a giant doll.
"Nothing at all. You look wonderful," I complimented, biting my tongue and holding in my laughter.
"Are you doing this to embarrass me?"
"Of course not. It's a real project," I lied.
"You're lying," he hissed.
"I am not!" I exclaimed, defending myself.
"I'm not stupid Princess. You got this look on your face when you lie."
"You can ask Anne. We're doing this project together. On the bright side, you look prettier than me as a girl," I commented, shrugging my shoulders and acting innocent.
He glared at me and rolled his eyes. It was hard trying to convince him to do it, but I manage to pull some strings. We both agreed that he would only wear it for one class and he could take it off after our last class was over. As we walked inside our last class together, one of Bradley's friend who I don't talk to whistled at Bradley while the rest of the classmates were in shock and quietly laughed.
"Damn you look fine," his friend teased.
"Right? Isn't my baby cute?" I teased, batting my eyelashes.
We both stared at each other and started cracking up. He glared at us, telling us to shut up. His eyes were filled with annoyance.
"Shut it," he barked.
That's what he gets for messing with me. It was even funnier when Mrs. Jones walked in the class, immediately looking at Bradley who was not impressed nor amused.
"Mr. Sen. Can you please tell me why you are dressed like a doll today?" she asked dryly.
I knew that she wanted to laugh. But, she couldn't.
"Uh for a project?"
I snickered in my seat, hiding my face.
"I don't even know why I asked," she sighed, slightly rolling her eyes.
After English class was over and people were taking a quick picture of Bradley who literally made them deleted it, he was quick. I quickly packed up my things and tried to leave the class. However, Bradley stood in front of me, stopping me from leaving. Everyone left the class by now. Darn it. Why do I always take forever to pack up.
"This wasn't a real project, was it?" he stated, not looking too happy.
"Well... no," I confessed, cracking up.
"Do you think this is funny?" he questioned.
"Oh no. I think it's hilarious, I replied with a victory smile.
"You'll be sorry that you did this," he warned.
Oh but you see I'm not. I would say that we're even now," I sneered, patting him on his shoulder.
He stood up straight and steps closer to me, backing me into the corner of the wall. My hands were on the side of my body, feeling nervous. I flutter my eyes and glanced at the ground. I gulped as he stared at me.
"We are not even until I say we are," he said quietly in his low husky voice, staring down at me with a small smirk.
What did I get myself into?
