Chapter 119 United by Hate
THIRD POV
“What’s going on? Why are we here exactly?”
Nobody said anything and Hannah was freaking out completely at this point. Who was this old man who was staring at them like this?
“Luke, say something! You guys are creeping me out! What the hell is going on here?”
“Relax, child. You’re not at risk, if you were, you wouldn’t have made it here alive. I brought you here for a reason, the both of you and I hope we can discuss this matter better.”
Hannah and Lisa looked at each other confused at what was going on and who the hell this man was supposed to be.
“What do you want to talk about with us?” Hannah asked cautiously.
“No! We don’t even want to know so save it for someone else. Thank you but we’ll be on our way now.” Lisa countered firmly.
No one moved and she knew that she was alone in her decision to leave.
“Wow, really? You want to hear what he has to say? If we die out here, my spirit is haunting you forever and ever.”
They turned their attention back to the man who was waiting patiently for them to process all the information. He knew that it could be a lot for them to agree with at first so he made sure to be patient and wait for them to come around.
“Okay, let’s hear it then. What do you want from us?”
The Grandmaster stepped forward with a smile on his weathered face.
“The one thing that unites all of us here is our hatred for Alpha Elijah. That’s why I gathered all of you here today.”
Hannah was the first person to talk and respond to that. She laughed actually.
“Hatred? The only thing I feel towards that man is love so you have the wrong crew entirely. I don’t hate Alpha Elijah. I love him with all my heart and soul.”
The Grandmaster should have known this would be her response to that statement.
“But he doesn’t feel the same way about you, does he? That’s why he threw you in the dungeon to rot away.”
Hannah didn’t like the fact that he had mentioned that painful truth. It still hurt deeply in her chest.
“It’s all because of that damn bitch! If she didn’t come into our lives, everything would have been fine between us. Everything was perfect before she showed up.” She vented. The anger was very clear in her voice.
Nobody said anything to her as they didn’t buy into her delusion at all. They knew better than that.
“So how would you feel if I told you that you could do something to her? I mean, anything you wanted to do.”
Hannah liked the sound of that very much. She had a lot of things that she wanted to do to Adriana and had been dreaming about.
He turned to Lisa with interest.
“And what if I told you that you could take out Alpha Elijah too and get your revenge?”
“I don’t really care about Alpha Elijah except for the fact that he threw me in prison for no good reason. The person I hate the most is my sister. That bloody bitch who always gets everything!”
This wasn’t what he had planned at all in his mind. He thought that their history with Alpha Elijah would make them hate him and want to kill him desperately. He needed eyes and ears in the pack and they were the only ones who could give him what he wanted and needed.
Presently, Luke was the only one who hated Elijah just as much as he did and that was because he wanted his mate for himself and himself alone.
“Well, if you do as I say and follow my instructions, you can do what you want with her and then you’ll have Alpha Elijah to yourself.”
Hannah liked the idea of getting Adriana out of the way permanently but then again, she didn’t want to work for anyone. She hated taking orders from people with a passion.
“And why should we trust you? I mean, we don’t even know who you are or what you want.”
“You don’t need to know who I am. All you need to know is that I can give you what you want if you listen to me and follow my orders. I mean, I did get you out of your cell after all. So what do you say to my proposal?”
They both thought about it carefully and seriously. There was no need for Luke to even think about it because he had completely agreed a long time ago without hesitation.
If only Lisa knew that this was the very man that had killed her father in cold blood, she wouldn’t have willingly agreed to his plan at all.
“Fine, whatever. As long as I teach that stupid bitch a lesson she’ll never forget for the rest of her life.”
Hannah noticed that she was the only one that wasn’t on the same page as everyone else.
“Fine, whatever. As long as nothing happens to my Elijah and he remains safe.”
Killing Elijah was the main reason he was doing all this in the first place. If not, he had no reason to be seen with people like this at all.
But the more he thought about it, he needed them desperately for his plan to work. For some reason, he couldn’t spy on his pack as he usually did to others when he wanted information he couldn’t normally get through his powers.
He was sure that it was because of those witches protecting him with their magic.
Now that he finally had people who were willing to work with him, it would only be a matter of time before Elijah would be at his feet begging for mercy and his life.
“Very well then. Since we’ve passed that hurdle, we must discuss how you will begin your new mission for me.”
He led them to a place where they could rest and freshen up properly and prepare for what was coming next. The cave he took them to was hidden deep in the forest, protected by ancient spells that would keep them safe from detection.
Inside, there were supplies waiting for them—food, water, fresh clothes. The Grandmaster had planned everything meticulously.
As they settled in, he began to explain their roles in detail, making sure they understood exactly what was expected of them. Hannah listened intently, her mind already racing with possibilities of what she would do to Adriana once she got the chance. Lisa sat quietly, her hatred for her sister burning in her eyes. And Luke stood guard at the entrance, ready to follow any order given to him without question.
