Chapter 96 They let him go?
Benjamin's POV
After we ate we all went into the movie room. I sat down in the recliner and pulled Trinity on my lap. I love having my kitten in my arms.
We were all sitting around talking. All throwing out ideas to get the hell out of here when a call came through to my phone. It was a blocked call, a private number. I usually don't answer those but maybe Alpha Blake or another Alpha is being watched or something.
"Hello " I said in a deeper voice, trying to disguise mine.
"Hey Boss. You are not going to believe this. Not even for fucking second." Zak said after I answered. Zak. But he was caught. He's in the dungeon. What the hell is going on.
"Boss, hey are you there?" He asks. Damn. I forgot to answer him. I'm shocked for starters. My mind is going a million miles a minute. Thinking up insane possibilities. My eyes brows are wrinkled together, my lips slightly puckered.
"Boss, do you have to go to the potty?" Alex asked as my men bursts out laughing. "Hahaha fucking funny. Alex has jokes." I mumbled under my breath but loud enough to be heard.
"Uh, hey boss are you there. It's me Zak." Zak once again says as he's getting irritated at being ignored.
I shake my head, trying to pull myself together. I rub up n down my kittens thigh. Trying to calm down my thoughts. She senses I need her, my amazing kitten lays her head on my shoulder "My king, my love. Breathe sweetheart." She whispers in my ear as she kisses my earlobe and then my neck. I look at her, into her big bright beautiful brown eyes, and I'm calmer, more together. I lip thanks kitten to her and kiss her nose.
"Boss, this isn't funny. Are you there. This damn phone.." Zak starts to say as he's screaming and already got irate.
"Yeah, I'm here. The phone isn't messed up. I heard you got caught. I heard that one bitch got caught as well." I ramble, still not believing it's him.
"Yeah boss, it's definitely me. Shit man, I have a damn story and a half to tell you. You definitely are not going to believe this shit. Where are you. Your not at the castle yet are you?" He asks after he just rambled off a bunch of shit.
Fuck. I knew it. The kings want my location. They are using my own fucking man to get it. Did they actually think I was fucking stupid enough to fall for this shit.
"That's exactly what your doing. Your working with the damn Twins to find my location. To try and kill me and the rest of us. To get my kitten." I spit as my temper rises and I ball up my fist until my knuckles turn white.
"Fuck Boss. A lot has happened in the last few hours. They are not hunting you. They actually couldn't care less about your location. To answer your question from earlier No. I'm the only one they let go. Not Lydia, Not Melvin. Just me. They did give me a warning though, if I made another move on their Queen it would definitely not be overlooked and the penalty will be death." He said all in one breath.
"What the Fuck!!! You mean I can just walk out of hiding and just go home. Just like that." I say as I look around the room at my men. A lot of brows are raised.
"Yes, if that's what you want to do but I'd like to let you know that's not a very smart idea. Yeah the kings are not after you but boss, this shit they gave me for you to look at, boss I never once said it was safe for you to be just walking around." He explains. "But they also told me to let you know that until you look at what I brought that you shouldn't meet up with Alpha Blake or anyone else and definitely shouldn't let them know your location. Oh and they advised using a burner phone because they can track your phone. They said this phone is safe." He said quickly.
"So, let me get this straight. They are not after me. Alpha Blake is. Is that what you are telling me Zak."
Damn I'm all kinds of confused right now. Shit!!!
"Where are you at Zak?" I have to see what the hell is going on.
"I'm outside the bunker. They said your trail went cold fast. Knowing you, I could only come up with one place you would hide. The only place no one knows about but us." He said matter of factly.
"Yeah, I'm opening the door now. Zak, if your fucking with me, I'll kill you myself!" I say sternly.
"Boss, just open up."
"Alex, you and Ned go to the entrance. Escort Zak to me." I also let them know to watch their back and to take atleast ten men with them.
