Chapter 46 In the tunnels
Trixie's POV
All I could think about was that kiss with Coban. Yes I enjoyed my kiss with Caden as well but with Coban, I felt so much, it was different. I didn't want to pull away. I wanted to continue kissing him. Stop Trixie. We have to focus. I tell myself.
Sabrina, Tina and I went to the restroom. A couple minutes later a few of the woman warriors entered, one at a time, making sure we had no problems and no one else was in here. Once the last guest went out, and we were left with the ones that were supposed to be in here, a couple of the Warriors walked into the supply closet that was located in here.
They checked the room to make sure that there was no one hiding in there. Once they were satisfied, they gave it the all clear, as they removed a hidden panel off one of the walls, a tunnel. Sabrina,Tina and I entered the tunnel.
This tunnel should be clear as the only ones in the entire palace that knows about it is the King's and Beta, Kevan and his mate.
Well now a couple of the Warriors. They put the panel back on locking us in.
We turned on our flashlights.
I guess it's time to go.
Sabrina took the lead. She knew her way through the tunnels.
It was her job to learn them so we made it through pretty quickly.
We were about to enter the area where we were supposed to come out at and go into the King's personal room when Leigha stopped me. "Trix,wait we can't go in there!" she said to me. "What's wrong why can't we?" I asked, all of a sudden Leah takes over turns around towards Sabrina and Tina.
They were taking the final steps towards the exit when "STOP NOW" Leigha says aloud.
Sabrina and Tina froze in their spots as Leigha gave me back control.
"Sorry my dear. I had to stop them. Charlie is waiting for us in there." She says to me. Damn, how the hell did he get in there? What the hell! "Sabrina, Tina" I whisper as I moved closer to them.
"I'm sorry about that, my wolf Leigha, wanted to stop us from entering the King's room. She scented Charlie, uncle Melvin, son."
We move further back into the tunnel where we can talk without being heard.
Once we are far enough back down the tunnel that we know we won't be heard, we stop.
"Are you sure Charlie is in there?" Sabrina asked "Leigha told me she scented him." I answer.
"But she can be wrong. We're supposed to go and wait in the panic room. We will be safest in there." Tina says
"Trix, it's not safe. As soon as we come out of this tunnel, he will scent us." Leah says.
"How did you scent him if he can't scent us in here." I asked Leigha.
"Were of Alpha blood and were the White Wolf. Also were the queen, our senses are very much better than his. You have to to stop them from leaving the tunnel." she says.
"Sabrina, Tina. Let's sit for a minute. Shall we." I said to them as I motioned to the ground.
"Look, I didn't want anyone to know and definitely wouldn't of said anything if circumstances were different." I begin saying as I try to find the right words to say.
Just when I was about to continue talking Leigha took over control.
"Please listen to Trixie. Please just hear her out. " she said and gave me back control.
"We have their attention now, Trix. As you were saying." She smirks.
Damn her.
They both are frozen solid. They are just staring at me. Are they scared.
"No, they are shocked." Leigha answers my thoughts.
When Leigha takes over while I'm in human form our eyes have a golden glow. They look solid gold. "There is a old tale that only the White Wolf has golden eyes. No wonder their frozen solid." Leigha says with a big ole grin on her face. She's enjoying this a little too much.
"Are you two alright." I ask and chuckle at their behavior.
They both nod their heads very fast looking as if their heads will bob off any minute.
"As I was saying" I continue "We're of Alpha blood, double Alpha blood to be exact. My parents were both Alpha blood and they were the Alpha and Luna of the White Claw Pack before they died when I was only 12. My uncle, Melvin, stripped me of my Alpha title when he took over, giving me, in name only, the Omega title. Were also mated to Coban and Caden, although were not actually marked and mated, we still have some changes that happened to us. One more thing, as you probably are wondering right now, Yes, we are the White Wolf. With all of that being said, please don't question the fact that if we can scent something, yes we are not 100 percent right all the time, but is 99.9 percent enough for you two." I tell them raising my brow at them with a smirk.
Yeah, that definitely got their attention.
"I think you broke them Trix." Leigha laughs.
As both of them are frozen solid, mouths half open, staring at me.
"Yeah Leigha, they are definitely broke." I chuckle.
After I gave them enough time to catch up with everything I just threw at them, I continue.
"Charlie is not of alpha blood, he's actually of Omega blood, hence the reason he can't scent us in the tunnels."
"That's why you can scent him from in here and he can't scent us in here. You have heightened senses." She says in AWE as if saying out loud makes her understand it better.
I give them a shy and sheepish look.
"So what do we do now." Tina asks.
"We can't mindlink from the tunnels, that's the biggest problem." Sabrina says.
"We have to stay put. We stay here until we're sure it's safe. We were headed to the safe room anyway, well this," I say motioning around us "is our safe room. Leigha and I will try and figure out a way to let them know that we're safe."
"We can send our feelings, our emotions through the bond." Leigha says to me matter of factly.
