Chapter 147 We Will Lose?

Chapter 147 We Will Lose?

Coban's POV

The pain hits like a blade driven straight through my skull. I gripped the arm of the chair, my jaw locking as white, hot pressure pulses behind my eyes.
"Fuck! It can't be. No no. Not Trixie!" Conan says as I'm trying to deal with this pain. "So you saw it as well. It has to be wrong." I say as another flash hits my eyes and very sharp pain along with it. "I saw and I don't like." Conan huffs as he's pacing back and forth.
I close my eyes, trying to relieve some of the pressure and it hits me so fucking clear.
Another vision. I see them. I see the women. Trixie. Trinity. Roxy. Sabrina. Tina. They get to them.
Another flash hits. This one is more details. "We lose too many." Conan growls.
"They break through. They breached the inner walls." he snarls. "I see it buddy. Damn, I see it too." I say as I'm rubbing my temples.
Then the vision shifts. It's nightfall now. Borders are burning elsewhere. Enemy numbers are thinning. They're numbers are cut down before they even reach us.
"We need to lower their numbers or we will lose everything." Conan says as he is still pacing back-and-forth.
The pain slams back into me and I gasp. There's a voice I hear. I can't seem to open my eyes. Nothing is clear but the vision. "Coban" I hear someone say my name.
"Hey, look at me." Trixie says. She's already on my lap. Her fingers slide to my temples, then replaced by her thumbs while she cradles the back of my head like she knows exactly where it hurts the most.
Caden he's beside us in a heartbeat. One hand is gripping my shoulder and the other is steadying Trixie. He looks at me. "Let me guess, another vision." he asks as he is watching me carefully.
I nod my head once. "Yeah man. Damn this one's terrible." I say, as Trixie is still rubbing my temples, trying to help my pain.
"Brother, get the group together. We have major problems." I stay with my eyes closed. "This can't wait. It's that bad." I finally opened my eyes and look straight at him.
Caden looks at me and nods.
Moments later, the Kings quarters sitting room is full.
Kevan leans up against the wall, his arms are crossed. Marks sprawls into a chair as Tina climbs onto his lap. Darien and Lucian take the sofa with Roxie sitting in between. Trinity and Benjamin, Calvin and Margaret all take the other sofa.
I draw a slow breath and then exhale just as slowly. "Norman's attack goes through if we let it. Over 600 Warriors hit us all at once. We lose way too many. They get way too fucking close. They get our girls." I say asTrixie is still on my lap, rubbing my temples.
The room goes silent. Then all at once everyone thinks it's a great idea to talk all at once.
"Alright. I know everyone has questions. I'll have the answers. But, we can only talk one at a time." I say as I close my eyes once more.
"Are you sure? We have numbers. How do they get so close?" Benjamin shoots off question after question. "Exactly. Shouldn't we just stick to the plan?" Calvin asks with a raised brow.
"Look, we need to thin them out before they even reach the palace. If not, they're hitting us all at once. They get through. We lose." I say, as I'm staring at all of them now. I'm trying to get my point across.
I take a deep breath and then I continue.
"Three coordinated strikes. This evening at nightfall. We have to kill those three alphas." I say, as I placed my hands firmly around Trixie.
Mark grins. "Now that sounds like a plan I can get behind."
"You always say that asshole." Kevan snorts and shakes his head.
I gesture to the screen. "Get get everyone on. Video conference now."
Within a few minutes, all of our Allied packs fill the wall. I feel everyone in on what just happened and what Conan and I both saw. I answer all of their questions. I hear their concerns. I think they understand the severity of this situation.
"Benjamin stays here." I say immediately. "So does Calvin. We need them for the battle at the palace in two days. Benjamin's the best with explosives. If Norman brings demolition, I want someone better." I say as I turn towards Benjamin.
Benjamin's mouth twitches. He rubs his hands together. "I do love blowing shit up."
"White Claw will hold the line." Calvin nods.
I shift the map. I look over it for a couple seconds, then back to the screen.
"Alpha Torrence and Alpha Larry. You both will be hitting the River Pack." They both nod in confirmation.
Torrence grins darkly. "Renaldo won't see sunrise."
I pause for a moment and then I continue.
"Alpha Trey, Alpha Draven. You both will slam into Dark Sea Pack."
Draven's eyes gleam. "Edwards overdue. Tonight another Alpha Falls." he says with certainty.
"That leaves Rudolph and Samuel. You both will take your packs against Dark Fang." Samuel nods grimly. Rudolph has an evil grin painted on his face.
"I already have the elders moving towards those three packs to step in and hold order as soon as the alpha falls." I say, as I flick my eyes across everyone in the room and on the screen.
"If we win these three battles. Then it's just Norman left with some scattered loyalists. He will then have to scramble as his plans will have to change." I say then I take a deep breath.
Trixie is still on my lap her thumb slowing as the pain finally eases.
The lights then flicker off and then back on. This time, thank God, it was just the lights and not the electricity.
""Tell your kids to chill." Mark laughs as he looks at Trixie.
"They don't like war talk." she huffs, and then lays her head on my chest.
"Smart kids." Darien mutters.
Kevan tilts his head. "Timing" he says as he arches a brow. "Nightfall" I say. "Fast and quiet. Hopefully everything turns out in our favor." I say, as I shake my head.
"So, it's a murder meeting, followed by a palace siege. Damn, what a busy week." Mark whistles lowly.
Laughter fills the room at Mark's antics. He sure knows how to cut through the tension.
"This path holds. I just saw another vision." Conan says. "I sure hope so." I say back to him.
Before we all break free from the meeting, we revise our plans for the battle in two days.
