CHAPTER TWENTY
Bella's POV
"How can she be asking me if my stay in the mansion is great? How can it be great when you assigned me this dirty work,huh! But I know what I will do to you just wait and watch me" I thought
I have to tell Terri about it, I'm so sure he knows about it, is this what he called me back here for? To work for his slut? Or should I say lover? Because if not so, how can he allow her to appoint this kind of work for me.
But what can I say, she knows that I don't have anybody to fight for me or is it that she just wants to punish me by giving me this kind of work, Did she want to ruin my skin? Terri must know, why did she allowed her to accept me if not because they want to punished and ruin my skin but I won't allow that. I grouchy hatefully
"What happen to you, why are you signing severally? Hope there's no problem" someone said suddenly
I looked at my back to see who's talking, I discovered that it's one of the maids which we're working together that said that.
"What do you hear? Do you hear me say anything?" I asked hear feigning ignorant
"Do you think I don't know who you are,i do know who you are, you're bella right? Don't be surprised that I know your name but I want you to know that I've know you since the incident that happened between you and Terri and I don't think what you did is bad, I actually love how you did that time and that's why I like you, I don't even know that I will see you again because since the last time I saw you, I have wanted to be your friend but that's if you don't mind? " the lady said boldly
" Really? Wow! That's good, thanks for that"i reply her
"I'm Melissa, but if you don't really mind, can we be friends? I mean real friends and I can help you to assist you in whatever you want to do"
"What do you mean by what I want to do, I don't understand you" I asked her hoping it's not what I'm thinking of
"I know what you want since you come back to this mansion, I know you want revenge and I can help you with it to make it faster" She winks
"I don't think I understand what you're talking about, what do you mean by revenge, please don't implicate me I just arrived at the mansion to reddem myself to the Queen, I don't know about what you're saying please" I said nervously hoping it's not one of the Queen's spy
"You see, you don't have to be afraid about that because I also want the same thing and let me tell you something she come closer to me and whispers to my ear " you know what, I saw you holds yesterday when you are going to the kitchen, don't let me say everything, I know you understand me and I also saw you with Terri, what do you think will happen if the Queen knows about it so don't think I'm one of the Queen's people, I'm also here to revenge on behalf of my late sister who the Queen kill" Melissa said
"Really, Do want me to trust you and you want me to accept you as my friend? If that's the case we have to swear a oath together so that you will not betray me and after that I will accept you as my friend" I told her
"Wow! I feel so happy right now, I thought you will turn my offer down, if it's oath there's nothing wrong in it and I'm ready for anything in sake of my late sister" she said feeling delighted
"Are you sure you can do it and don't forget that you want to fight a powerful person, you know she's a Queen so this tasks won't be easy for us, we have to sacrifice ourselves in order to accomplish this mission" I said
"I know and I'm ready to face anything that comes my way and I'm sure that we will tackle it together since we're friends now, is that not it?" She said smiling
Atlast I can seek revenge for my sister
Can I ask what your sister did that cause her death? I asked her
" I don't even know where to start from because I don't know if it's a crime to fall in love or it's a crime that your Queen is mateless? She's also a maid here in the mansion and that year that she was killed she was in love with someone which is also a slave here but since the Queen is mateless, she order that everybody who's in love or engaged to someone should be killed so that's how my sister was killed and I have promised her that I will seek revenge for her even if I lose my life in the process " she said teary
"Sorry about that, I can now see why you want revenge for your sister and I promise you that I will help you, let me even say that we will help ourselves to accomplish this mission" I told her
"Come let's finish this work fastly, there's no more time on our side again" the other maid says
"Let's us quickly finish up our work so that we will go to my room to discuss more on it" I said to her
"Alright, let's quickly do it fast before the head of maid get here and I don't want her to tell the Queen about it" she said to me
