Chapter 7 Find her
Edward pov .
Immediately she was out of sight I became furious ,I had so many thought running through my mind, when I arrived at my chambers and asked one of the guards stationed outside to call Samuel for me .
In less that than two seconds Samuel ran into to my chambers .
" My king you sent for me "
At first I was speechless because everything happened so fast I mean for the first time in my life I was so angry that I couldn't vent the anger on anything ,I just stood there staring at him .
" My king are you okay "
His voice was echoing in the room , everything she said to me was repeating itself just then Samuel's voice bought me out of my world of imagination .
" My king you sent for me "
"Samuel !!!"
I screamed out his name with a loud voice ,I could tell the whole castle was in a chaos .
" My king am standing right in front of you"
" Explain to me why the tax tripled "
' That was what I was trying to explain to you my king but you refused to listen to me ,I only found out about it today ,I was rushing to tell you about it before I saw you talking to one of the staffs "
" So why didn't you tell me when we where going to the court room "
" I tried to my king but it was too late because you never gave me any attention "
" Why are you still working here when you can't do anything right "
I was so angry that I slammed my hand on the table .
" Samuel oh Samuel you really don't know what I feel like doing to you right now ,do you know what this has costed me ,just imagine someone talking about you in your presence and you simply can't do anything about it Samuel you simply can fking do anything about it "
" I understand your majesty but you really have to handle this issue it may all so interest you to know that the lady you asked about her information earlier today ,her father was killed too because of this "
I took a deep breath and walked up to my wine stand pour my self a glass of wine and finished it at once .
" Tell me what did you find about her "
" Well my king she's the second and last daughter of her family ,her father was killed just because he refused to pay his tax ,and she has a sister called bethel ,she's beautiful , social and a very smart girl "
" I never asked you to give me details about her sister "
" Am just trying to make you see something good about her My king,she's beautiful and trust me she will make a fine que...."
He immediately swallowed the last word that was about to come out from his mouth .
" Am glad you had a rethink by swallowing your words or else the outcome would have been deadly "

He cleared his throat adjust his neck tie and continued with giving me the information I needed .
" My king she has someone she loves so much ,I guess it's her childhood friend they love each order "
" Love ...ah ...tell me Samuel don't be scared does love really exist "
The room became silent I could only heard someones heart beat but it was definitely not mine .
" Come on speak up I wouldn't hurt you I promise "
" I .. Really don't know what to say my king ,I don't know if I should lie to you or tell you the truth ,but I think I have trust issues when it comes to you making promises who know you can change your mind at any time "
" That was not the question I asked you '
" I know my king am still looking for the right answer to give so as not to get hurt "

" It depends on the angle you look at it for me those who till have a heart I think it's a yes for me and love does exist but for does whom heart are long dead example....."

I turned to look at him with both of my hands in my pockets ,I wasn't really listening to him at that point ,I was thinking of the best punishment to give to him .
" Well My king in summary love does exist ,you just have to open your heart to it and accept it wholeheartedly and watch how things go "

I was still talking to him when my mother walked into my chambers .
" Who are killing again "
We both turned to look at her direction .
" What are you doing here "
He turned towards Samuel and signalled him to leave us .
" I came to talk to my son "

" Why would you have to humiliate me like that today at the court room ?"
