When I arrived into the dinning room ,I everyone was seated except for Edward ,We had a full castle on like before , Lady Tracy and Randy sat at the opposite side of the dinning table , She focused all her attention on Randy not minding the discussion that lady Josephine ,and lady Grace were having .
I sat close to Bethel , She couldn't even wait for me to sit properly before she started asking me questions about Sir owen .
" Val who was that man "
" His nobody Bethel why are asking "
" Nothing much, I was just curious about what he wanted to talk to you about in private "
" It's nothing much Bethel and besides that's a past issues "
" You should be careful sister , You never can tell how the king will feel if you are accused of cheating "
" My husband is not some fool that will believe anything a stranger say to him "
' I Know but you have to be careful sis"
" Thanks for the advice Bethel ,I will put it into good use "

Finally Edward walked into the dinning room , The servants started serving the dishes .He sat down and was scanning the room to see if I was there.
When his finally found me ,He signalled me to come sit close to him . without protested, I quickly stood up and sat close to him .
Lunch was served and everyone started eating , Just then lady Grace decided to start a conversation .
" Edward ,I really missed you so much ,I could remember how we used to Play around when we were little ,it was funny "
She blushed at her own words
I Stopped eating , And poured myself a glass of water , I was waiting for Edward to reply her but he didn't say a word rather he was busy cutting the meat that was placed on my plate . The room because awkwardly silent , Lady Grace felt so embrassed .
She refused to give up ,So she tried again by bring up another conversation .
" Edward ,I Really don't know why you are rushing to get married ,I mean you have to get to know each order better ,With the rumors I heard ,I think you didn't court her for long before deciding to walk down the aisle "
Suddenly Edwards hand stopped moving ,He raised his head to look at her ,With a smile on his face .
" I see some people have become jobless , Lady Grace other than putting all your energy on me and my wife to be why don't you put that same energy into looking for suitor for yourself ,Age is not on your side you know "
When i heard the reply Edward gave her ,I almost burst into laughter but I held myself back , Lady Grace was beyond embrassed.
The atmosphere became tensed , Edward took a piece of meat from his plate fed me with it .
Lady Grace on the other hand felt like dying , She couldn't raise her head to look at us anymore , She concentrated on her food without saying a word.just then Lady Josephine decided to help her daughter .
" My lord , You shouldn't talk to Grace like that , And besides she's only a child . When I broke the News to Grace that we were coming to the palace ,she was so excited to meet you ..."
" Do I look like her father , Why would she be excited to meet me "
" Your majesty you are misunderstanding the whole thing , You know Grace had always liked you when she was little so it doesn't make any difference now " .
At this point I was already getting pissed off with there endless ranting,So I decided to end it once and for all .
" Lady Josephine , Am sure you know that in few days time the king will be getting married ,So you should be mindful of the things you say , If she had liked him then so what , If she had missed him then so what ? Please tell your daughter to kill whatsoever that is going on in the little head of hers.
Lastly before I forget , You should teach your daughter manners , Simply because they grew up together doesn't give her the right to call my husband by him name ,I hope this matter is clear "
" I wasn't talking to you lady Valerie ,I was having a word with my family , You are not yet the queen , You are already carrying yourself as one you should be careful not to step on the wrong toes ..."
Before she could finish her statement ,we heard a loud bang on the on the table .
" bang!!!"
" Lady Josephine .. You should mind the words you speak to your queen , You never can tell it might be used against you very soon "
"With...with all due respect My Lord ,You should put your wife in check simply because she's getting married to you doesn't give her the right to talk down on me , Secondly getting married is one thing but having children is another what will happen if your almighty wife here can't bear you an heir "
She turned to look at me with a smile on her face , I really don't know why but I felt disturbed ,I became restless . She didn't stop there instead he added more salt to the injury .
" Let me help you guess lady Valerie , It means the king will have to take another wife and you know what that means "
I felt the temperature dropped to zero decree ,I know Edward was angry but at this point I need to stop him from doing anything crazy ,I quickly wrapped my fingers around his ,He turned to look at me but I shake my head at him .
That didn't stop him from speaking his mind .
" Lady Josephine ,I appreciate you for coming to my wedding but what I wouldn't take is for you to insult my wife Right before me ,You should think before you speak ,and about children ,who told you I need children ?"
I was shocked by his statement .
" I promised my wife that I wouldn't kill anyone before or after our wedding don't let me make you the scapegoat, trust me it wouldn't be nice at all lady Josephine ,So I will advise you to be guarded with your words "

He wiped his mouth with the napkin laying on the table , Then stood up to leave . he turned to me and stretched out his hand for me to take .
" Come with me my queen ,I would like to take a walk with you "
Without wasting any more time ,I stood up held his hand and walked out of the dinning room with him.
