Chapter 29 Kiss me
Valerie pov :
Immediately that lady stepped into the dinning room ,I felt something strange but I tried to wave it off ,I continued with my food but my ears were listening to there conversation then When he asked her to wait at the waiting chambers my heart felt heavy .
" Why did he ask her to wait for him at the waiting chambers ? Why didn't he ask her to leave ? "
I kept asking myself does questions but at a point I came back to my senses . When he walked out of the dinning room to go meet lady Alice ,I really don't know what it was but I felt jealous , My heartbeat was increasing with ever step he took away from me ,I quietly placed my hand on my chest to stop my heart from exploding , When he left the dinning room I was lost in thoughts I felt like running after him
"Wait why am I having such feeling ,I ever liked him so what's happening to me why ?
I Quickly got up from the table and ran out of the dinning room ,I was walking through the hallway when my eyes caught a door that was not fully lock ,out of curiosity I decided to go check what's was happening there , When I got to the door I saw lady Alice and Edward having a conversation but I couldn't hear what they where saying .I was still struggling to listen to them, When the door was pulled open And I lost my balance , I Was about to fall when a strong hand held my waist .I waited to feel the impact of falling to the ground, But I didn't when I opened my eyes I saw king Edward staring right into eyes ,I felt so embarrassed , For some seconds I couldn't move .
When I finally came back to my senses I quickly pushed his hands away and stood up straight .
" Am sorry my Lord "
" You shouldn't be lady valerie ,I like it when my woman is jealous "
He wink at me ,I was so embrassed that my face turned red .
" What jealous ,I can never be jealous "
" Really so what are you doing here then listening to my conversation? "
" I..I..no.no not at all my king I wasn't listening to your conversation "
Suddenly I started laughing awkwardly ,i stopped laughing and bit my lip so i wouldn't say anything stupid .
' Don't worry about that val I understand , Anyways am bored take a walk with me I have something to discuss with my love '
He stretch out hands for me to hold on to but at first I was reluctant to take it, But no matter what I still have to ask about Eric so I held his hand and we started Walking into the garden . All eyes where on us but tried my best not to be concerned about it .
Immediately we arrived at the garden I quickly stopped walking and turned to him .
" You said you wanted to talk to me about something "
" Yes I did "
" So what is it all about "
" It about us val you know our marriage is less than two months "
" Yes exactly that "
" I know you never want this life but you find yourself living it , Don't worry about everything happening around you it's common you just have to get one thing straight that I want you and nothing more "
" That is where we have a problem I don't want you "
" Are you sure about that , Because from what I see your mouth is saying No, But your body is saying something else "

I stood still staring at his face he was so handsome, This was first time am getting a clearer view of his face ,hiys hair was combed backwards his eyes blue like the sea but deep that anyone will be lost in them .
I was still mesmerize by his looks why I heard him speak .
" Are you done staring or should I call the castle painter to give you one of my recent painting "
I quickly snapped out of my imagination .
" What !! Am sorry"
" You shouldn't be , Don't worry very soon you will get tired of seeing this face every minute of the day"
Suddenly I remembered I was suppose to ask him about Eric , Yes that was why I agreed to follow him here so I cleared my throat and opened my mouth to speak .
" Your majesty I..I..wanted to ask you a question "
" What is it about valerie "
" Well it about Eric "
Immediately I said Eric's name he snapped his head to look at me ,I could see the tension building up between the both of us .
" Am sorry your majesty, If i spoke out of tongue but I just wanted to know about him "

' Really you released him "
' I did because my woman asked me too , You know val his very lucky No one has ever spoken to me like that and lived to tell the story ,I released him because you asked me too but the next time he try sure nonsense again ,I will make sure I slit his throat myself "
I quickly swallowed my saliva

I was about to say something when he closed the gap between us and planted a kiss on my lips ,He took me by surprise ,I was short of words ,I tried to push him off but he didn't bulge , Then he placed his hands around my waist and drew me closer to himself slowly his tongue found his way into my mouth , At first I didn't know what to do but I started following his lead .
After some seconds he break away from the kiss .
" Your lips taste like strawberry , But we still have to work on your kiss , I will be leaving very soon , But I want you to be careful when am gone this castle is not for the weak val ,it's either it makes you or it breaks you be strong , You can ask samuel for anything he will help you out "
I was still trying to understand what just happened when he planted a kiss on my forehead and walked away , immediately he left I came back to my senses .
" Oh my God what just happened "
My hands where shaking ,I used them to touch my lips .
" Wait did he just kiss me ,ahhhhhhhh
