Chapter 27 I smell trouble

I heard the sound of birds chipping , But I can't bring myself to wake up ,I was still having a wonderful dream when a bright light reflexed into my room ,I struggle to wake up when I finally opened my eyes I was greeted by two maids .
" Good morning my lady "
" Good morning "
" My lady the king request your presence in the dinning room ,So please My lady you need to get dressed immediately "
I bit my lips and looked down ,I really was not in the mood to see him not today , Especially not his crazy family .
" I don't feel like going to the dinner room today, Please can you bring my breakfast to my room "
" You see my lady that's were we have a big problem , His majesty asked us to bring you to the dinner room , But if your refuse than he will come and dress you up himself "
" Huh "
Immediately she said does words ,I became speechless , The thought of it alone was something I never wished for it to happen .
I quickly got up from the bed and ran to bathroom , The maids ran inside the bathroom with me , They started taking off my clothes which made me feel uncomfortable . I had stopped them .
" Stop, Don't worry I will bath myself "
" My lady you have to be clean "
" Don't worry about me i never said I can't use my hands, Please wait for me outside when am done you can dress me up thank you "
They quietly left the bathroom , When noticed they were gone I quickly got into the water and took my bath ,I wrapped myself in a towel and stepped out of the bathroom. They were patiently waiting for me to come out , When I finally entered into my room , They started dressing me up quickly and in less that sixty minutes I was fully dressed ,I left my chambers and walked through the hallway to the dinner room , When I heard two maids gossiping .
" I really don't know why lady Benita was treated unfairly by the king , Infact she lived all her life for him ,Ever since that witch came into the castle things as gone from bad to worst , She's nothing but a whore, Who sneaked her way into the kings bed just to become the queen "
" Well I wouldn't be surprised if the king dumps her for another woman , She's nothing but a slot , She and her family came into this castle with plan and finally they have achieved it ."
I was completely shattered, Heavens knows I never wanted to be queen the weight will be too much for me to carry ,I just wanted a simple life with my Eric ,Speaking of which my mind went back to Eric, I really don't know what must have happened to him now .
I arrived at a huge door and the guards standing aside then opened the door for me to go in . When I entered the door was close behind me .I raised my head to look at the faces sitting in the dinning room they were all angry looking faces expect for one which held a smile on his face , But I quickly look away from him .I was about to sit when someone spoke.
" Thank the heavens you are finally here, I was thinking we should have sent a carriage to pick you up from your room maybe that would have be better "
" Mother please "
" Why should I stop, And besides tell me what are you still doing here can't you go back to your husband's house "
" Mother it's too early for this please let's just eat in peace "
I was about to sit when I heard a deep calm voice .
" Val come ..come sit with me "
I turned to look at the head of table, It was a little bit far from where I was standing "
" Don't worry my Lord ,I think am more comfortable sitting here "
I think my words fell on a deaf ear before I could say anything else someone held my hand and ushered me to the kings right hand side , When I say down my heart of beating loud on my chest , The maids came over to serve me breakfast , But I felt someone staring at me ,I tried so much not to say anything or look at the person , suddenly I felt someone touch I turned to see who it was , It was my little friend Randy
" Hey little man, how are you "
" Cool and you "
" Fine "
I was about to pick up my cutlery to start eating when my little friend spoke up again
" You look beautiful "
" Ahh thank you Randy "
He pull his plate over to me and took mine .
" Don't mind my uncle, I know sometimes he might pretend to be heartless , But I know he loves you so much "
" hahaha .."
I laughed awkwardly , It sounds strange that this demon here is in love but with who, I can never love a man like him never .I quickly grab a glass of water and started sipping from it
" My lady you can eat my food I will eat yours okay , But if you don't want my uncle am available I will be a good husband to you "
When I heard what this little boy said I almost chocked on the water I was drinking , It was funny and crazy at the same time . But I felt someone staring at him like as if his going to rip of this little boys head at anytime , I don't know why this little boy was so composed ,He behaved like he said nothing and that he wasn't scared of him .
I was about to put a stack of meat into my mouth , When samuel came to announce someone's presence .
" Your majesty ,lady Alice is here "
Immediately he made the announcement he left the room Randy who was eating stop and murmur some words that I heard clearly .
