Edwards pov.
I wasn't pleased with her response , She doesn't want me but I want her and I must keep her to Myself. No matter what happens .I was lost in deep thoughts when Samuel walked into my chambers .
" Your majesty , The queen will love to have a word with you "
" I see my mother has been released finally send her in "
I sat down with my leg crossed .
" Edward !! Edward !!"
" Mother ,I think it's time we has to put a boundary on how am being addressed in this castle "
" What do you mean by that "
" You already know what I mean don't waste my time tell me why are you here "
" Why Edward , Why did you bring that commoner into this castle ,I forbid her from staying her send her back "
" On who's order "
' My order Edward for Zeus sake. Am Your mother and I decide what is good and what is not good for you "
" Really ,I never gave you the power to decide what is good and what's not good for me , But let me make one thing clear to you mother , If you try to stand in my way of marrying that supposed commoner ,I won't hesitate to cut you down just like an unwanted tree "

' Tsk tsk ..Words mother, Mind your words, it can be consider as treason to the king ,I guess you know what that means "
" how can you be this cruel to your mother "
" My mother you say, If only you acted like one from the beginning we wouldn't be having this conversation ."
She was about to say something when Samuel walked in on us .
" My apologies your majesty but dinner is served "
" Oh Good I waited for so long , Please tell the maids to inform lady Valerie and make sure she appears at the dinning room"
" Yes my Lord "
I stood up and was about to leave when I turned to my mother .
" If you are done standing there, You make your way to the dinning table ,I wouldn't want to keep my wife and the future queen waiting "
" You will regret this Edward "
" Off course, I will but one thing I regret right now was not killing you when I had the chance to "

I really don't want to listen to the nonsense she had to say so I quickly made my way out of my chambers , And head towards the dinning room , Immediately I got to door the guards bowed there heads in greeting before opening the door , When I stepped in Randy ,Tracy was already seated but I couldn't find Valerie at the dinning table , I Was losing my temper but I had to keep calm ,So I sat at the head of the dinning table just then randy asked the maid to serve me a glass of water .
" Uncle you have to drink this so you can calm down , Because I know you are about to explode from the inside "
" Remind me again Randy, When are you leaving the palace "
" You know you are funny, But my mother said I can stay a little but longer "
" I don't think your mother has a say in such issues , She's married to your father so I think you mother needs to go back home with you to attend to your father's needs "
" Don't worry about that uncle, I believe he can take care of himself "
I became speechless ,I feel this little rat always know the answer to give at any questions been thrown at him just then a maid walked in with Samuel trailing beside her .
She wanted to speak but I could see she was scared , She couldn't even look at me she kept here head down .
" Speak "
" Your majesty , My lady refused to join us for dinner "
" Why !!".
" She said , She's not hungry and she refused to dress up too "

A little smile appeared on my lips, But no one understands what was running through my mind .
" Tell her that if she not seated here in the next thirty minutes ,I will come to that room and get her dressed myself ,I hope she understands what I mean .
" Yes..yes...yes ..my Lord "
The maid quickly ran off , Just then Tracy spoke up .
" Come on brother , Let's eat we are starving "
" We will have to wait for her to come before any meal on this table will be touched,"
Just then I heard the door opened and i turned to look at the entrance , instantly my face brightened up .It was Valerie , She walked into the dinning room with a long face ,I signalled the servants standing behind me to usher her a sit close to me .Tracy took and deep breath and murmured to herself .
" Finally we can now eat in peace "
She turned to look at me .
" Shall we "
I signalled the servants to being with the serving of the food, Just then my mother walked in .
" Just because I was late for dinner no one came to call me "
" That's because you were never hungry "
" Edward must you always reply me "
" Seeing your face makes me angry mother "
My sister was already pissed off she let out a scream .
" Can we eat in peace for Zeus sake "
The room became silent ,My mother turned to look at Valerie who was sitting at my right hand side .
" She's not even the queen yet she's already sitting next to the king ,hmm low life commoner "
Immediately she said those words ,I dropped the fork in my hand and picked up my glass of wine took a sip and dropped it back on the table again,
" Mother, I think you should be careful the way you speak while eating , remember what you use to say to us when we were little " Table manners ",Any thing can happen why you speak you might get choked on your food or by your saliva so be careful with your words "
Just then the door of the dinning room was opened ,A Messenger walked in and handed envelope to Samuel , Samuel turned to look at me and then to Valerie .
" Miss Valerie this letter is for you "
" Samuel read the letter before handing it over to miss Valerie , Make sure you read it loud "
" Yes my king "
He opened the letter , But was silent for some seconds before reading .
Dear Valerie .
How are you doing my love , Rumor has it that you have been held in the castle against your own free will , Please my love be safe ,I promise to come get you out from there very soon , Please val stay strong for me and remember I love you with everything in me

I stood up and left the dinning room with the envelope in my hand without saying a word.
