Chapter 10 Bethel the dreamer
Valerie pov .
When I finally got home my mother and bethel were no back yet , So I quickly went Into the kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone ,but I was lost in deep thoughts ,I Really don't know what happened to Eric .He promised to wait for me but I really don't know why all of a sudden he wanted sx badly .
I kept murmuring words to my self . Just then bethel walked in .
" Val what's the matter "
I was lost in thought that I didn't hear when she called out to me she tapped my shoulder .
" Valerie , Valerie "
Immediately I heard her voice I quickly came back from my thoughts .
" Oh my God bethel you scared me "
" Sorry about that ,But I saw you talking to yourself so I really wanted to know what happened ,Did you see Eric "
" Oh yes I did but there was something strange about him "
" Strange what could that be "
" When I met him at his working place he started demanding for sx"
" What are you serious ,Haha oh my God you should have given it to him anyways he has been your boyfriend for over 2years now don't tell me you guys haven't done it yet "
" Well Thank you for being a pain in my ass and secondly No we haven't done it yet we decided to wait till after our wedding to consummate our relationship "
" Ah Val wake up from your world of imagination no man will want to wait for a woman ,He has blood running through his veins for crying out loud how do you think his going to cope with that fact that his girlfriend is beautiful ,and have a good body shape but they can't have sx my dear sister please just think about it and give him what he wants to avoid problems later on the future "
" Bethel you really sucks, Instead of you to avoid me to keep myself , You want me to sleep with him just because his asking me too "

I was about to reply her when my mother walked in .
" What are you girl up to this time around "
" Nothing mama , Just talking about work "
" Valerie where were you today ,I didn't see you after work today at the castle "
" Am sorry mother I decided to come back home to make dinner for us also I know you will be tried after having a stressful day "
" Good "
She didn't say any order word she left us and walked up stairs into her room .I turned to Bethel who was standing beside me .
" Bethel have you noticed that mother has been isolating herself from us of late "
" Don't worry she will be fine I guess dad's death is still a shock to her "
" Yeah your right "
I asked bethel ,To help me so we can prepare the table for dinner , After that I called my mother to join us.we peaceful as a family and we all retired to our bed .
I woke up early the next morning and prepared breakfast for everyone immediately ,I finished setting the table my mother came downstairs .
" Valerie why are you not ready yet "
" Mother I don't feel.like going to the castle today "
" Why don't you feel like going to castle today ,we still have some work that are yet to be done "
" Please mother can I stay at home for today am not feeling too well "
" No Valerie go get dressed we need to work , And besides I can't pay the bills alone you know your father left us with nothing so you all really need to help out here so we can clear off our debt "
For some reason I felt bad ,I really don't know why but I don't want to go to that castle today because I really don't want to see that strangers face he scares me .
" Valerie go and get dressed we are waiting for you "
" Okay mother "
,I got into the room changed into something simple and came downstairs ,when we finished having breakfast ,we decided to head straight to the castle ,I prayed dearly in my heart that I shouldn't come face to face with that man today , Be should incase I meet him at the palace ,I will have to pretend I never have ever seen him before. Yes I think that's the best idea so far .
In no time we arrived at the castle as usual the guards checked us to see is we had weapon on us ,aftyer we were check ,he granted us access to the castle we met lady Theresa who assisted us to our various duties .
Work began and I was happy that I didn't get to see him today ,I concentrated on my work to avoid getting into problem because I have been talking too much of lately , Bethel was assisted to the kitchen again ,she was really not happy about it but she had no choice than to do it I really felt bad for her .
I was busy cleaning the stairs when I heard someone feet step ,I thought it was passing by but in a second I could see a shadow covering me ,I turned to see who it was .
" Boom!! surprise "
Oh my God it's him why do I always have to meet this guy over and over again .
" You again "
" Yes me again , Good Afternoon My lady "
" What do you want and why are you here "
" I work here too remember "
" What ! you never told me you work here "
" Well I guess am just telling you now, So I will have to be seeing your beautiful face every day"

I was about to leave when he grabbed my hand .

I quickly let go of my hand and was about to leave when I turned to look at him .

I picked up my bucket,Mobbing stick and quickly ran as fast as my legs could carry me.
