Chapter 627: Azureflame Bulwark
While the outside world was buzzing with discussions about Guild of Aether Wing clearing Raven Ruins for the first time, Eric was still sorting through the loot dropped by Azureflame Raven King.
System: First clear of Infernal-level Raven Ruins, drop rate increased by 100%.
Using Divine Blessing to kill Azureflame Raven King would already yield plenty of good stuff, but now with the 100% drop rate increase, the ground was covered with loot. At a glance, there were definitely over thirty items, though most were various rare materials.
"Is this what drops from Infernal-level large-scale raid dungeons?" Tonny's jaw dropped, his eyes gleaming.
Although Eric hadn't identified them yet, just from their cool appearance and intricate magic patterns, you could tell these weapons and equipment were something special - definitely not comparable to Mithril Level gear.
Plus, Azureflame Raven King was a level 30 Grand Lord, so all the dropped equipment was level 30. For members wearing level 25 gear, this was quite tempting.
The guild had plenty of level 30 equipment, since most main team members were level 29 or 30 and could already run six-player dungeons and level 30 ten-player and twenty-player raids.
But the equipment quality from those dungeons wasn't great - usually Bronze Level or Dark Iron Level, rarely Mithril Level or above. Keep in mind that a 5-level increase in equipment level equals one quality tier upgrade. If you could wear level 30 Adamantite Level Equipment, it would be equivalent to level 25 Obsidian Level Equipment.
If you wore level 30 Obsidian Level Equipment, it would be like wearing level 25 gear with stats very close to Epic Level.
Currently, the best equipment in major guilds was level 25 Adamantite Level quality, rarely Obsidian Level, plus level 30 Mithril Level and very rare Adamantite Level. If someone had level 30 Obsidian Level Equipment now, it would absolutely be top-tier gear, second only to Epic Level equipment and Tier 1 sets.
While player combat skills were important, base stats mattered just as much.
Right now, with a Grand Lord Boss killed and a 100% drop rate increase, getting some level 30 Obsidian Level equipment was perfectly normal.
After Eric collected all the items, he started identifying the equipment one by one, while Rosewater distributed guild contribution points for defeating the boss. Any equipment dropped in the dungeon could be purchased first by raid members using guild contribution points. If no one wanted it, it would be placed in the guild warehouse at a reasonable high price for other guild members to exchange.
Defeating a Grand Lord boss gave everyone quite a few contribution points, but no one cared about those points right now. All attention was on Eric, and everyone was prepared to spend big.
As drops from an Infernal-level large-scale raid dungeon, except for a few players in the main team like FlameDancer, Rosewater, Violet Mistflow, Cola, Evan Hotcher, Tonny, SilentWind and others who didn't really need upgrades, everyone else's equipment was far inferior. These people's equipment were Tier 1 sets given by Eric - the best equipment for Tier 1 classes, second only to Epic Level sets.
They wouldn't need to change equipment until they advanced to Tier 2 classes, unless they could get Epic Level equipment.
Soon Eric finished identifying all the items.
33 items total, with 19 being materials. There were 8 Sorcerous Crystals, Beast Wood for building beast pens, Magic Source Essence for constructing magic teleportation arrays, and so on. These were super rare materials that wouldn't necessarily drop even from defeating a Grand Lord boss normally. Getting two or three of each now was incredibly lucky.
"The benefits of first clearing Infernal-level are huge - even Azureflame Raven King's entire stash dropped." Eric looked at the weapons and equipment in his bag and couldn't help but smile.
"Guild leader, what good stuff did we get to make you so happy?" Rosewater knew Eric's standards were among the highest in Eldoria Kingdom. For Eric to be satisfied meant the items must be really, really good.
"Yeah, guild leader, hurry up and share the stats!" Although Tonny already had an Epic Level staff, he still loved looking at top-tier weapon and equipment stats.
"I won't say much, let me show you this item first." Eric pulled out a deep red greatsword wreathed in faint blue flames. Not only was it incredibly cool-looking, it also gave off an unusually fearsome aura.
Azureflame Greatsword, Greatsword, Obsidian Level, Equipment Level 30-35.
Attack +702 (level 30)
Strength +54, Agility +41, Stamina +44, Attack Speed +2.
30% chance on attack to trigger Azureflame attack, dealing an additional 120% fire damage to the target and reducing their defense by 30% for 7 seconds. 20% chance to deal double damage. 10% chance to trigger Azureflame Dance, dealing 300% fire damage in a cone area in front, ignoring +10 levels.
Although Azureflame Greatsword had no active skills, it had many passive skills. Its attack power alone was even higher than the level 30 Abyssal Blade - a pure damage-dealing powerhouse weapon.
After seeing Azureflame Greatsword's stats, everyone gasped.
"Holy crap, even Epic Level weapons are just like this!" Tonny was stunned. He had an Epic Level weapon himself, so he could immediately tell that Azureflame Greatsword was an extremely top-tier weapon, absolutely on the same level as FlameDancer's Truefire Blade.
If a Berserker wielded this Azureflame Greatsword, their DPS would immediately skyrocket several levels to catch up with FlameDancer.
Plus, Azureflame Greatsword could be upgraded to level 35. Even among level 40 weapons, it would be top-tier. That meant you could use Azureflame Greatsword all the way to level 40 without needing to change weapons.
Immediately, the team's Berserkers were breathing heavily, staring at Azureflame Greatsword with longing eyes.
"Such powerful stats - just this one sword could make a Berserker's damage output reach top-tier levels." Even FlameDancer sighed in admiration.
"Don't get too excited yet - Azureflame Greatsword is only the third-best item from this drop." Eric shook his head with a smile and pulled out a red-black round shield from his bag. "This is the second-best piece of equipment."
Hearing Eric say this, everyone was shocked.
Such a top-tier Azureflame Greatsword wasn't even the best drop this time - it seemed unbelievable.
The red-black round shield wasn't large, only about a third the size of a normal shield. But on the shield's surface was carved an image of Azureflame Raven King, surrounded by numerous Sorcery markings. Clearly this was no simple shield.
Azureflame Bulwark, Shield, Obsidian Level, Equipment Level 30-35, Equipment Requirements: 200 Strength, 20 Fire Resistance.
Defense 1950, Defense Rate 42%, Strength +31, Stamina +47, Dodge +15, Attack Speed +2. (level 30)
