Chapter 104: "You're Beautiful Enough to Fascinate Me"
Sophia's Perspective
It took me a full minute to understand what Alpha Ellis was saying.
I would replace Caroline as his mistress, and he would allow Caroline's child to be born safely.
"Except for the Luna's reputation, I can give you everything else you want—houses, money, power. Everything my two sons can give you, I can give you too."
He continued negotiating with me, his face bearing a smug and confident expression.
Go to hell! I like the Ellis Brothers but not for their money!
I spat at him: "Dream on! You know what? I look down on old men."
Seeing his lecherous and vile gaze, and thinking about what he had done to Caroline, my stomach churned and I couldn't help but want to vomit.
His expression suddenly turned very ugly.
He was a reigning Alpha, more powerful than either of the Ellis brothers. No one had ever dared to defy him like this.
"It seems our negotiation has broken down." He narrowed his eyes, his voice carrying an implicit threat.
"Don't forget, Caroline is carrying your child. The pack's people would never accept a leader who kills his own child."
I couldn't move at all now. My bones ached from the cold as Alpha Ellis controlled me with his Alpha aura. Cold sweat seeped from my pores.
Damn! This demon simply didn't respect the pack's laws.
He had used private punishment on the Ellis brothers, nearly killed Fabian, and now he wanted to cruelly abort the child in Caroline's belly!
His gaze became very dangerous: "Are you threatening me? Naive Omega."
"I'm just telling the truth." I stared at him coldly, using my last bit of strength.
I wished I could let all the people know his true face right now. He wasn't worthy of being our leader!
"Your truth might prevent you from walking out of this coffee shop alive."
He suddenly grabbed my throat with his hand. My feet almost left the ground, and due to lack of fresh air, my face quickly turned red.
"Beg me for mercy, and I'll spare you." The corner of his mouth curved into a cruel smile.
The fear of approaching death quickly enveloped me. Survival instinct made me reach out and grab the Alpha's arm. My nails dug into the flesh of his arm, but he didn't even frown.
I hated my own weakness—I wasn't strong enough to resist him.
But I still refused to compromise with him, because the result of compromise would be pushing myself into an abyss. If the Ellis brothers knew I agreed to be their father's mistress, they would definitely be disappointed in me.
Marcus had always hoped I could be a strong and unyielding werewolf, even if I was just an Omega.
Just as I was about to give up resistance, the Alpha suddenly clicked his tongue and released my throat.
A large amount of air rushed into my lungs. I collapsed to the ground, coughing violently.
The Alpha crouched down, his eyes showing false compassion: "Poor Omega, how could I bear to kill you? You're too beautiful, beautiful enough to fascinate me."
I only felt sick, but I had no way to fight back.
He picked me up, walked out of the coffee shop, threw me into the back seat of a car. The car door slammed shut with a "bang," and the vehicle drove away from the coffee shop.
My heart sank bit by bit into despair. Where would the Alpha take me? I didn't know, but I knew that place would be extremely secretive. Even the Ellis brothers might not be able to find me.
Just as I was silently thinking of countermeasures, the rear of the car was heavily hit. I lost control and fell forward.
"Shit!" Alpha Ellis cursed, his eyes showing fierce light.
The car stopped, and the atmosphere became very tense.
I looked back through the car window and saw a familiar vehicle. My heart suddenly came alive, beating wildly uncontrollably.
It was the Ellis brothers' car.
Although I didn't know how they found me, thank God, I saw hope.
Obviously, I was happy too early. The Alpha was surrounded by guards, and intense fighting sounds quickly came from outside the car, along with the sounds of terrified pedestrians fleeing.
After Alpha Ellis got out of the car, I took advantage of the chaos to knock out the guard in the front seat and quickly jumped out.
Theo and Logan had already transformed into wolf form and were fighting with the guards.
Theo's wolf body was huge and mighty, his wolf eyes burning with angry flames, fangs exposed, emitting low growls.
His movements were swift and precise. Each pounce carried deadly force. Those guards seemed so small in front of him.
Logan's wolf body was equally majestic, with dark brown fur. He coordinated with Theo, attacking from both sides.
They were like two perfect killing machines, taking down the guards one by one.
I wanted to run toward Fabian but was controlled by Alpha Ellis.
"I didn't expect you to come so quickly." The Alpha sneered, one hand tightly gripping my wrist. "But do you think you can snatch her from my hands?"
At this moment, Fabian slowly stepped forward. His expression was terrifyingly calm, holding a black pistol in his hand.
His voice was calm and cold: "Father, guess what's in this gun?"
Alpha Ellis's expression changed instantly. He stared at the gun in Fabian's hand, a barely noticeable fear flashing in his eyes.
Silver bullets could quickly destroy a werewolf's body—this was the most deadly weapon in the werewolf world.
The Alpha didn't have a gun. He never expected that the Ellis brothers would arrive in time to save me and would be willing to become enemies with him, their father, for my sake.
Alpha Ellis frowned: "Fabian, are you going to kill your father in the street?"
Fabian's face showed no expression: "When you poisoned me, weren't you also killing your own son?"
His voice was as cold as ice, each word carrying bone-chilling coldness.
Theo and Logan had already dealt with all the guards. They transformed back into human form, radiating powerful Alpha auras.
Alpha Ellis looked around and found himself completely surrounded.
"Are you really going to be my enemies for an Omega?" he struggled one last time.
"She's not just an Omega. She's our woman," Logan said.
Fabian pointed the gun at Alpha Ellis's heart, his finger lightly touching the trigger.
Alpha Ellis finally felt fear. He slowly released my wrist.
I quickly threw myself into Fabian's arms, and he held me with one arm.
We got in the car and left that place, leaving Alpha Ellis standing alone, his face terrifyingly grim.
