Chapter 62: Finding Natalie

Norwan went to his car and dialed Natalie’s number; he kept on calling her until no one answered his call. He is worried now, and there is some part of him that he has a bad feeling that something is happening to Natalie now.

“Fuck! Where are you?” He asked and tried to call Natalie again, but still no one answered him. He started to drive his car and went to Natalie’s office. He can’t stop himself not to worry for some reason.

“Is Natalie here?” He asks as soon as he gets to the building reception. The woman in charge there looks for Natalie’s schedule before she looks up to Norwan again.

“Ms Natalie is not here and she hasn’t arrived yet. She also doesn’t have any meetings now since she canceled all of it.” The woman said, so Norwan close his eyes because of disappointment. He doesn’t know what to do and where to find Natalie. Norwan grabbed his phone again and tried to call Natalie, but there was no one to answer so, he thought of something where he thought Natalie had gone. He frowned as soon as he remembered what his maid had said to him earlier.

“Cora.” He said and went to his car and started the engine. He quickly drove to Cora’s place, where he thought Natalie went there.

“Why is she looking for Cora anyway?” He asks while driving. He looked at his phone quickly and dialed Natalie’s number again, seeking and praying that Natalie would answer it.

As soon as he arrived at Cora’s place, he went out to his car and went to the gate to press the doorbell. He then wait for a minute before Cora open the gate.

“Norwan.” Cora greeted them while looking at and smiling at Norwan; he looked at her coldly and looked inside her house before he looked at Cora once again.

“Did you miss me already?” She asked, but Norwan ignored her question. Instead, he grabbed her arms aggressively and frowned at her.

“Did Natalie go here?” He asks, so Cora frowns and chuckles at him.

“When did I become a lost and found place, Norwan?” Cora asks sarcastically, which causes Norwan to frown at her. “And why will she go here?” she asked again, so Norwan let her arms go.

“I’m supposed to be the one who you're looking for, Norwan,” Cora said and started to seduce Norwan, but he pushed her away and went inside her house.

“Hey! You’re trespassing on my property.” Cora said and followed Norwan. She then blocked him and slapped him hard while looking at him madly.

“What do you think you’re doing, Norwan?” Cora ask. “You’re scaring me!” She yelled, but Norwan ignored her. There is something strange, and Norwan felt it. He could also sense that Natalie was in this house, but he couldn’t find her.

“All of the sudden you will come in my property and ask me if Natalie went here, ate you insane to think that she will go here?” Cora asked, so Norwan looked at her.

“Stop the bullshit, Cora. I can sense that Natalie is here. You can’t fucking fool me.” He said, so Cora laughed at him sarcastically and crossed her arms.

“Really? Then go, find her here Norwan.” Cora said while looking seriously at Norwan. He then started to look for Natalie inside Cora’s house. He went to the rooms and opened them one by one, to the closet, to the attic, to the basement and even in the backyard, but he couldn’t find Natalie at all.

“What the fuck” he whispered after he went to all sides of Cora’s house, but he couldn’t find Natalie. He closes his eyes and starts to smell the surroundings as he still smells the scent of Natalie.

“I know she’s here, but where?” Norwan asks himself and opens his eyes. He looks at his back and sees Cora, who is watching him.

“I am now offended by what you’re doing, Norwan,” Cora said as he looked closer at her.

“You are looking for my rival inside of my house, did you ever thought that I will kidnapped her like that and make her hostage? How insane.” she said, so Norwan looked at her eyes and observed her expression.

“My maid told me that Natalie is looking for you,” Norwan said, so Cora laughed and narrowed her brows at him.

“Really? Why though?” She asked, pretending that she didn’t know why.

“I don’t know, and I don’t care. All I care is to find Natalie.” He answered, so Cora chuckled and shook her head.

“I don’t know why you’re doing this, but I am really offended by what you’re doing, Norwan.” She said and sighed. “I was thinking that you will went here, apologize to me and begs me to come back but no, you’re looking for your Ex-Luna inside of my house, do you think I am that bad enough?” She asked, so Norwan didn’t answer her.

“Norwan, wake up! Natalie is the one who is wicked here. She killed my baby and pushed me on the cliff. She even do that to her own friend.” Cora said, so Norwan just rolled his eyes at her.

“Why did you suddenly became so concern to your killer Ex, she is even the reason why we broke up! She’s just pretending that she’s nice and all—“

“Stop the crap, Cora!” Norwan shouted, which caused Cora to stop.

“I know that she is not that kind of woman. She is far different from what you’re saying. Do you know what I regretted the most? Is that I believe in your goddamn drama and choose you over my wife.” Norwan said, so Cora laughed as if he said something to joke.

“Really? Then fuck you, Norwan, for treating me like a princess at first, but at last, you fucking treat me like shit!” Cora said while looking at Norwan.

“I fucking give everything to you. I even give up my career just to support you but what did you just did to me?!” Cora asked while her tears were about to form in her eyes.

“All I do is to understand you, but why can’t you understand me that I am hurting when you’re with your ex? And even choose her now than me!” She added.

“You’re so being dramatic again, Cora.” Norwan said and walked to the exit when he saw something not far from where he was standing.

“I am not done talking to you, Norwan!” Cora said who followed him.

“Let’s talk about us, Norwan.” She said and touched Norwan, but he pushed her away and looked at her with angry eyes.

“Why the fuck Natalie’s car is in your side yard?!”
