"That's why we're taking the golf cart." Vicki had lead us to a shed and inside were several motorized golf carts. We took off and started the tour. The place was huge and a little daunting. "I don't mean to be nosy, but how do you all afford this place? I mean you say that you are all self sufficient so that you don't have to leave the property." "Well we invest in real estate, and Colin has several internet businesses one of the most lucrative is stock brokerage firm." "Colin is like the guy in charge here?" "Yes you can say. Dylan is his right hand man. He took over since Colin has been missing." "So that means you are kinda like the one in charge of the women?" "I supervise where ever its needed. But my job is the principal of the school." "I'm sorry did I take you away from work?" "Don't worry about it. It was a welcomed break. It was my privilege to show you around." We stopped at the shop which actually turned out to be a shop. It was like a department store of sorts only you didn't need money. "Hi Amber, this is Celeste and as you can see she needs a new wardrobe. Can't have her walking around in Colin's clothes forever." "So I'm staying in Colin's room?" well there is another answer to one of my questions earlier. "Yea, I'm sure he won't mind. In fact I know he would insist that you stay there. Saving his life and all." "Are you sure." I was a little hesitant knowing that i was staying in room of the guy who ran this place. "What about his wife or girlfriend?" Vicki and Amber paused and both looked at each other for a moment. "Colin's does not have a wife or girlfriend." Vicki's voice sounded a little sad so I didn't ask anymore questions on that subject. After trying on several outfits, Vicki asked Amber to pack everything up and send it all to Colin's room. I hope that they find Colin soon, and when they did I had to make sure I was put in another room. Now that I had a new wardrobe that included, jeans, shirts, underwear, shoes, and a few dresses, with a couple of accessories, we continue our tour. We got to a set of buildings that were together that turned out to be the bowling alley and the theater. As we entered the theater which turned out to be the size of a movie theater that could house over two hundred people. I walked up the stage drawn to the baby grand piano, it was a piece of art. I lightly ran my fingers over it and raised the lid skimming over the beautiful ivories that were beckoning me to play. I closed my eyes to stem the tide of memories and tears swarmed behind my eyelids. "Celeste, do you play?" I stood for a moment my back to Vicki trying to compose myself. I wipe away a few of the escaping tears. "Not anymore." I closed the lid and quickly left the stage and exited the building. The pressure was building in my chest as I tried to stop the overflow of emotion that threaten to suck me in. A hand on shoulder reminded me that I was not alone. "Hey, are you ok?" I inhaled deeply keeping my eyes closed. "I will be. Can we head back." I was mentally done. All I wanted to do was curl up in the bed and lay in the darkness and forget. "Of course." The ride back to the main house was quiet with Vicki shooting a couple of worried looks my way. I stared down at my folded hands in my lap trying to think of anything that would take my mind off the past. Maybe going upstairs shutting myself away wasn't such a good idea. I needed to do something to keep my mind off my memories. We reentered the house the same way we left and I could hear the frantic sounds coming from the kitchen. "Is it always like that before meal time?" "Yea, Tracy runs a tight kitchen but they go kinda crazy right before service. Dinner can be chaotic when feeding so many people." "I've already eaten, do you think I can help serve?"
