Chapter 40 His Unconditional and powerful love for her
Ezra took her into his arms and ran as fast as his legs could take him.
"Esperanza, open your eyes." His body was trembling, and he was running with stumbling feet.
He took her into his room, and he found her temperature was rising and her skin was all red.
"Raymond, call the healer," he shouted, and his troop nodded.
"Where is he?" He asked.
"King Wayne has been injured, my king," that troop said.
"Call him now, right now," Ezra roared, and that man runs.
After a while, Raymond appeared with that healer; he took all the accounts of her body, and Ezra tried not to look at her situation.
"What did he do to her?" Ezra asked.
"My lord, he does nothing, but he has confirmed one thing," he let out with wide-open eyes.
"What?" Ezra roared again.
That human is the golden dragon, and she is going to transform at any instance," Raymond said, and Ezra went quiet.
"I know this, " Ezra replied, " do not tell me anything," and waited for the healer to conduct her examination.
"Again there is nothing," Healer said.
"Then what is happening to her, and why is her whole body flushed?" Ezra asked furiously.
"My King, maybe there is something that is not damaging to her and her body," the healer said.
"You are not here to tell me some perspective about something that is not related to your work. I need to know what she is experiencing." Ezra growled.
"My... My king, I am oblivious," the healer replied while hesitating.
"Then get out of here," he growled, and the healer ran out.
"My king, this is not because she has some kind of disease, she is experiencing the fact of being the golden dragon,"
"Her body is resisting but she needs to get this out and transform into those creatures,"
"We do not know what is prohibiting her, but she needs to overcome it," Raymond explained.
"Get out of here," Ezra said, and with those words, Raymond left the room.
He was in extreme despair after hearing that she was in love with someone else, and all of these situations were aggravating his situation.
"Why did you do this to yourself?" He held her hand and closed his eyes while sitting next to her bed.
"I know I am hurt, but this is not your fault." A tear rolled down his cheek, and Esperanza was able to recognize all his feelings.
Again, she was in that red room, where everything was quite blurry.
" Ezra," she felt his tears and pain.
" I respect it," she let out and tears started to fall from her eyes.
"I feel you, my daughter." Again, that melodious voice touched her ears and fetched all her engrossment.
"Mother is that you?" She asked.
" Yes, this is me. Today, you were so close to me," she answered back.
" I cluttered everything, I felt out of force that time," Esperanza said with great dejection.
" Oh my precious daughter, you do not have to be upset about it, you need to calm down, "
" This will happen someday, this needs to happen," That voice let out affably.
" And that was just a pint of your powers, you have no idea what you can do," she said and Esperanza wiped her cheeks.
" That's my strong girl, you are just going to achieve your irresistible powers very soon," she said and Esperanza felt determined.
"My eyes are craving to see you, my hands are entreated to hold you," she said and the sorrow was clear in her voice.
"Mother, you do not have to worry, I am coming to you," she said and that voice stumbled.
" What are you saying, Esperanza? You cannot be here," she said, and Esperanza frowned.
"Why? I want to see you, I know you are alive," Esperanza retorted.
"No, Esperanza, if you try to get here, then your enemies will come to chase you again," she said, and Esperanza frowned.
"You are safe here, but going out of here could cost you your life," That voice said.
" Why? Why this is going to take place like that? Why do I have to die?" She was confused.
" Because it's been written that way, they will absorb your powers, and will let you suffer," She said.
" But who?" Esperanza asked in great wobder.
"Those demons," she let out and Esperanza got stuck in her place.
" The psychic demon Dragons," She let out.
" But Ezra's family had killed all of them centuries before, I have heard him saying that," Esperanza said with a tight smile.
"Not all of them, there is someone thriving in the dark waiting for the golden dragon to awake," the voice was creating a suspense.
