Chapter 122 Hello dear ex's
Ravyen's POV
Jack tries to pull away from the SUV, but the thug has wrapped his end of the chain around the body of the SUV in between the front passenger window and the back window.
It’s a tug of war as he can’t pull away.
"I'd take over, handle the boss" Frank gestured and their quickly swap and Jack met me at the back. He was holding a first aid kit, ready to stitch my injury until we leave this place.
"Shit it's so serious!" He panics and I pants softly. I saw his eyes widen at my shot. He was a medical student who dropped out and decided to venture into the criminal lifestyle.
I grabbed his neck in anger as his hands were trembling.
"If you'd be a wimp then don't treat it!"
We were tossed to and fro, due to the force of the car. Jack hits his back on the window and winced.
"I'd treat it!" He said as his hair fell over his face. Quickly, he got to work in treating me. Shit! It burns. I clenched my teeth as the pain around there was growing wild due to the pressure he applied.
I looked forward and got stunned to see a large bridge approaching. The metal bridge structure towers above the road with a raging river belong and the two cars were approaching the bridge.
We were seeing it!
Frank struggles to break out too, then I shifted my gaze to the thugs.
The thugs in the SUV look forward and see the bridge. Their expressions are as menacing as ever. Almost as if they are welcoming the possible collision.
Pathetic!
Frank grasps the wheel tight and puts on his seat belt. He has a plan. He always do and that's why I can't fire him yet.
As the SUV and BMW drive quickly in the middle of the road, approaching the opening structure of the bridge at dangerous speeds,
Frank suddenly slams the BMW into the side of the SUV with brute force, forcing it into metal beams at the entrance of the bridge. The SUV crashed into the structure instantly.
For a brief moment, we looks safe until the chain attached to the grappling hook tightens Jack screeches as the chain pulls us. I wasn't scared because I've got to find Arianna in one piece.
Hastily, I moved to the front, trying to break off the knot to avoid crashing with them.
Fortunately that works and Frank reversed with full speed, causing our body to bang hard on the seat.
Whenever Frank drives, I always put on my seatbelts.
"Ready?" He mutters to me as I gasped softly. I knew what that means, we were ready for a rough ride.
Jack has thrown up as he was screaming no!
Almost immediately, Frank mounted the accelerator, swivel around and took us off road with grave speed.
We arrived at the airport right in time to depart for Sicily. By the time we arrived, it was dawn there.
Obviously, Frank was persistent i get treated by no, I won't not when Arianna's hurt.
Arianna's POV
Few hours ago
The doorbell rang, I was excited with intension that kylian was here, however, when I got the door opened, I was greeted by an unfamiliar faces.
I panicked and tried to slam the door back when he pulled out. I screamed, wrestling but surprisingly, there was no one to aid me.
I was able to wretch out of his hold, trying to my room and hastening my footsteps. It seems useless because all of a sudden, everyone went on extinction.
Then I saw her, my maid, I stretched my hand at her, hoping she'd aid me and she did. She hide me in the basement and when I panicked to try and reach ravyen through calls.
I felt it, a sharp pain around my neck that got my whole body paralyzed. Slowly I turned to look at who did that. She was the one! She had stabbed me with an injection.
I gaggled as my eyes shut down and all I could feel was my body being lifted.
I didn't know how long I was napped out but something cold poured on. It was freezing and obviously water raining on me.
I shuddered, almost suffocating and having to inhaling much air. Whosoever did the pouring paused when i spurred my eyes opened.
Everything still look puzzling and confusing. I was soaked but more of fear as my eyes were blurry. However, I heard the sound of heels, approaching me.
I felt up tighten, struggling to see clearly who that was.
However, her voice said it all; Elena.
"Hello dear ex"
Her voice jolt me back to reality and I was scampering for air.
Oh no, she has everything stationed and I was burning in fury.
"What! Elena?" I barked with so much hate in my heart. Like though she had been waiting for this moment, she slapped me.
My face flung aside as I clenched my teeth. She leaned her face forward with an evil chuckle. A man who stood with a baton handed it to her, she didn't come alone.
"Oh, how have you been faring dear?" She mocked and aggressively held my cheeks, fung my face to take a look at her.
I spat on her, furious as she stared at me in shock.
She used her feet to kick my legs and I winced. My head bow low as I wondered why she was alone and Ivan wasn't here. What's so into her and this fight is between Ivan and I!
They weren't really related except that they were cousins!
"Watch how I beat you to pulp!" She screeches drawing my attention to her.
"Where's Ivan!" I snarled glaring at her. He had so much questions to answer, mostly about my inheritance that seems like a difficult puzzle to crack.
"Fuck you for calling his name!" She retorts and used the baton on my head.
For a moment, I felt dizzy and an excruciating pain coursing through my head and before I could think of anything else, she used it on my back.
