Chapter 111 Don't worry
Arianna POV
Rayven assisted me in opening the door. We were just arriving from the hospital.
He had uncontrollable smiles on his face. I could tell that he was excited to hear the news from the doctor we went to see.
I was also excited to hear the information that I am pregnant.
He assisted me in walking to sit gently on the couch.
Gosh! He's really over reacting now. I'm not even heavy yet.
I bet he'd get tired of this new habit once that happens.
He excused himself, stating that he would prepare something for me to eat as he suspected that I am hungry.
To be honest, I was exhausted and hungry too.
My stomach only grumbles when he mentioned the word 'hungry'.
With a smile, I affirmed to his decision to go.
I walk away to the bathroom to have a shower as soon as he was gone. I wanted to freshen up at least to take away that exhaustive feeling.
I took out my clothes and stood under the shower.
I made a sigh of relief and began to watch my stomach closely, not really sure at what I was looking for.
I imagined my stomach in a large form and began to giggle.
Being pregnant is actually a good news, however I'm scared.
I heard delivering the baby is usually painful.
I rolled my eyes to take away the thought of pain and begin to picture the right side of it; the baby.
My mind drifted to how Rayven and I made love to one another.
It was a magical moment. It was probably that romantic moment that made this happen.
My hands were on my belly, rubbing it gently as I imagined.
Before I could tell, I was already lost in my thoughts.
Smiling at no one but blushing and feeling my skin with my soft palm.
I was imagining Rayven's gentle touch.
It took me a moment to regain myself and put on the shower.
The water drops on my skin, like heavy rain drops, making little splashes.
I grabbed my soap and rubbed it upon my body. I applied some of the soap upon the sponge and began to wash my body.
After washing up, I let the water wash off the soap from my body.
I put off the running water and heaved a sigh of relief.
Grabbing a neat towel, I wiped my drenched hair and skin.
Furthermore, I put on a bathrobe and tied my hair before walking out of the bathroom.
I enjoyed the quick bath.
I wasn't feeling exhausted anymore, just happiness.
I sat on my makeup table and began to apply cream on my body.
I was smiling at myself in the mirror and having wonderful thoughts of how Rayven and I would play with the unborn child when he is born.
My nose sniffed something burnt.
There's no doubt that the smell was coming from the kitchen. Rayven have definitely burnt the meal he was preparing.
He wasn't still good in the kitchen, yet he tries to cook sometimes.
I began to hasten up with my present activity so that I could go meet him.
I don't want him blowing up the kitchen with smoke or fire.
My ears listened for the sound I was currently hearing, and I heard him coughing out loud.
"Rave dear, are you okay?" I decided to show concern.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine" he yelled from his end.
I chuckled and kept up with what I was doing.
I took out a dress from my wardrobe and wore it quickly.
It was one of my favorites, because Rayven bought it for me.
I stood up and examined myself at the mirror.
I smiled warmly and turned around to see if the gown still fits.
The gown as lovely as always, perfectly fitting me like it always did.
I felt like I was up on another date with Rayven.
Only that this date was happening at home.
I was done dressing and ready to step out of the room.
Ravyen stepped into the room just when I was about leaving. I released a smile on my face and asked him what was up with the meal he was preparing.
"Uh-uh" he cleared his throat, making an insincere cough.
"Food would soon be ready" he admitted to me.
"What are you doing here if you are not done yet?" I got curious and had to ask.
"Uh---" he began to itch his head, not knowing what to actually say.
He tried to lie but couldn't find the right words.
I get it, he wanted to have a peak at me.
Was he already missing me?
Gosh! Can he really leave without me?
I rolled my eyes as he was lost, standing before me.
"You should go back to the kitchen, before you get the next meal burned" I advised him.
"Yeah---Yeah, you're right" he muttered and paced away quickly.
He was acting awkward, but it was rather funny to me.
I sat back on the bed and took my phone to keep myself busy.
There was a message notification, displayed on my screen.
I wanted to ignore it as it was from an unknown source, but I got interested however, as the messages were more than one.
All messages were from an unknown source, probably from the same person .
I tapped upon the message, and it displayed a note.
It began with a dare that left me confused.
While I was in the hospital, I noticed a being following Rayven and I everywhere we went.
He wore a dark goggle and a brown coat. A hat that matched his coat was upon his head. This helped him in hiding his identity.
I wanted to believe he wasn't following us, so I made Rayven paused in his movement to see if he would pause too.
He took a turn right behind us and I didn't see him afterward.
It seemed that someone has been watching me all along as the message appeared to be numerous.
All messages seemed to be warning me on something. It wasn't really clear, but the sender instructed that I take a walk outside, if I wanted to know what the message meant.
I was scared and thought of telling Rayven, but message had strictly warned against it or he would be shot on the spot.
I wonder if they were truly watching us right now?
I paced gently out of my room and tried my best not to make a sound else Rayven would figure out that I was sneaking.
Furthermore, I walked out of the house to meet this stranger.
I stood just in front of the door.
Whoever it was, I wanted him to come meet me instead of me doing the opposite.
I was waiting anxiously with my hands trembling as I held my phone.
Gosh! I would have left Rayven with a clue or something at least.
Obviously, I didn't leave him with a clue that I got a threatening message.
I turned back to go inside hurriedly when I felt a sharp pain on my neck.
I looked back and saw someone holding something like a gun in his hands.
I began to feel dizzy, while my eyes sight was blurry. I couldn't really see who it was that had shot me with a pin.
With the little energy I had, I opened the door but collapsed before I could go in.
I felt a strong hand lifting me unto it's arms.
My head leaning on a broad chest against my will.
There was nothing I could do. I was weak and couldn't even fight out of his strong arms.
He laid me in the backseat of the car and shut the door on me.
I began to mumble strange words, but that wasn't what I mean to say.
It was as though I was intoxicated and that made me blaff nonsense.
Whoever was behind the steering wheel was mad driver.
The sound of the heavy wheels upon the floor were the last sounds I heard before my weak eyes came to a shut.
