Chapter 11: Red Light
The double doors of the master suite flew open with a violent kick.
Xavier strode in with long steps, carrying Agatha over his shoulder like a sack of grain. Ignoring the woman's protests, Xavier threw Agatha's body onto the king-size bed scattered with red rose petals.
"Ah!"
Agatha stifled a scream as her back hit the soft mattress. Rose petals were crushed beneath her body. Before she could get up, Xavier's large shadow already blocked the crystal light above her.
The man stood at the edge of the bed. His breath was ragged. His eyes were no longer the calm emerald green, but dark with a mixture of swirling desire and anger.
"You think that was funny, Agatha?" Xavier's voice was low but echoed in the silent room. "Making a cheap spectacle in front of all those men? Even dragging my butler into it?"
Agatha pushed back her messy hair, looking at Xavier with her chin raised arrogantly. "I don't need your opinion on my fashion taste, Mr. Valois. And as for Dion... he did it willingly."
"Willingly?" Xavier laughed cynically. He began loosening his tie and threw it onto the floor. "You were the one who tore your dress. You were the one showing off your body there. You deliberately provoked me, didn't you? Your body belongs to me, Agatha."
"I was just hot," Agatha replied flatly, trying to retreat toward the headboard. "That dress you chose was choking my neck."
"Hot?" Xavier pressed his knee against the edge of the mattress, caging Agatha in. His large hand gripped Agatha's ankle, pulling her back to the center of the bed with a single jerk. "Then let me help you take off the rest."
"Let me go. Don't touch me," Agatha cried out, her legs kicking Xavier's shoulder.
However, the resistance was futile. The already torn wedding dress backfired. Agatha's movement caused the skirt slit to flare open wide to her waist, showing off her smooth white thigh and sheer white panties.
Xavier's eyes darkened at the sight. He caught Agatha's legs, pinning both of the woman's wrists above her head with one hand, while the other immediately groped Agatha's exposed thigh.
"You have nice skin," Xavier whispered hoarsely. His rough and hot fingers moved up from her knee, tracing Agatha's inner thigh with demanding pressure. "And now, this skin is mine. Officially. Legally."
"Get your dirty hands off me," Agatha hissed. Her body tensed. She felt disgusted, but Xavier's touch was so expert that her body responded against her will.
"Why? Earlier you were very brave showing it off to every man in the chapel," Xavier brought his face closer. His lips brushed Agatha's jaw, then went down to her slender neck. "Where is that courage now?"
Xavier didn't wait for an answer. He buried his face in the crook of Agatha's neck. His lips sucked the sensitive skin hard, leaving many reddish-purple marks there.
"Xavier... stop..." Agatha's breathing began to get irregular.
"Keep calling my name," Xavier ordered in between his kisses.
His hand on Agatha's thigh grew bolder. He squeezed Agatha's waist, then his fingers slipped inside the remains of the dress fabric, rubbing Agatha's hip with intoxicating circular motions.
"Nnghh..."
A thin moan escaped Agatha's lips uncontrollably. She immediately bit her own lip, angry at her body's response.
Xavier smirked against Agatha's neck feeling the vibration. "See? Your body is more honest than your mouth. You enjoy it."
"I... hate you," Agatha said haltedly, trying to turn her face away.
"Hate and love are separated by a thin line, Darling," Xavier replied. He straightened his body slightly, looking at Agatha's flushed and messy face. His gaze was hungry. "This is a long night. I will make you beg for mercy until you lose your voice beneath me."
Xavier leaned down again, this time targeting Agatha's lips. His kiss was rough, demanding, and full of dominance. His tongue forced its way in, inviting Agatha's tongue to fight.
Agatha felt cornered. Xavier's strength was too great. If she fought physically, this man would only get more excited. She had to use her brain.
When Xavier's hand began to move toward the intimate area behind her panties, Agatha knew she had to play her ace card now.
Agatha stopped struggling. She pushed Xavier until she was now positioned on top of him. She looked Xavier straight in the eye.
"Are you sure you want to continue?" Agatha asked suddenly. Her voice was calm and cold, her hand moving abstractly on Xavier's chest, cutting through the mounting passion but simultaneously keeping the tension high.
Xavier stopped for a moment, his face only an inch from Agatha's. His hot breath hit Agatha's skin. "What do you mean? You want to play push and pull again?"
"Not push and pull," Agatha answered casually. "I'm just warning you. Unless you have a sexual deviation that likes dirty blood."
Xavier frowned, confused. His hand stopped moving on Agatha's upper thigh. "Speak clearly."
Agatha smiled crookedly. A smile of victory.
"I am on my period, Mr. Valois," Agatha said with emphasis. "First day. The heaviest."
Silence.
The atmosphere in the room instantly changed. The exploding passion was as if doused by a bucket of ice water.
Xavier froze. His eyes stared at Agatha in disbelief, looking for a sign of a lie. But Agatha's expression was very convincing, calm and slightly mocking.
"You're lying," Xavier growled. "You just want to avoid me."
"Go ahead and check if you don't believe me," Agatha challenged, spreading her legs slightly provocatively. "But don't blame me if your expensive silk sheets turn all red. And as far as I know, you hate unhygienic things, right?"
Xavier cursed roughly. He pulled his hand away as if he had just touched burning coal.
"Dammit," Xavier swore. He got up from under Agatha, moving away to the edge of the bed while ruffling his hair in frustration.
His face was flushed red, a mixture of suppressed passion and heavy disappointment. He looked down at his own manhood which was fully awake and throbbing painfully.
Agatha got up slowly, tidying up the remains of her messy dress while holding back laughter.
"What a pity, Darling," Agatha said with a feigned sad tone. "Even though you were already very excited. Do you want to continue? I don't mind, as long as you can hold it in a little."
Xavier stared at Agatha sharply, his finger pointing at his wife's face. "Don't provoke me, Agatha. There are other holes I can use besides that one."
Agatha's eyes narrowed dangerously. Her hand secretly groped under the pillow, looking for the sharp object she had intentionally hidden. "Just try. And I will ensure your precious asset is severed tonight."
They stared at each other fiercely for a few seconds. Xavier's breath was still ragged, his chest heaving to hold back emotion.
Finally, Xavier snorted roughly. He realized he couldn't win tonight. Forcing intercourse when his wife had a visitor was not his style. It was disgusting to him.
"Sleep," Xavier ordered coldly. "Don't leave the room. Don't speak. Or I might change my mind and not care about that damn blood."
Xavier turned around, stomping toward the bathroom.
The bathroom door slammed shut with a deafening bang that shook the room walls.
Agatha snorted softly. Not long after, the sound of the shower splashing could be heard.
Turning on cold water to subside the mounting passion.
Agatha leaned her back against the headboard, pulling the blanket up to cover her body. She stared at the room ceiling with a thin smile.
"One to nothing, Mr. Valois," she murmured softly.
Tonight she was safe. But Agatha knew, this was only a delay. Once this red period was over, Xavier would definitely collect his debt with compounded interest.
Agatha closed her eyes, letting exhaustion take over her body, while her husband was busy cooling his head and his other head in the bathroom.
