Chapter 54

Charlotte -

When I woke up late this morning I felt a little better. Last night I was really sick, Nikolai noticed. He helped me through the night. Had some breakfast, just some toast with strawberry jam.

The thing is I know what is wrong with me. I have known for a few days. I just hope that Nikolai will be happy about what I am going to share with him. I walk downstairs looking for Nikolai. I see him sitting down.

Holding on to the pregnant test behind my back, I am a little nervous because all of his men are here.

Nikolai -

I see my dove coming down and walk to me. She looks nervous. She is hiding something behind her back. Then very slowly she revealed what was behind her back and I saw it was a pregnancy test.

All of my men get quiet, you can hear a pen drop in here. I take a hold of the pregnant test and I see that it is positive. Looking up at Charlotte wanting more of than just a test. Charlotte shakes her head yes with a smile. My wife is pregnant. I get up from my chair to grab a hold of my wife.

"My wife is pregnant!"

All of my men cheer for me, I kiss my wife all over her face. I had joy even before she told me she was pregnant but now...I have no words.

Since then I told Nikolai that I was pregnant 4 months passed by. He has ordered the chef of the house to give healthy foods for me and the baby. All I want right now is a damn cheeseburger...cheesecake...oh and chocolate...yum.

But no I can not have any of that. But what Nikolai does not know is that I have a secret place inside the house full of candy or cakes.

No one is going to stop me from eating what I want. Slowly going down the stairs for some breakfast. The chef made some eggs, sausages, fruit bowls, among other things. I am glad that the morning sickness passed, horrible business, just horrible.

After eating my fill I walked over to the couch to watch some tv, only to watch like one minute before I had to pee again. I was able to watch one full season of my favorite show. Leaving the living room to get my butt dressed.

Since I can leave the house without a full body detail guard I have to stay home. I don't mind, there is plenty to do. After getting dressed I go outside to the garden.  I planted some new flowers in the garden and I checked my watch to see it was time for lunch.

But I take a shower first before eating lunch. The chef made wonderful chef salad, had bacon, chicken, oh it looked so good. I ate alone, Nikolai has been working more than ever but he still calls me to see how I was when he is at work. After lunch I went to the bedroom to take a nap.

I woke up to Nikolai himself. I was surprised to see him home so early then I looked at the clock at 7 pm. Oh lord, I spelt for a long time there.

Nikolai kisses me on the lips then my stomach ruins the moment by making sounds. Nikolai laughs hard and helps me out of the bed to the kitchen for some food. Nikolai made me some delicious soup with french bread. I love watching him cook. Kissing my forehead telling me to eat while he got his plate from the kitchen, we ate together in peaceful silence.

Tomorrow is my check up for the baby and Nikolai is off that day. Once we get up and do our morning routine we head to the doctors for my checkup. On the way over Nikolai already knew the gender, saying that the baby will be a boy. But I don't think so, my side of the family has a lot of females. But Nikolai stood by his word that the baby will be a boy.

Laying down so the doctor can put the gel on my stomach. I am 18 years old and pregnant. Wild. The doctor checks around to see if the baby is healthy, which she told me is strong. We heard the baby's heartbeat and it brought tears to my eyes.

" So do you want to know the gender?"

" yes".

The doctor flipped the screen around to show us our baby.

" By the looks of it, you are having a boy".

Damn it Nikolai was right. I am still happy.

We got home, did a few things together and now we are laying in bed just relaxing, slowly falling asleep in each other's arms.
