Chapter 73

Chapter 73

"Calvin, this is bad! Why am I seeing people leaving comments on the trending topics, even posting Charlotte's apartment address and photos?"

On the other end of the phone, Calvin looked smug. "That's right, I deliberately leaked it to those most fanatical haters, so they'd gather people to block Charlotte."

Sabrina pretended to be anxious. "If you do this, Alexander will blame me."

Hearing this, Calvin immediately took full responsibility: "Don't worry, I'll take the fall for what I do. He definitely won't blame you."

Sabrinahesitated "Calvin, maybe we should just forget it? After all, she's my sister."

Calvin spat harshly: "You treat her as your sister, but she doesn't care about your sisterly bond. She probably wishes you were dead."

Sabrina's voice was full of emotion as he said: "Calvin, you're so good to me."

Hearing Sabrina's voice, Calvin actually softened his tone: "Sabrina, if you hadn't saved me back then, where would I be today?"

Hearing this, Sabrina thought of something, and a cold mockery flashed across her face.

At this moment, Calvin's voice rang in her ear again. "That's weird, those people know where Charlotte lives, so why is there still no action?"

This was exactly the main reason Sabrina called tonight. "Maybe nobody noticed those comments?"

Calvin got excited and immediately rolled up his sleeves: "No way, tonight I'll get people to create several fake accounts. No matter what, we have to push those posts to the top!"

Mission accomplished, Sabrina coldly tossed her phone aside .

Calvin, that idiot, couldn't even handle such a small matter.

If it weren't for the fact that he still had some use, she really didn't want to hear his stupid voice anymore.

The next day, after Alexander signed several company contracts, Brady Coleman, a senior employee from the legal department who should have left, suddenly asked: "Mr. Forbes, about the contract with Nova... should we mention it to Mrs. Forbes? Have her give Nova a heads up?"

Alexander frowned.

Brady was very senior at the Forbes Group and had been deeply trusted by his father. He was also one of the few who knew that Charlotte had helped facilitate the Forbes Group's initial cooperation with Nova.

If he had heard this before last night, he might have hesitated.

But Nicole's words last night made him completely determined to lead the Forbes Group away from Nova's influence!

Because Nova, to some extent, also represented Charlotte.

He didn't want anyone, including Nicole, to say that his ability to inherit the Forbes Group relied on Charlotte's choice back then, or that the cooperation with Nova depended on Charlotte's help.

He wanted to prove to everyone that he had always relied on himself!

"I have my own plans for Nova. You can go now."

Alexander's tone was very firm.

He had completely thought it through. As Sabrina said, the Forbes Group's product style was too heavily influenced by Nova, and it was time to make changes to keep up with the trends.

The work Sabrina showed him that day was not only perfect but also full of natural energy. He believed that given a chance, she could definitely lead the Forbes Group to a newer and more brilliant future.

So, the Forbes Group's priority wasn't to continue seeking cooperation with Nova, but to promote Sabrina as quickly as possible, letting her completely replace... no, letting her become an even more dazzling new star in the design world than Nova!

This could also be considered his way of compensating her.

That evening, when Jenna learned that those online haters had actually posted the apartment information on trending topics, she was so angry and scared that she immediately wanted to grab a stick and go downstairs to fight those haters.

After Charlotte stopped her, she still looked distressed: "If you ask me, this definitely has something to do with that two-faced Sabrina!"

"One day, I'm going to publicly tear off her fake mask."

Charlotte smiled warmly: "Don't worry, that day will come soon."

"Really?" Jenna looked pleasantly surprised.

Charlotte nodded firmly at her: "Really, I'm already prepared."

Jenna hugged Charlotte: "I knew you were the smartest! I was right about you."

"But those online haters are crazy! Until this is resolved, you shouldn't go out. Whatever you want to buy, leave it to me!"

Listening to Jenna chattering in her ear, expressing her excitement and worry, Charlotte didn't find it noisy at all. Instead, her heart felt warm.

There were still many people protecting her.

Nicole, Oliver, Jenna, Philip, Keith... Landon counted as one too, right?

Just as she was thinking, her phone rang.

As soon as she answered, Keith's cheerful voice came through.

It turned out that Alexander, using his mother Lynn's name again, had invited many senior figures from the design world to attend a party next week.

But Keith heard through the grapevine that Alexander was still paving the way for Sabrina, the Forbes Group's new design director, wanting her to build more connections.

After hearing Keith's words, Charlotte paused before making a request to Keith... she wanted to go to next week's party with him.

After hearing this, Keith laughed heartily: "Good, you're truly Lynn's daughter. That's exactly how you should deal with those people."

At the same time, at a high-end club.

Calvin had been busy with family matters these past few days, and only tonight finally had time to properly celebrate Alexander finally getting rid of Charlotte.

Because he was happy, Calvin insisted on drinking several glasses with Alexander.

Sabrina sat quietly beside them the whole time, gentle and beautiful.

Occasionally, she remembered that Alexander's stomach wasn't very good and he shouldn't drink much.

But she didn't speak up to stop them, because celebrations should be enjoyed to the fullest!

She wouldn't be like that idiot Charlotte, being a killjoy.

After the meal, Calvin insisted on paying again.

Only before parting did Calvin hesitantly reveal the main purpose of tonight.
