A SCORE TO SETTLE.
"ALEXANDER’s POV".
“What is going on!” I demanded, my eyes darting between Leila and Tammy.
“Leila made the food why are you asking me? Do you think I did this?” Tammy , said unknowingly making herself sound suspicious.
“Leila are you okay?” I asked, stepping towards her.
Leila did not answer, her body was convulsing on the floor. And then a sickening realization hit me, I turned my head and glared at Tammy.
“Did you do this?” I asked Tammy, my voice rising in volume.
She met my gaze, her lips curling up into a smirk. “I do not know what you are taking about Alexander. Maybe she just ate something that disagreed with her. This could be a case of severe allergy or something related to that.”
But I knew better. I knew Tammy well enough to know to know that she was capable of anything. And now, she has her eyes on Leila.
“Help me get her to the car,” I said,my voice shaking. “We need to get her to the hospital.”
Tammy eyes narrowed,a look of disappointment on her face.
“What?” I snapped at her.
“Do you really think you can take her to the hospital? “ Tammy asked, her voice filled with malice. “She does not have enough time. She will die before you even reach the car.”
I stared at her, my blood boiling with rage. How could she be so rude? I know that I am a cold hearted B A S T A R D, but this lady here was giving me a run for my money and reputation.
“This was your plan, all along was it not?” I asked, taking steps towards her. “You still hate her so much you want to kill her? I will kill you if anything happens to Leila, trust me.”
I could see the fear in Tammy’s eyes, but something was wrong. I heard the sound of a vase falling, I turned my head and saw Allison standing a few feet from me.
Alfred who just walked in, picked Leila up and rushed her to the hospital. I made my decision in a short lot second and choose to find out what was happening here.
“Allison!” I exclaimed and grabbed her arm roughly.
“What the F U C K is going on here?” I snapped at her.
“Well...if that was not my dear cousin...being rushed to the hospital by a guard.” Alison said, her voice dripping with sarcasm, no hint of regret or remorse.
I felt like slamming this B I T C H on the wall. “What did you to to my wife! You are behind this so do not stay with your B U L L S H I T.”
Allison shrugged, her expression still adamant. “Do not be so dramatic Alexander. Read between the lines, I just gave your wife a little taste of what she deserves.”
“What she deserves?” I repeated, my voice rising in volume. “Leila did not do anything to deserve this! For F U C K S sake!
“Oh please, she is not the saint you take her to be?” Allison scoffed, rolling her eyes. “Leila has been a thorn in my skin for far too long. From the beginning she always competed with me for Ben’s love and attention. I knew I could not stand her any longer and she had to go.”
I could not believe was the lady in front of me was saying. “You poisoned Leila, your cousin because of some A S S H O L E called Ben. You were jealous of her isn’t that right?”
“Jealous?” Allison scoffed, beginning to get on my nerves. “I was merely protecting what was mine from day one, and now I will be getting who I want with little or no stress now that Leila is out of the way.”
My phone rang in my pocket, using one hand I brought the phone out. “Hello Alfred, how is Leila?”
“She is in a critical condition.” Alfred replied.
“Take care of her, I will be with you soon. But first I have some scores to settle over here.” I said and hung up the call.
Without a word, pinned Allison to the wall. “You have danced with the devil, now it is time for you to get burned,” I growled, my face mere inches from hers. “And you will pay for this, dearly.”
Allison’s eyes widened, her expression changing from a cocky one to a scared look. “Alexander please, listen I—“
“No more,” I rudely interrupted her, my voice a low deadly hiss.
“Please...” she begged, her voice barely above a whisper.
I dragged Allison towards the front door, ignoring her cries for mercy. I was some listening to the S H I T she had to spew. She has tried to kill my leotard I was not going to let her get away with it.
The night air was cool, but the rage inside of me was burning, like a wild fire.
I shoved Allison towards the car, forcing her into the passengers seat.
“Do not test my anger management skills, cause I do not have any.” I hissed.
“Where are ... we going?” Allison asked, her voice quavering.
“To show you...what happens when you mess with the wrong person.” I replied her in a curt tone.
“Alexander, please...do not do this. I can make it up to you. I swear, I will leave Ben alone. I will—-“
“I do not care about that S O N O F A B I T C H called Ben Maloney,” I snapped at her, starting the car. “I care about my wife and you almost killed her. Too bad in your case, you may not be as lucky. The only thing that can save you...is if she comes back to me, Hale and hearty, if even a single hair on her hair is hurt...imagine what I would do to you”
“What..what if she dies?” Alison asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
“I will make sure you and Ben never see the dawn of a new day.” I growled at her.
“About Ben...” she suddenly mumbled.
