Chapter 38 DOUBLE THE PLEASURE
The place was simply stunning, with a subtle mist on the ground, colored lights dancing around, a bar on the sides, and comfortable couches arranged in the corners and center, around the dance floor. Lara pulled me by the arm to a hidden staircase on the side, where we climbed up and presented our bracelets to the security guards. They granted us space for a luxurious VIP area, and I was enveloped in an exclusive and glamorous atmosphere.
The soft leather sofas, polished marble tables, and soft lighting created a truly sophisticated environment. Waiters circulated discreetly, offering an extensive list of premium drinks. From our elevated position, we had a privileged view of the dance floor below, where dancers moved with grace. This was a nightclub of indulgence and sophistication, where luxury and pleasure intertwined!
Lara was ecstatic, getting drinks for us, until her new flirt appeared with a wide smile and kissed her, ignoring my existence.
“Hey, this is my friend; remember I told you about her?” Lara shouted due to the loud music in the club.
“Oh, yes.” He rolled his eyes. “Nice to meet you; I'm Vincent, the club manager!”
“The pleasure is mine; this place is simply amazing!” I smiled politely.
“Yes, here all your desires and pleasures are fulfilled… Please feel free to enjoy everything we can offer; without restrictions, there's always room for one more.” Vincent looked me up and down and frowned. Lara slapped his arm, laughing, and pulled him into an intense kiss.
I rolled my eyes. That strange feeling had returned, and I looked around the club without identifying what was alarming me so much. Until I turned around, in the VIP area, and noticed a familiar face.
I shuddered, taking a few steps back, and quickly left the VIP area, running towards the bathroom, looking around in panic. I ended up bumping into a strong body, I put my hand to my head and stared.
“Sorry...” I looked and widened my eyes recognizing who it was.
“Well, well, are you out for some mischief, miss?” Patrick smiled daringly. “Is everything okay with you?”
“Mr. Morgan… What are you doing here?” I frowned, regaining my composure. “It's very hot in here; I was just going to the bathroom to cool off.”
“A strange place to do that... Come, I'll escort you outside!” Patrick extended his hands, taking mine and dragging me outside.
I was puzzled because we didn't go through the entrance, but rather the exit. Leaning against the side, I wiped my sweaty face and stared at Patrick, who was relaxed beside me.
“I didn't know you liked nightclubs...” I commented, trying to lighten the mood, still looking at the door anxiously.
“I don't like them...” He replied curtly, and I furrowed my brow.
“Did you accidentally wander into Neon?” I asked, making him laugh.
“No, Greg thought it would be a good idea to come to the club to meet new girls… Something about me becoming an old, boring man with no active life!” He shrugged.
I clenched my fists, irritated with his answers. So, he teased me at the cabin and went hunting on weekends?
“And did you succeed?” I spoke through gritted teeth, trying to hide my emotions.
“I always succeed in what I seek, Miss Lis.” Smirking arrogantly, Patrick approached, lifting my chin to analyze my expression. “Why do I always see you running away or hiding?”
I widened my eyes at how directly he approached the subject.
“I wasn't running away from anyone. I told you I needed some fresh air.” I was interrupted when he punched the wall in frustration, making me flinch.
“We've talked about not lying!” Patrick's tone was both deadly and unforgiving. He pulled me by the waist, pressing our bodies together and brushing our lips. “Why don't you tell me the truth and let me take care of you?”
My heart was racing with the proposition. I stared at him until female voices caught our attention.
“Oh, Mr. Morgan, such an elusive man...You vanished from our sight. We could provide you with an unforgettable night!” said a drunken blonde, caressing herself.
“Much more than this skinny one could offer. Look at the combo: two for one!” The brunette smirked maliciously, also drunk.
I pushed Patrick, stepping out of his arms and huffing in annoyance. I straightened up and stared at him challengingly.
“I almost forgot who you are and who I am…” I spoke sharply, looking at him and then at the women. “Have a good time, Mr. Morgan. See you on Monday!”
I walked away with firm steps. Patrick called after me, but I chose to ignore him. I looked for Lara everywhere, seeing her entwined with Vincent on the couch. I rolled my eyes and went to the club's entrance to order a ride through an app, which was taking a while to arrive.
A black car stopped in front of me. Lowering the window, I saw Mr. Morgan smiling.
“I'll give you a ride,” he said.
“No, thank you. I'm afraid your car is already full!” I looked back at my phone screen, nervous about the delay in finding a car to pick me up.
“It wasn't a request, Mrs. Elisabeth. Get in the car now!” Patrick's tone was more loaded, his eyes flashing.
“You're not my boss here. You can't give me orders.” I retorted, turning my face away and ignoring him.
Patrick got out of the car, opening the door. I furrowed my brow when he picked me up and threw me over his shoulders.
“Mr. Morgan, what are you doing? Put me down! This is kidnapping, you know?” I shouted, drawing attention from everyone around me.
Patrick slapped my buttocks and said:
“If you keep making a scene, I'll bite!”
“You wouldn't dare!” I crossed my arms, grumpy.
“You have a very nice butt, miss. I'll gladly bite it.” He looked back at me over his shoulders, licking his lips.
I blushed intensely as Patrick got into the car with me in his arms, instructing the driver to take us to my apartment. We stayed silent the entire way, with me crossing my arms, almost in a pout, which made him furrow his brow as he scanned me from head to toe. I looked around, noticing the absence of his companions.
“Where are your fun partners?” I asked, which made him chuckle.
“Fun partners?” Patrick leaned in, making me retreat towards the passenger door, where I was pressed against him. “I didn't know you were the jealous type.”
“I have nothing to be jealous about... You're nothing to me other than a boss!” I snapped angrily.
“For someone who claims not to be jealous, you're very prickly, miss...” Patrick smiled seductively, running his hands between my thighs and dangerously moving upward. “Maybe I should help you relax.”
I raised my chin in defiance, pressing my legs firmly against his hand, making him squint his eyes.
“I can do that myself!” I removed Patrick's hand from between my legs, pulled down my dress, and sat properly on the seat.
He stood there, staring at me for a while without looking away. He tilted his head, a glint running through his dark blue eyes, as if an idea had come to him.
“If that's the case, Miss Lis... I want you to show me how you do that yourself.” He finally spoke, and I widened my eyes, staring at him. The car stopped, and Patrick got out, extending his hand outside. “Aren't you coming?”
