I pulled out of his grasp. “What the fuck are you doing here?”
“I saw the little show you were putting on. You didn’t think I would notice?” The point was for him to notice, but not show up here. I smirked.
“Yeah, must be hard seeing another man touch me, like how it was hard watching you fuck someone else.” He sucked air in through his teeth.
“Fallon.” He said through gritted teeth. I turned around and walked away from him, back to the stage.
“Alright ladies, are we having a great time?” They all cheered. “How about another dance off between the ladies? Guys steps aside, for the moment.” 8 girls came forwards to the stage. I had the bouncers let them up on the stage. “Remember the rules?” They all nodded their heads and began dancing when the music turned on.
I refused to walk back over to Maximo, so I had one of the guys help me off the stage and walked towards the office. Zach had been managing this club for me since I had opened. He had gone to business school with me but left before graduation. He had called me out of the blue one night looking for a job, so I gave him this opportunity and he has yet to let me down.
When I opened the door Zach greeted me with a warm smile. “Hello, Fallon.”
“Hi, Zach.” I always though Zach had a thing for me in school, but he never asked me out. “Quite a turnout tonight.”
“There always is when you come to town.” He stood up and walked over to me, kissing me softly on the cheek. “I always love when you come to town.” He kissed me again. I smelt the liquor on his breath and felt his boner against my leg. “I missed you, Fallon.”
“Zach.” I said before he grabbed my waist. “Zach, no, you’re drunk.”
“I know, it gives me the confidence I don’t have when I’m sober.” He pushed me up against the wall softy, kissing my neck.
“Zach, I got married.” He paused and stepped back.
“Oh, Fallon, I’m sorry, I didn’t know.” He backed up and started to blush. “I’m sorry.” He said again.
“It’s okay, I just don’t know why you waited until now to make a move on me.” I gave him a small smile. I walked over and sat in the chair in front of his desk, crossing my legs.
“To be honest, you always intimidated the shit out of me, Fallon. You have this way about you. This confident, sexy way. I just always found you so beautiful, but it’s like you didn’t know you were beautiful.” I smiled again, got up, and walked around to the other side of his desk, and sat on his desk. I crossed my legs. He put his hand on my knee. “Fallon, you’re married.”
I knew if Maximo walked in he would probably kill Zach. I stood up and walked out. “Goodbye, Zach.” I closed the door and walked back to the bar. “Tequila.” The bartender handed me a bottle of tequila and some limes. I didn’t walk back to the stage as I saw Maximo sitting up there with Claire. They were making small talk. I saw Julio and Monte by James and Miles. Julio met my eyes and excused himself from the girls. He walked up behind me.
“Bello, why did you have to go and do this?”
“Julio, I wanted to make him jealous, but I underestimated his crazy.” Julio let out a small laugh. “Shot?” He nodded and I poured him a shot. “Salud.” We clinked glasses and let the tequila pour down our throats.
“Fallon, he is crazy about you. I don’t know what went through his head when he was with that girl, but I know he regrets it.”
“He may regret it, but I don’t care. He needs to learn to control himself. He gets whatever he wants, but he won’t have me like that.”
“Oh, bello, he already has you. Which is why you’re dressed like this.” He pointed his finger up and down my body. “At a place like this.” He said, motioning around us.
“Oh, Julio, I own this place.” He raised his eyebrows.
“Really? You own this place?”
“Yup. Didn’t think I every could ever own a place like this?” I gave him a sexy smile. Julio smiled but when he looked up, his lips formed a hard line.
“It was nice to see you.” He said before walking off. I panned around and noticed Maximo was staring at us intensely. He stood up and started to walk towards me. My body stiffened. He looked mad. He always looks mad. It isn’t often he smiles or is soft with me. He just looked so damn hot when he was mad.
“How was your visit in the managers office?” He said seething. I gave him a wicked smile and took a shot.
“It’s none of your business. As far as I’m concerned, I’m owed a fuck with someone else.” He grabbed my wrists.
“You will not fuck anyone else, Fallon.” He set the bottle of tequila behind the bar. He put my dress back on me. “I don’t want anyone else to look at you.” He tied my dress, tight, making me suck in air.
He brought his finger up to touch my cheek but I moved my face away and stepped back. “Don’t touch me.” He frowned and grabbed my arms pulling me close to him.
“Your week is up, since I saw you with that man in the office. Either you come back with me or he dies.” I stepped away from him.
“You wouldn’t.” I said through my teeth. He smiled and leaned into me.
“You know I would, and I would make you watch.” I turned away from him. “You have 10 seconds to make up your mind before I go pay him a visit. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8…”
“Stop.” I looked at me.
“9…”
“Stop!”
“Come on, Fallon, say it.”
“I will go back with you, but you will not harm him.”
“I don’t understand why you have such a need to protect the men in your life, Fallon. It makes me feel like there is always something more going on with them than you let on.” He gave me a wicked smirk. “It’s time to go.”
