Money...Money...money

Money...Money...money
My new home in Fredericksburg,VA
Natalia

So I found a lovely new home about two hours outside of DC and it was great, yes the area was still kind of country but they have a large shopping area not far from my house. I loved the fact that I could shop here, even though so many of the shops closed at five. It was annoying when you wanted to buy something and couldn’t because they were closed. So I shopped online a lot.

“You are doing well it would seem.” Draven told her with pride in his voice.

“I have recovered from that night with little issues. I know that the human part of Blaze hated what was going on. I wish there was a way to help him, but I hate him at the same time. So what brought you here?” I asked looking at him with sex in my eyes.

“I wanted to bring you this.” Draven brought a box from behind his back.

I turned and looked at him and wondered what he was up to. When he brought out a box with the label Crimson Sweets on it I laughed and grabbed it. A black box with blood red hearts all over it really screamed candy to me. I opened the box and took one out and popped it into my mouth. They did great with following the recipe that had to be changed into a bulk recipe. Not an easy task at all.

“How did it go over so far?” I asked holding the box.

“Let’s just say that you are now a billionaire. We are charging forty-five for that box of candy you are holding.” Draven told her with a chuckle.

“WHAT?” I screamed and almost dropped the box of candy onto the floor.

How the hell had I become a billionaire? I felt a little faint and sat back down on the chair. I didn’t even recall standing up. Did mom know? She had helped make these. So I would have to make sure she would get some of the money.

“Well it was your idea so you get the money for it. Same with the camera mirror, that one can be sold to humans as well. You would be shocked how many want the idea.” Draven told him smiling like a proud dad. Eww that thought was nasty.

“I..I…” I really had no idea what to say for the first time in my life I was at a loss for words. I looked up at him and then back to the box in my hands. I put the box on the desk and finally looked up Draven again.

“You looked like you are going to faint.” Draven said worry in his eyes.

“I might, I never thought I would have that type of money. I knew I would have money for the rest of my life, but not like this.” I couldn't figure it out. I had ideas but that was all. Ideas.

Draven gave one of those male chuckles and then took a piece of my candy to eat. I almost smacked his hand, but let him have it. They were rather nice; it took me a moment to notice that the box told you the blood type. I almost laughed at the idea of a human getting their hands on one of the boxes. Oh lord, what would happen if a human did get the candy?

“So you came all this way to give me a box of candy?” I asked with a hint of suspection in her voice.

“No my dear, I brought you this too.” He pulled out a black bottle with the same hearts on it called Crimson Drinks. I looked at him a little puzzled.

“What is it?” I asked not sure I recalled talking about booze.

“Your wine my dear, it was one of two things that we made. I asked a few vampires what they thought of it. They said it tasted amazing and you did taste the wine but you didn’t get the effects from it.” Draven smiled again as he watched the emotions ran across her face.

“Have you tried it?” I asked wanting to know if it was any good,

I asked and took the bottle from him, it was chilly in my hand and I figured I would put it and the candy in the fridge. I grabbed the box and headed out of the office and up the hall to the right and into the kitchen. I really loved the kitchen even if it was one of the most useless rooms in the house for me. I put the wine and the candy into the fridge and turned to see him standing behind me.

“Yes it is rather nice; I can say I never tried it before. I also have one of the mirrors; it is remarkable to see myself in the mirror. I had one installed in here or you as well, when your mom…” He stopped talking when she pipped up.

“I know and thanks so much that helps to do my hair and makeup.” I smiled and put my hands on my hips and still wondered why he was here.

I mean not that I was complaining. Draven was hot, from his long hair to his deep sea-green eyes. I twisted around him and went back to the office and my online shopping. Yes I am a shopping addict. I plopped down in my chair and looked at the screen again smiling at the deal I just got on the latest boots. One thing I hated about buying online is that you couldn’t try them on first. I heard Draven enter the room and I turned to look at him. I had all my Christmas stuff up and smiled at the pile of gifts I had under the tree. Most of the gifts were for the children’s hospital I gave them too. Most of the kids had cancer and lost so much over the years. I did have one or two for Draven and one for Elysium who still hadn’t told me everything about my last blood test.

I looked up at him seeing that he had a quesution he wanted to ask. My heart started to slam aganist my chest but I took a deep breath and calmed myself.
