Creepy Man

Creepy Man
“Natalia said the same thing; maybe we should give a smaller dose to start with and build it up from there.” Draven thought it over and it was a good idea to let the doctor know.

“That might help, why is she hiding behind you?” Blake asked looking toward Natalia.

“She thinks you are a demon.” Dravent old him the truth.

“I see, that isn’t a good thing to think of someone.” Blake looked a little pissed off.

I didn’t say anything to him; I could feel the power coming off of that man and knew that it wasn’t a vampire’s power. I also knew that he didn’t like the idea that I knew the truth. So I slide by the two of them and went to find Elysium. I found her in her office. I smiled and knocked on her door she looked up and gave me a bright smile back.

“You look happy, is it ok for me to come in?” I didn't want to interupt her.

“Come in and sit down Natalia. I have been seeing some amazing things on the blood test. The other test seems to be showing that the women are taking to the drug better then the men. Other than Blaze, he worries me a little.” Elysium told her and all I could do was nod.

“I wonder what it means that the women are taking it better. Does it mean that our make-up is different than that of the men? I don’t really want to talk about Blaze.” A shiver ran up my spine and I tried not to show it when I sat in front of her. The thing about doctors is they see it all. It only took that moment for her to see it, and I was shocked she didn’t say anything about it.

“Well you seem to be taking to it the best. It is like your human again. I know you’re not though so it is a little confusing.” she told her with a shrug.

“That is kind of odd. I am tired all the time too, I wondered if it was the drugs.” I knew I had to let her know what was going on.

“You should be doing fine and back up to normal in the energy area. Maybe I should take some more test, I would like to have you try to brave the sunlight.” That was the one things I wasn't really ready for.

“Ok with the vampire thing there doc. I am not too sure I want to brave the sun yet. It scares me that I might burst into flames.” It was silly but true.

“Let’s go get that blood, and I don’t think you will. The blood of a normal vampire in the sun lamps does catch fire, but not yours.” Elysium haven't told me that she had done that.

We stood up and walked to my room. Man I was in this room to much if I was thinking of it as mine. She did her doctor thing and checked everything then took my blood. The scent mad my fangs drop and I wanted to cry. I shouldn’t have this issue but I did. Maybe she could work on the blood lust next. I sighed and let her take what she wanted and lay back on the bed to see what she wanted to do next.

“Umm I did have another question to ask. I wanted to know if I should worry about safe sex.” I could feel my face flush.

“I would say yes my dear. Draven can get your pregnant. Should I run a test?” Elysium wasn't shocked that she was having sex.

“Well I wouldn’t know to be honest. I haven’t had a cycle in a while.” I just figured that I wouldn't have any more.

“I will run one and see what happens. With that I would like to give you one more dose of the drug.” Elysium told her adding a check to the test.

I nodded and lay my head down again, feeling dizzy and sick again. It was most likely from the blood being taken, but I didn’t know for sure. A few more moments the doctor came back with a dose of the drug. I felt it enter my system and I felt the world go black again. It was odd how the drugs did that to me, putting me to sleep until my body could deal with the invasion. I woke and screamed at the top of my lungs. Blaze was standing over me looking like he wanted to eat me. Maybe he did, but I didn’t want to think like that. So I screamed and screamed until Draven came into the room running.

“What the hell?” Draven looked from me then to Blaze.

“I have no idea she woke up and screamed when she saw me.” Blaze told him not hiding the fact that he was in the room where he didn't belong.

“Then leave…” Draven told him coming to my side.

I gasped and tried to get myself together. I didn’t like the idea that Blaze had been standing over me like that. He creped me out and I couldn’t tell anyone about it. Well I could but no one would listen to me. I wondered what the hell I could do about this. Maybe I should tell Draven what I thought. Once Blaze was out of the room I sighed and tried to hide the fact that I was shaking from head to toe. That was impossible seeing as the bed I was in shook with me. Draven sat on the bed and pulled me into his chest. I found myself calming down. I liked when he hugged me and treated me like a loved woman.

“Shhh he left. What is it about him that you are so scared of?” Draven had seen the fear in her eyes before about Blaze.

“I think he has a demon. I feel his power coming off of him and it is so dark and wants more.” I told him feeling werid telling him that.

“Dear Natalia, no vampire would do that. Turn a human carrying a demon.” He told me but I could see his face, the worry.

“I know what you are telling me, but I know what I feel. Why can’t you feel his power reaching for you? Like he is trying to pull your power into himself, like he wants to suck you dry.” I explained trying to get him to see what I saw.

He seemed to think this over and finally looked at me. It wasn’t the type of looking you wanted to have from the man you wanted to love. He looked at me like I had done something stupid or brilliant. Either way I didn’t really like the way he was looking at me.

“Look into his eyes next time he gets close. Let me go, I want to go up and get a bath.” I hated that he didn't want to listen to her. She knew...Blaze wasn't right.
