Chapter 96 96
She said nothing to me just walked past me with Valen. For some reason I was in her bad books, and I really had no idea why. I went back to my office and returned Garrison's call. Grabbing a coffee, I sat at my desk and call him. He answered on the third ring.
"Titan, I have been trying to get a hold of you." He said.
"Yah, I know I have been busy with pack stuff." I told him.
"How did you and blade get alone on your drive home?" He asked.
"I like him he seems like an honest guy. Sorry about leaving the questions were to much. You know how we are." I said.
"Well you got over half the Alpha's wanting to help where they can. Something is rubbing me the wrong way about Hunter I talked to Haley in record and Hunter has been trying to access sealed files. She is keeping an eye on it for me." Garrison told me.
"What files?" I asked.
"The attack on your pack. Where your located. I don't trust him never have he is up to something." Garrison said.
"Keep me informed, I have to make a call." I said and hung up. This is what I was afraid of I was going to have to call him. It was the last thing I wanted to do but if this Hunter get's a hold of any of those records we are going to have a hell of a time explaining shit.
Dammit this is why we stayed secluded from everyone. My father and his stupid idea's look where it has got us. I had to talk to Mother. I stopped to see Raven first.
"Raven are you ok?" I asked entering my room. Raven was sitting on the bed with her earbuds in listing to her book. I assumed she did not hear me. I went and sat beside her on the bed then reach out for her hand. She moved it away from me.
"Raven, what is wrong?" I asked. Raven took out one earbud.
"I hope Joe and Jessica can find a motel before he has to pull of the road for twenty-four hours. That truck gets cold and you can't cook a decent meal in it. But it is ok you never offered them a room when Joe said they would have to be on the side of the road for twenty-four hours. If you will excuse me Alpha I would like to get back to my book. Thank you." Raven said in a cold tone then put her earbud back in and ignored me.
She was right I was not completely listening to what they were saying with everything on my mind. If I had listened I would never have let then leave. I kissed Raven on the forehead and went out into the hall I had put Joes number in my phone earlier. It rang twice before he answered
"Alpha Titan, is everything ok?" He asked.
"How far did you get when you left, before you had to pull over," I asked him.
"Funny thing about that. We got about a mile maybe two from the hidden entrance and The Truck blew a tire. It is a main one. Boss can't get a new tire to us for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. We are just going to make camp here." Joe told me.
"I'm sending Deisel with my truck to get you. You can stay here until they can get here to fix your tire." I told him.
"We don't want to inconvenience you Alpha." He said. I laughed.
"Actually you just might get me back in the good books with Raven." I told him. He chuckled.
"Still has a temper does she?" He asked.
"I believe so." I said and hung up. Linking Deisel to take my truck and pick up Joe and Jessica at the broken-down rig and bring then to the pack house and give them a nice room on the third floor. Then closed the link.
I went back down the hall and into my room. Raven had fallen asleep. I left closing the door quietly. When I turned I almost banged into Mother.
"Come to my room Titan it is time." She said.
"Time for what?" I asked
"Time you met your ancestors." She said and went into her room. I followed. Once inside she locked the door.
"Put this on," she said handing me a white robe.
LUNA LOIRA'S POV
It was time. I went to find Titan. He was just coming out of his room. I told him to come with me to my room it was time. He followed me asking me why. I passed him a white robe and told him to put it on it was time for him to meet his ancestors. He looked at me like I was crazy.
"Titan do as your told." I said and went into my bathroom and changed into my white robe when I came out he had the robe on over his clothes.
"No Titan, only your under pants under the robe now hurry up." I told him the lit the candle and pulled the hidden lever on the wall opening the wall to the secret room. I went in and when I saw he was changed had him follow me. Once inside I closed the wall over. Then I lit the candles on the table.
"What is this place, Mother?" Titan asked.
"You will see my son. Come and stand at the table and light three white candles. Then put the gold sash around your neck. Like this." I told him and then waited. I took out the three books gathering the ingredients then opened the second book and combined the ingredients then opened the third book and began to recite the ritual that would take us to another plain of existence.
"Titan clear your mind concentrate on the fire of the candle and listen to my words. Let go of everything and listen to my voice."
As I recited the words of the ritual we began to move from one plain to another. I could feel my body being purified and cleansed.
When we reached the other side everything was pure and white. Titan looked at me confused.
"Come my son they are waiting for us." I told him taking his arm leading him to the large white door.
"Where are we Mother?" Titan asked.
"You will see come inside with me." I told him. We went through the white door and were met by a woman. She blessed us both then let us pass. We went down a small hall that opened into a large room. There was nothing in the room except twelve large, overstuffed chairs and two large cushions on the floor all in white. I knelt on the cushion and made Titan do the same. After a few minutes six men and six women came and sat down in the chairs.
"Luna Loira welcome back, how are you feeling?" One of the man asked.
"Ancestor, I am trouble as to what will become of us." I answered.
