In the washroom off my office, I left a pen and a bottle of medication that said take two at bedtime. Will cause drowsiness. I made sure I was gone fifteen minutes. When I came back she was just finishing vacuuming.
"Is there anything else you would like me to do?" She asked.
"No that will be all, finish up this floor and do the next." I told her. Then I linked Theo.
"Let me know if Imara takes anything to the cottage. Don't stop her. Just inform me," I said in our link.
"I, will Luna," Theo replied and closed the link.
ALPHA GARRISON'S POV
It had been a couple of days since Titan had come with me to council. Today the drive was boring. I prepared myself to be asked a lot of question about Titan but I would wait to answer anything until High councillor Heart had his say about the testimonies given.
I grabbed my briefcase and my coffee and headed into get ready to go into the council chambers.
"Garrison wait up," Alpha Hunter said running to catch up with me.
"Morning Hunter, have a good couple of days off?" I asked him.
"Just the usual catching up on paperwork. How long have you known Alpha Titan?" He asked. As we walked to the dressing room.
"Almost fifteen year, I would say." I told him.
"Wow, and you kept existence a secret from us all that time." He said.
"The my do try and live in peace and stay out of others business." I told him.
"How long has the actual council known they existed?" He asked.
"That I have no Knowledge of. “I said as we entered the change room to put on our robes. I walked a way from him hoping he would not follow. Lucky for me the bell rang for us to enter council chamber and I went in quickly and took my seat.
High councillor Heart came out and took his seat.
"Ladies and Gentlemen this session of council is now is session please respect all council members when they are talking, " the floor person said then went to sit down.
High councillor Heart stood to address us.
"We have heard the testimonies of a lot of victims of Alpha Scott and Beta Ivan of the Night Stocker pack. As well as criminal charges against the packs: Ember Flames pack Sharp Fang pack. The fact that this went on for so long is very disturbing to me. This crime is out lawed in all societies including our human neighbors. We are still investigating the packs the females were taken from to see how the leader benefitted from the females being taken. I pose this question to you all. Would you let someone come into your pack and remove your females with out fighting for them?"
The Counciler all yelled No. So, it is safe to say the leaders of the two packs reaped rewards for the females that were taken.
We must decide what we are going charge the leaders of these packs with criminal charges. I could not believe what I just heard I stopped paying attention to Heart and texted Titan.
"Mother and brother, possibly at packs Ember Flames or Sharp Fang."
Garrison.
"Councilman Garrison do you have something to ask?" Heart asked.
"High Counciler Heart, are these packs still intact or have they been split up?" I asked.
"That we are not sure of, the special police are there doing there investigations. Is there sure a reason fir this question?" He asked.
"High councillor Heart, would the victims in these cases not want to be reunited with their families?" I asked.
"That is a possibility we will have to look into. Thank you for your question. Next question."
By lunch I was itching to get out of there. Titan had not messaged me back. This was odd. When we broke fir lunch I signed out for the day and headed towards Titan pack."
JOE'S POV
It was mid summer when the boss called me into his office with Darlene, Jessica and Tank. We were either in trouble for something or there was a job only we could handle. When I got to the office Momma bear was there as well.
I took a seat at the table, boss was not a desk kind of guy.
"Well Joe, it took a while, but we have been asked to find and bring home any Sky fire children we can find. Your going to have to go out in pairs and be looking through the forests for them. It will not be an easy task. But I know the four of you can handle it." Boss said.
"Is there a reason why now?" I asked.
"They have not had anyone show up but rouges in months, according to Lance their Beta this is unusual. He thinks something is happening to them before they make it home. I will be having another team going out and looking for a mother and son as soon as I get all the information. If you come across them before hand let me know. Once I have the information they will be top priority for everyone. The Beta said they need to be found."
"Did they do something wrong?" Jessica asked.
"No nothing like that, he just said it was top priority. They are paying us a great deal for each one we bring home. Even though I told them it was not necessary. The Beta said the Alpha will not give us the job unless we take the money. We will use it to fund and get supplies we need to bring them home the rest will go into foundation for all Sky fire children. Also, one last thing you are to keep their existence under wraps." He told us. You head out in a week when I have the rest of the information. Until then train your replacement for the roads. They are waiting outside the pack house. Your all dismissed. He got up and left Momma bear with him. He seemed very on edge and very serious about this. Something was up that he did not tell us about. A week later we hit the road. Boss still had not gotten all the information on the woman and son. But we would keep our eyes out. Jessica and I teamed up and Darlene and Tank teamed up. We divided the map into grids we would meet up after doing each grid. This was going to be like finding needles in a haystack. But it was our job and we were good at it most if the time.
Jessica and I did a lot of talking about Raven. I wondered if we took the first Fire sky child home would we see her. I hoped so I needed to apologize to that woman.
