Chapter 52 CHAPTER 52
I think we have a lot to learn from others. So, I'm a kiss ass. Her words. She is a spoiled bitch. Truly I wish she was not my cousin people who don't know me think I'm like her." Bre said. I heard her sit in one of the chairs I felt a sadness vibrating off her. I walked over to the chair and touched her shoulder.
"Sorry, Bre. I know she is not a nice person. I think you and I just might work out well together." I said smiling. She jumped up startling me.
"Oh, sorry Raven, thank you." She said steading me so I did not fall. We both laughed.
"Thank you for finding my charcoal, explore the closets and bathroom and see how thing are set up. So, you know how to keep them." I told her.
"Who set it up for you?" Bre asked.
"Luna Loria and Clare, but Clare's parents made her go to summer school. " I said making my way to the easel.
"Oh, I know Clare, she would have been done but her father said one of her grades was unexpectable and made the teacher have her redo the class with the ones who did bad."
Bre was telling me as I picked up a piece of charcoal. I started humming quietly and could no longer hear what Bre was saying. My mind was blank, but my hands flew across the canvas with the charcoal every so often changing tools or size of charcoal. I don't know how long I had stood there doing this picture but as a was finishing I could feel the sun was now on the other side of the building and a cool breeze came off the balcony. I put down the charcoal and felt around for a cover sheet for the canvas someone handed it to me, I in haled his scent. It was Titan. He helped my cover the canvas.
"I need to clean my hands." I said in a voice just above a whisper.
"I will follow you; you need to clean your face too. Dinner is in thirty minutes,” I came to escort you down." He said.
"Where is Bre?" I questioned.
"I sent her to get ready for dinner, I did not want her to miss dinner waiting for you to finish, she really likes you, and said she was thankful for this opportunity.
‘he explained.
"He helped me wash off the charcoal then softly kissed my cheek.
"I did not mean to ignore her, when these things start I lose all track of time and those around me." I said in a apologetic tone.
"She wanted me to tell you she never looked at what you were drawing." Titan said. He had me sitting on the counter of the bathroom. From washing off the charcoal from my face. His hand stocked down my cheek I closed my eyes and leaned into his hand. Suddenly his lips were on mine gentle but demanding. I returned his kiss. Wrapping my arms around his neck. It was perfect my skin was tingling I started to feel the need for my mate. When suddenly he stopped and stepped away. What did I do wrong. His voice interrupted my thoughts.
"Mother is saying to get downstairs to dinner." He chuckled. I blushed, i could feel the heat radiating of my cheeks. He lifted me down and took my hand.
"We better go they will not start dinner without us." Titan laughed.
"We got to the dining room i heard the men stand. Titan sat me in a chair, and I could hear everyone sit that were standing. Titan sat to my right. I felt a soft hand touch mine as conversations started in the room.
"Don't be afraid, it is me Bre. Shall I tell you what is for dinner and show you where it is on your plate?" She asked. I nodded. It was a comfortable dinner the children all said hello, but no one stared at me.
"Raven?" A little voice said beside me. I turned to the voice.
"Hello, what is your name and how old are you.?" I asked.
"My name is Sonia and in five years, you really can't see anything?" She asked the room went silent. I put my hand out to her and she took it, I then lifted her onto my lap.
"You got her?" Titan asked. He was now standing beside me.
"Sonia, I use to be able to see but something happened that took away my site. I can see shadows. I can tell this is your arm. This is your head. But not how beautiful you are. Your hair is long and soft." I told her touching it.
"You see with your hands?" She asked.
"Yes something like that." I told her.
"Mommy said you will our new Luna. I like that idea." She told me.
"Even if I can't see?" I asked her. She thought for a couple of minutes. Before she answered.
"You see with your hands right?" She asked
"Yes, I can see with touching." I told her.
"Just because your eyes don't work right does not mean you can not be our Luna your heart is pure and you are smart you never ignored me when I came to talk to you. I might be only five years, but I see things better this size." She said her arms folded. I had to laugh.
"I bet you do, up here people forget how to be nice." I said. She giggled.
"You are my favorite auntie." She told me.
"Thank you," I said. As she got down and went to her mom.
"Mommy can I have my hair like auntie Ravens, please." She asked her mom. I chucked quietly to myself forgetting Titan had been standing there the whole time.
"Out of the mouth of pups." He whispered to me.
"Or someone put her up to it, promising her treats." I said.
"No, Raven. I saw her going over to you I was terrified of what she was going to say being only five years." Lance said.
"Pups like her are so innocent it is when they start getting older and other start putting their idea into there heads." I said.
"I would agree whole heartly." Titan said.
"I would like to be excused Luna Loira, if I may?" I asked.
"Yes, you're excused, Raven. Bre go up with Raven and learn her nightly routine. Then you may retire for the evening to your room on the second floor." Luna Loria told us.
After we got in the elevator and it was on its way up I chuckled.
"You know the child was encouraged before dinner to talk with me. I don't think they told her what to say, but she was promised something if she talked to me." I told Bre.
"How do you know?" Bre asked.
