Chapter 41 CHAPTER 41
I was strong and powerful. I got up from the bed and went to the couch. Titan brought me coffee. Then turned on a light. My one hand covered my eyes from the brightness.
"Raven what is wrong?" Titan asked with fear in his voice. I slowly removed my hand.
"The light is bright." I told him. The light had never hurt my eyes before.
"Lance, get Michael right away." Titan told him.
"He will be right up he came to the pack house to get leftovers from dinner." Lance said. Lance left and came back with Michael.
"Raven, what is it?" He asked.
"I can see the light!" I told him excited. He came over and checked my eyes when he put the light in them I closed them.
"I need you to keep them open Raven so I can see in your eyes." He said. After he checked my eyes. He moved away from me.
"Raven, where am I standing?" He asked. I pointed to him.
"What do you see?" He asked.
"Shadows, I see things, but they are out of focus, and everything is the same color gray." I explained to him.
"This is a good sign Raven; I have more hope of your site coming back now. But it will still be a while, and It may not be perfect." Michael told me. I reach for Titan's hand. Then laughed.
"What is so funny, love?" Titan asked.
"You are a gray blob." I told him.
"Now that better than you not seeing me at all." He chuckled.
"I want to do the M.R.I. tomorrow afternoon." Michael said to me.
"Just tell us what time and I will bring her." Titan said.
"I will text you. I have to see when its machine is free to use. Congratulations Raven, Alpha." He said. Then put stuff back in his bag
"Now back to looking for leftovers. I will see you tomorrow. Good night all." He said. Lance went out and sent him down in the elevator. Then came back in got coffee and sat down. Titan had put food on a plate for me and showed me where it was and what it was. I thanked him. And took a sip of my coffee. I took a deep breath, I could do this.
"A while before I got here, Imara met up with Talon. First we were treated like outcasts by his rouges. Which was fine by us Imara stayed in his camp in his bed. The guys didn't let me go far without one of them. The other rouges were always watching us. I decided to go fishing to get our dinner the river was not that far away so after me bugging him enough Roman let me go and get dinner. I had just caught five fish for dinner and headed up the bank when two rouges from the other camp blocked my path and attacked me. I was able to fight the off with Spirit help even though I had not shifted for the first time. Then they made us walk during the day and camp at night. I had my first shift. Then the next night Imara took me up to there camp, blindfold me and tied my hands. The next morning, she gave me to the Rouge King he made her take off my blindfold. Spirit had made my eyes blue. The Rouge King got mad at them and left. I went back with Roman and the guys we hid in the brushes. The Rouge King sent me. And when we took off they were killing them all. That is the short of it." I said taking some food and eating.
"So now he shows up here, to collect you realizing you were a fire sky child after all." Titan said out loud.
"Are you going to sacrifice mt to save your pack, Titan." I asked.
"Raven, why would you think that I have waited so long for you. I will find away to stop him and free your friends." He said.
"What did you just say?" I questioned him.
"Stay calm Raven, he has Roman and the other two in his dungeon." Lance said.
"No! I screamed; I must go and save them." I said as I stood up. Titan grabbed my hand, "You will go no where near him. You can not see. How can you save them?" Titan said sternly. I sat down I had to find away. I never told them about my abilities. I got up and went and sat on the bed for the first time since I had arrived here I started to braid my hair and sing. Not paying any attention to Titan and Lance.
TITAN'S POV
I could not believe what I had just heard. Raven said it like it had no effect on her. How had she fought off two full grown men. I could tell she had left out a lot of details.
"Titan, what she is doing?" Lance asked.
"Braiding her hair. I need to link my Mother she will know." I told him.
"What language is that?" He asked
"I don't know, but Mother should." I said. And linked Mother.
"Mother, are you in bed?" I asked in our link.
"No, just reading son. Do you need me?" She asked.
"Yes, Raven is on the bed singing something,"
"I will be right there do not disturb her, it is natural." She said and closed the link. She did not knock when she entered. But came in quietly. She stood beside me and listened to Raven sing.
"You had a talk about the Rouge King?" She asked.
"Yes, she told us part of what happened out there, though she left out a great deal of details. She wasn’t to run and rescue her friend. But I stopped her. Then she went to the bed and has been doing this." I told her.
"She is braiding war, on the Rouge King. " mother said.
"What language is that she is singing?" I asked.
"The language of our people's accents ancestors. The first Sky Fire Children."
"Is this how you got your braids." Yes son. Each braid means something different. Did she tell you anything else about herself?" Mother asked. I looked over at my beautiful mate what more was there that Mother knew and I didn't.
"Are you both the same?" I asked her.
"Yes, my son. There are thing about me that you do not know, but you will learn through Raven. As soon as we find out if her site is coming back or not the witch and I will have to train her." She said the last part softly like she was thinking aloud.
"Mother?" I questioned.
"All in time my son. As soon as this Rouge King is dealt with we have to have your mating Ceremony. Then the Luna transfer when she is ready."
"I do not think she will be ready to be Luna right away." I told her.
"She must have the title as your mate; I will continue the workload until she feels ready to take it on.
