Chapter 35 CHAPTER 35
"Do you not have a lot of work to do?" I asked.
"Yes so a walk outside with you will be a welcoming break twice a day." Titan said.
"The car is waiting downstairs; Titan be a good boy and grab her bags please." Luna asked him. I chuckled. She wrapped my arm around hers and helped me walk, I was very afraid of bumping into things, but Luna guided me perfect. I was glad it was Luna and not Titan, for some reason when he kissed my forehead this morning my stomach got butterflies. Not sick I was pretty sure it is nerves. When we got to the pack house I could feel a lot of people watching me. Titan helped me out and put my arm around his. Luna said she would see me in a couple of hours.
"Ready?" Titan asked.
"No!" I said.
"What is wrong?" He asked.
"Why is everyone watching me?" I asked.
"They are just curious about you don't let it bother you." he said. Then I heard men running over to us. I froze and gripped his arm tight.
"Valen grab her bags. Kale, Deisel you both get the doors. Theo make sure there is nothing Jane can step on." Titan ordered his warriors.
"Good morning, Jane, if you like you can take my arm as well." Lance said. But Titan growled at him. Why had he done that.
"I will just walk beside you. Lance said.
"Is all this really necessary, Titan? What are people going to think?" I asked.
"I really don't care what they think. Right now, you can not see, I ant to make sure you get into the pack house and upstairs safely. " he said. Then took a step forward. I nervously walked beside him. I could hear people whispering. Titan seemed to be oblivious to their chatter. It took twenty minutes to get into the pack house and down a corridor.
"We have an elevator Jane, so you don't need to worry about the stairs." Titan told me.
When we got into the elevator I heard him put a card into something.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"To your room of course." Titan said. I tried to count the floors as we went up but the elevator was to quiet. We got off the elevator and all I could smell was the ocean and sandalwood mixed with a hint of cocoa. It was strange but it relaxed me. Sprite got up and was smelling around. She was dancing around very happy.
"What are you doing?" I asked her.
"Can't you smell that?" she asked.
"Yes, what about it?" I asked her.
"Oh my Raven, you have so much to learn." She told me then laid down smiling and content. Saying His wolf is nice Raven.
I did not realize I had stopped walking.
"Is something wrong?" Titan asked nervously.
"No, Spirit was acting strange, she is happy and dancing around. I think the smell is getting to her." I said.
"Smell, what smell?" Titan asked now worried.
"It smells like the ocean, sandalwood with a touch of coco." I told him. Lance started to laugh.
"I don't smell anything!" Titan said.
"Alpha, I will explain later. Jane do you like the smell?" Lance asked.
"Very much, it is calming and relaxing to me." I said.
We started walking again for about another ten feet. Then we went through a door was. You are in your room Jane. The scent was not as strong as it was in the hallway. But it was in the room too.
"Jane this is Carry. She has been assigned to help you with anything you need. She will help you get accustomed to your room so you can move about freely with out banging into things and getting hurt." Lance said.
"The woman reached out and touched my one hand gently.
"Nice to meet you Carry." I said.
"Nice to meet you as well ..." she paused.
"Jane." I told her. I could hear a woman running down the hall towards us. She ran into the room.
"Sorry, I'm later, Titan. I got the time mixed up." The woman said. She came over and took me from Titan.
"I'm so happy you're here, my name is Kendra, I'm Titan little sister. Well, I'm not so little twenty-two actually. Saturday dinners are going to be so much better now that you are here." Kendra said.
"Kendra, stop!" Titan yelled.
"What?" Kendra said.
"She has been in her room not even ten minutes. You will put her in overload." Titan said softly to her.
"I'm sorry. I'm just excited." Kendra said.
"Jane has been to hell and back she can't see right now. You need to take baby steps." Titan told her gently.
"I'm sorry Jane. Please forgive me?" Kendra asked.
"Nothing to be sorry for Kendra, I can see your excited to meet someone new. But Titan is right. I'm still on pretty much bed rest still. And I can't see anything yet so please bare with me." I said with a smile.
"I can help you with anything you want, you just name it." Kendra said.
"Can you give me back to Titan please. But stay here with me?" I asked. Titan came and put his arm around my waist. Bening down and whispered in my ear.
"Are you ok, Jane." He asked.
"Very overwhelmed right now. Can you please stay with me? I know you probably have a lot of work to do. But I want to run away right now. I have only known you and your Mother basically since I got here. My rouge instincts are telling me to run away as far as I can get. You being here settles me for some reason." I rambled. I was overloaded with nervous. Who else would run in here I thought.
"Yes I will stay as long as you need me to, ok?" He said. I nodded moving closer to him.
"Ok Lance and you bunch of tyrants go back to work, thank you for you help." Titan said. They all fussed but left.
"Come on let's get you into bed. Then I can give you the gift I got you." I could feel his smile I did not need to see it.
"Carry you finish organizing her new clothes, Kendra can you go through them and see what Mother bought that would not suit Jane." Titan asked as he sat me on the bed.
"Ummm, Kendra see if there are any pajamas in that stuff and please you and Carry help Jane into them while I get her present from my room. I will be right back Jane, will you be ok, he asked. I nodded. He quickly left the room. Kenda found a pair of pajamas and Carry helped me to the bathroom to do my business and get changed. We came out of the bathroom and Titan was already back and talking to Kendra.
