"Why are you apologizing, you did nothing wrong I'm glad I had come back in when I did. I was outside with Marcus talking." She said.
"Titan was into big of a hurry to go, he could have taken five minutes to get me clothes. How can I protect my pups and the pack when I can't even find my own clothes." I said feeling useless to everyone.
"Raven it is my fault, I should have taught you long ago where your clothed were and how they are organized. We will work on it starting today. I'm sorry. I feel like I have made you too dependent on me." Bre said upset.
"It is my fault too." I told her.
"So why are you both up at this time of the morning?" Bre asked.
"We have heard from Roman that they are going to head this way tomorrow. We have a lot to do I have to get everyone in lock down after breakfast, we have three packs coming with their armies. Titan will head out with his group by noon. You need to be here with the pups Spencer will be here with you." I told her.
"Where will you be," Bre asked.
"I have to make sure patrols are doubled and be ready to fight if they make it here. I told her. Just as I was talking Valen came into the apartment.
"You will be doing no such thing you will be here with the pups, if they make it this far I will take you and Bre and run with the pups.
I have been given my orders by Alpha Titan." Valen said.
"I can't protect the pack from up here," I told him.
"Yes you can, you mind link the orders from this room, you are not to engage in any battle," Valen said
"Do you think it will come to that?" Bre asked.
"No, Titan will wipe them out before they get close. Tala has been put in the dungeon by Deisel; he took great pleasure in locking her up and giving her enough wolfsbane so she can not link or shift. And she is in silver shackles and chains. She will pay for Ivy’s death and trying to kill you." Valen said. He was angry. Was it towards me or tala. A guard knocked on the door. Valen told us to stay where we were. He thanked the guard and Imara came and hugged me.
"I missed you so much, Raven she said and took my hand and put it on her belly.
"You're pregnant?" I asked.
"Two and a half months give or take." Imara said. I was shocked, I had not thought she could, but I guess I was wrong.
"Now you listen to Valen, Raven we are to stay in this apartment and protect the pups. Have faith that Titan and the other will surprise them and end it long before it gets here." Imara said.
"I hope so I'm not even getting any vision about it." I told her.
"Let me make us some coffee, and we can relax and catch up. Bre I hear congratulations is in order. I'm happy you found your mate," Imara said to Bre.
"Thank you, I worry about Marcus he is going with Titan this is his first mission he just graduated training. Bre told us.
"Why would Titan take someone so green? no offence Bre," Imara asked.
"Marcus volunteered, I don't even know if Alpha knows he is going," Bre explained.
"I will tell Titan that Marcus volunteered to go and leave it in Titan's hand to deal with." I said to them both. I linked Titan and explained what Marcus had done and let him deal with it. Imara brought us all coffee and sat down in a chair after handing me my mug.
"Did the Doctor not tell you that for the rest of your pregnancy you should not drink coffee?" I asked Imara.
"Yes, But I only have one cup a day the rest of the time it is herbal tea or water. I'm just stressed with Roman and the guys being gone." She told me.
"I can understand that I only found out about it last night. So, I'm also worried about them. They are dam good rouges, but they have never been trained as spies. I will just be happy when this is over with, and everyone is home safe." I said. There was a knock at the door, Valen came in with Kendra then he left.
I knew it was Kendra she has the most amazing sent of Lilly in the spring. She sat down in the chair beside Imara,
"They have gone to red alert, everyone is being locked down. Mother said Imara and I had to stay here in your apartment, Raven." Kendra said she sounded angry.
"What is upsetting you Kendra?" I asked.
"Mother said I'm not strong enough to go. I have fought many battles by mothers’ side." She said.
"Kendra they have three witches; they would take you down quickly. I'm not saying you are not powerful but even I have to stay here and you know the power I have. But Titan has forbidden me to leave this apartment. We need you here to protect the pups in case something goes horribly wrong." I tried to explain to her.
"I guess you're right, I just hope our mothers can take the three of them." Sae said.
"That worries me, growing up I never seen my mother use any abilities. But I know I got them from her. We just have to have faith in them." I said trying to convince them as well as myself.
ROMAN'S POV
I got word from Titan that they were heading our way to night. The pack was on lock down. Imara was under heavy guard with Raven and the pups. I walked over to Rowin and asked if he had coffee to spare.
"Sit my friend, We always have a cup for a fellow comrade," he said pouring me a cup of coffee and handing it to me. I looked at him and then the other four men sitting at the camp.
"They are with us, Roman what news do you have?" Rowin asked. I leaned back with my coffee taking a sip to see who could hear before I said anything.
"They leave in a few hours. Heading this way. They have about five hundred warriors plus a few spell casters. Anyone that is with Titan is to wear a white band on his or her left arm, so they know not to kill you. They are coming with vengeance to strike down and kill everyone. You must get Maggie to wear one
If they will kill her with out question." I told them.
"Why do you not tell Maggie?" Rowin asked.
"It is best I not be seen talking to her. Nash is already suspicious about us." I told him.
"I will tell her. You never did tell me where Imara is." He said.
"She is still at the pack as well. She is expecting our first pup." I told him.
