He handed me the paper with the prescriptions and left. I was in shock but happy. Raven just sat there her face blank of emotions.
"Raven?" I said trying to get her attention.
"Raven, it is wonderful news we are going to have a pup. We are going to be parents." I said she did not respond did not move.
"Michael?" I screamed in a link to him.
"I was just outside the door Alpha signing Ravens release papers, what is wrong?" He asked.
"Look at her, she is not responding to me at all." I said. He came over and touched her arm.
Raven? Are you ok?" Nothing.
"Mother?" I said in a link I need someone who can snap Raven out of whatever this is. Is Imara still there?"
"Yes, why?" Mother asked.
"Send her into Raven room I need her help." I said. Then closed the link.
"Alpha you wanted to se me?" Imara said coming in the room.
"I think she is in shock, she is not responding to me " i told her.
"What did the doctor tell her," she asked going to the other side of the bed taking her other hand.
"We are going to be parents." I told her.
"Alpha can you give me some time alone with her. She is actually terrified."
"Imara if you do anything........" she cut me off.
"Alpha I thought we were past that?" She asked.
"I'm sorry, I'm worried about her." I said.
"Go get those prescriptions filled and sign her out while I talk to her." Imara said.
"I'm sorry, to much has been going on. I will be back." I said and went out leaving Imara alone with Raven.
ALPHA JOMEL'S POV
"Clare get in here," I yelled.
"Yes Alpha," Clare said. Coming in and bowing her head. Why I agreed to take this woman is beyond me.
"Is everything ready for tonight?" I asked her.
"Yes, Alpha," everything is how you asked it to be." She told me.
"Good go downstairs to your room and do not come out until tomorrow. I don't want anyone seeing you." I told her.
"Yes, Alpha." She said and left.
I did not need anyone knowing this woman was in my pack. After everything I had heard was going on at the council If anyone found out I kept her as a servant I could get into trouble. Not just having her here then they would start snooping. That I could not afford. To much depended on me running these guns and drugs. I went to my room showered and dressed. I did not know why Hunter and Morris wanted to see me. I had nothing to do with them down south.
"Alpha, there is a limousine here, with two gentlemen. They say you're expecting them." The guard from the front gate linked me.
"Yes, yes. Iet them in." I said and closed the link. Then went downstairs to greet them.
The limousine pulled up and Hunter and Morris got out of the limousine.
"Gentlemen, welcome I said unenthusiastically.
"Jomel, good to see," you Hunter said extending his arm. I clasped arms quickly. Then extended my arm to Morris.
"If you will both follow me I have lunch ready." I told them.
"Lunch is not necessary, shall we go to your office and deal with our business." Hunter said.
"Of course, please follow me." I said leading them into the pack house and up to the second floor. Once in my office I closed the door.
"Can I offer you coffee?" I asked.
"No thank you. Jomel let's get right down to business here shall we." Hunter said.
"What can I do for you gentlemen?" I asked.
"You have a nice size pack here, looks like your doing well." Morris said.
"We are surviving." I said.
"Jomel, I know you have the woman, you will hand her over to us now." Hunter said.
"My pack has many women, who might you be talking about?" I asked. How did they find out she was here? I thought to myself.
"Don't play stupid, Jomel the woman from the Sky Fire pack. We want her." Hunter said.
"What is one woman to you?" I asked.
Hunter got up and slammed both his fists on my desk.
"The woman now Jomel," Hunter said.
"You know Hunter I bet this place will burn pretty fast " Morris said still looking out the window.
"Why are you threatening me, I stay out of your business." I said.
"This is the last time I will request for the woman, Jomel. I just have to make one call and this place will be swarming with special police. You have five minutes." Hunter threatened. I linked one of my guards and told them to go and get Clare and bring her to my office, quickly. Then closed the link.
"She is being brought up from her room in the basement." I told them.
"You kept her in the basement?" Hunter questioned angrily.
"That is where I keep all my slaves." I told him.
"Well lucky for her we came to get her, she better not show signs of abuse on her." Morris said starting to get angry. The door opened and the guard shoved Clare into the room. She looked around the room frightened.
"Is your name Clare mother of Leo and Raven?" Hunter asked her.
"Yes, do you know where my children are?" Clare asked almost in tears.
"We know where Raven is, we are still looking for Leo. We have come to take you from this place." Hunter told her.
"Jomel do you know where the boy is?" Morris asked.
"No, I was just asked to take the woman three years ago. I never saw a young man." I told them.
"Clare, do you know where your son is?" Hunter asked her.
"No He left the pack with his mate before I was sent away." Clare said.
"We will fine him. Thank you Jomel. We are leaving now that we have what we came for. Clare come with me dear woman. I think we will need to take you and get you some nicer clothes." Hunter said. They left as fast as they came. I knew Hunter was as crooked as I was, so what did he want with Clare. She was out of my hair now what did I care. I picked up my phone and called one of my contacts I still need to cover my ass on this.
HUNTER'S POV
Well that was easy enough, we had Raven's mother to use as bait we just had to find the brother.
"Where are you taking me?" Clare asked.
"You will be a guest at my pack for now. Don't worry you will be treated properly and with respect. I will give you a nice room to stay in until we get everything sorted out then you will be reunited with your daughter and hopefully your son." I told her. Clare started to cry. I put my arm around her to comfort her. I was not a complete asshole.
I dropped Morris off at his pack and got out to talk to him.
