Chapter 28 Until Maybe Silvia Wakes Up

Chapter 28 Until Maybe Silvia Wakes Up
“You can’t leave”

“Ofcourse can”

“You can’t”

Ana could see that he was dead serious, but why would he when she heard the right to?

Fernando flinked her luggages away making it smash on the wall across.

Ana widened her eyes “What are you doing!!! They are very expensive!!” She shouted at him and wanted to rush to pick he luggages but he held her back.

“Let go!!” Ana said in anger. All his actions so far has really angered her.

“I will buy you a brand new luggage, as many as you want”

“Really?”

He nodded

“Give me the money” she requested “It’s 5000 euro”

“Fine I will give you more money and also I will pay you for every day you spend in this house”

“What did you say? I didn’t hear you” Ana wanted to be sure she heard correctly.

“I understand the contract has ended and that you have the right to leave. But you can’t because my mother is still alive, how do you expect me to explain the situation that I got a fake wife to pretend like Silvia?. She will die at the thought of being deceived and you know that, especially since she is very fond of you. So now I’m proposing that I will pay you for every extra day you spend in this house at least until my mother last breath”

Ana nodded, she is tired of being here, but she can’t just leave Mrs Buenavista like that “Fine, how much will you pay everyday?”

“30k euro everyday”

Ana’s eyes widened, that was a lot of money. She will be making more money just by staying longer.

“Fine but on one condition”

“What condition?” Fernando stared at her intently. He was holding her hand and she was very close to him.

“I want you to stop sending people to watch my daily movement. I want to go to my family's house whenever I want and see anyone I want to see. Also, I want you to help me get my business registered quickly, you have the connection to get it done fast” Ana said to him.

Fernando hesitated “That is too much”

“Then forget about it” Ana wanted to free herself from his hold but he tightened his grip on her.

“Fine, I will do it,” Fernando reluctantly agreed.

Ana smiled in victory, she was so glad that she is no longer bound by that contract, she can do whatever she wants now.

“One more thing”

“What is it again?” Fernando said in frustration.

“You have to pay for the extra week I have spent as well”

Fernando was dumbfounded “And you said you were fond of my mother?”

“Yes I am but then this is business. But it’s fine if you do not want to” Ana freed his hold on her, she was getting uncomfortable.

“I will ask my assistant to send money for your luggage and your first payment tomorrow plus the extra week you have spent. For now, go put your things in the closet and come down for dinner” He said and left the room.

Ana did as he said, she was sad about her luggages that he broke but then she was glad he will give her the money for it and she will use it to buy a more expensive one.

After she was done putting her things away, that's not that much, she went down stairs to have dinner with Fernando and his mother.

She could not remember the last three of them sitting down to have dinner together.

Mrs Buenavista was so happy that both of them were here because she had good news.

“I have good news”

“What is that mother?”

Mrs Buenavista smiled "It's three months now and I’m still alive. I did not think that the doctors treatment will work. He said if I continue I might just live a bit longer to see my grandchildren” Mrs Buenavista smiled.

“I wanted to keep it away from both of you because I did not know if it will work”

Ana smiled “Wow, this is good news. I’m so happy” Ana stood up and hugged her “Thank God you will still be here with us”

This now explains why she did the treatment in the hospital instead of the doctor to come over. She did not want them to know or get anxious if it didn’t work. It was a treatment to help revive her neuro system instead of the normal therapy she usually had for retention.

Fernando sighed in relief. The past weeks were hell for him. He spent everyday scared that he will wake up and his mother will be dead. He is glad she has undergone treatment for her chronic illness. Although not completely guaranteed, it will still help her live a bit longer for at least two to three years.

But in all this he was unhappy that she kept it away from him. All this time he thought she was just having her usual therapy for retention and that helps manage her symptoms

“I’m happy to hear from his mother, I’m happy you will still be with me but you should have told me. I spent the last weeks scared that you will be gone anytime soon” Fernando said.

“I’m sorry son, yes I should have told you but I also wanted to be sure it will work. I did not believe the doctor but it’s been a week so he was right. I did not tell you so you do not get sad when it ends up failing”

Fernando understood what his mother was saying.

Ana was happy, but then what this means now is that she had to continue pretending until maybe Silvia wakes up.

And then what if his mother starts requesting for a child. Ana became anxious because how long will they have to lie?

Now, it’s either Silvia wakes up or they tell his mother the truth.
