“I’m taking her with me now,” he said as he walked towards Rhiannon he was afraid that the more she stayed with Rodrigues, the more she would get hurt and he wanted to protect her no matter any course.
They were all boys in the palace and wished they had a sister to spoil endlessly and give her jewelry that other kingdoms and companies gifted them. Now that his biggest wish has been fulfilled, he will take revenge on everyone who hurt her without caring whether the person had a good intention or not.
However, he could see that Rhiannon loved Octavius it was just that with everything that was happening, she had not known it was love and kept telling herself that she didn’t love him.
Separating her from Octavius will only do more harm to her and also, they wish to not repeat the same mistake that happened years ago. With all these in mind, he decided to first take Rhiannon to the palace far away from Octavius so that she could have time for herself and see whether she would know of her feelings.
At the same time, that period determines whether they will continue being together or not. He threw the divorce force agreement away as he didn’t to hurt her.
All eyes looked at him.
“Even though we won’t force you two to divorce, how you will treat her will determine whether you two will continue being married. Let both of you take some rest and time from each other and see whether you will figure out your feelings and know what you want to do in the future,” he said and the Rodrigues couple nodded their heads as they sighed in relief as they had been troubled by his previous orders.
Octavius looked at him with a surprised look on his face as he wondered whether the guy was still willing Rhiannon to be with him even after everything he had said and also after knowing that he didn’t love her.
Not only was Octavius but also Rhiannon but none of them opened their mouths to speak as Octavius was afraid that he might say something and ruin everything making the prince angry at him and forcing Rhiannon to divorce him while Rhiannon was just so tired and wanted to get ret.
“Nanny, I am tired,” she said as she leaned on Mary’s shoulder.
Mary whose eyes were still cold and some tears and fear were evident in her eyes calmed down and forced herself to look at Rhiannon with a smile on her face. She told herself that their young miss needed her now the most but inwardly took a vow to destroy the Clarks completely till they wouldn’t be able to walk out of their house and also, upon hearing her name and Rhiannon, only fear would be seen in their eyes while the only words that left their words were sorry.
“Come on,” the second prince said as he extended his hand to Rhiannon to hold so that they could leave the hotel.
Rhiannon looked at the hand that was extended to her and fell into thought as she wondered what she would expect the moment she left with the prince.
Also, she had noticed some suspicious people in the hall and wondered whether they would continue to pursue her even after knowing her true identity.
“Yes. We are also leaving,” Mr Sander said as he stood up.
“Where are you going?” Amanda asked as she was worried that the moment Rhiannon left, the huge drama would have already turned out people and they might go home. She wondered who she would attend to if all the guests eventually left.
“There is no need to ask a lot of questions on where we are going. Just know that we are. Anyways, I wish you a happy birthday, and on behalf of Rhiannon, I apologize for ruining your party,” Mrs. Sanders said as she handed a gift-wrapped well to Amanda.
The prince looked at what had happened and also remembered the gift that he was supposed to give.
He snapped his fingers and one of the servants who were behind him immediately left the hall and went outside.
After some minutes, he came back with a gift.
“Happy to you Mrs Rodrigues,” he said coldly as the gift was handed to Amanda.
“Thank you for taking care of Rhiannon all these while but her family will now take over and will take care and protect her from any harm,” he said as he understood what the family was afraid of.
Also, he heard Mary saying something about the fire, and with both Octavius and Rhiannon agreeing to it, he was more afraid that if Rhiannon stayed longer in that country, he would be in danger as he believed that she must be involved in the fire scandal. Although he didn’t have any evidence, his senses never failed him.
“Come on little sister, let’s go,” he said with a smile on his face as he thought how their brothers would be jealous of him and wished that their father had sent them over instead.
Although Rhiannon was already old and more than twenty-two, to him, she was still a kid and knew very well that that would be the case in the palace when she arrived.
“Wait for a minute,” Rhiannon said as she convinced herself that she was safe with him.
Also, he was her family and shared the same blood as her thus she didn’t believe that he wouldn’t care about it and would cause her demise.
The prince looked at his extended hand then at Rhiannon, he nodded his head as he withdrew it.
“Okay,” he said with a smile on his face as he convinced himself that as long his sister was the one humiliating him, he didn’t care about it.
“Get rid of…” she said and the guards who had initially left flooded once again into the hall making the people present tremble as they wondered what the hell Rhiannon was up to.
“The man with a blue and red tie, the woman with…” she went on saying the description of the people she wanted to be gotten rid of.
“Hahaha. How did you be able to distinguish us?” one of the women who was pointed at said as she looked at Rhiannon coldly and with a speechless look as she couldn’t believe although they had not done anything or talked, the latter was able to know who was a friend or foe.
