The Gamma's Mate
Her lips parted to respond, but he captured them in a kiss—slow, tender, a promise.
That kiss deepened. His hands moved to her waist, drawing her even closer as his mouth claimed hers with more hunger. She responded with equal heat, fingers tangling in his hair, heart racing.
He scooped her into his arms effortlessly, carrying her to the bedroom. The dim moonlight spilled through the curtains, casting shadows on the walls as he set her down on the bed like something sacred.
Lucian stood for a moment, just looking at her.
“You’re beautiful,” he said simply. “So damn beautiful, Selena.”
Then, he undressed her slowly—his fingers grazing every inch of newly revealed skin, not in a rush but in reverence. She trembled beneath his touch, her body alight with desire. Her dress fell in a soft whisper to the floor, and soon, he joined her bare.
They met in the middle of the bed, mouths crashing together again in urgent need. His body was warm and solid above her, their skin-to-skin contact sending shivers through them both. He kissed her neck, her collarbone, down her chest—taking his time, memorizing the taste of her.
Selena gasped his name, hands roaming over the muscle of his back, his shoulders, her nails digging lightly into his skin as he explored her with worshipful patience.
And when he finally entered her, it was like coming home.
Their bodies moved in rhythm—slow at first, almost reverent, as if neither of them wanted to rush what was being created between them. Her moans mixed with his groans, sweat slicking their skin as they moved in perfect sync, their connection raw and real.
Lucian’s forehead pressed against hers.
“I love you,” he whispered, breathless. “Selena, I—”
She kissed him hard, silencing his words with her own passion, her body responding to his in waves of heat and tenderness.
The tension built until they both broke—together. Their cries echoed through the room, filled with emotion too deep for words.
Afterward, they lay tangled in each other’s arms, their breathing slowing, hearts still racing.
Lucian kissed the crown of her head.
“One day,” he murmured, “I want to see you glowing… carrying my pup. Our future. Our legacy.”
Selena smiled sleepily against his chest.
“And I want nothing more than to be yours… in every way.”
Wrapped in warmth and love, they drifted into sleep.
Two hearts… finally at peace.

At the Late Gamma’s Estate – Now Theo’s Residence…
Newly appointed Gamma Theo returned home after the long day of training, feeling satisfied and lighthearted. But the moment he stepped into the estate, the sight before him drained all warmth from his face.
His ex-girlfriend.
Sitting confidently on his couch, dressed a little too perfectly, eyes full of fake innocence.
His expression darkened.
“Why are you here?” he asked coldly.
She stood, batting her lashes. “I came to see you. We never truly ended things, Theo…”
His jaw clenched. “You ended it the day you slept with Liam. Don’t play games with me.”
She pouted, stepping closer, pretending to cry, trying to use the past and his former love for her to tug at his heart.
“I made a mistake,” she whispered. “Don’t you miss what we had? We could still be together. You’re the Gamma now… I could be your Luna.”
Those last words made her desperation clear.
When Theo didn’t soften, her performance became more unhinged. And in a dramatic gesture, she picked up a knife from the table and slashed her palm, blood trickling down.
That got his attention.
Though angered and wary, Theo still had a heart. He cursed under his breath and immediately called for a healer. A few minutes later, instead of the main healer, Rina quietly stepped into the room.
She was holding a basket of herbs and gauze, her voice calm and polite as she bowed lightly.
“Gamma Theo, I was sent to assist.”
The moment she spoke, something shifted in the air.
Theo froze.
His eyes met hers—and his wolf stirred violently within him.
"Mate...!"
Rina’s breath caught, and her basket nearly slipped from her fingers. Her eyes widened, and the color drained from her face.
She felt it too.
The woman sitting beside Theo, with her bloody hand and fake tears, turned sharply toward Rina, sensing the change in the room.
But it was too late.
The bond had awakened.
Theo, stunned and conflicted, took a slow step toward Rina—his heart pounding with confusion, disbelief… and something raw.
“You…” he whispered.
“I didn’t know…” Rina breathed, stunned.
Their world shifted. And the past? It suddenly didn’t matter as much.
Because fate… had other plans.
