Amelia‘s pov
What was 1?. A fool? Stuck of a man who was easily switching his character. He was kind in a moment and cold in the next, I had no idea how to act around him anymore
He walked away from me without a glance behind and shut his door loudly.
“It was for the best to keep out distance.” I muttered to my wolf then slowly stood up ignoring the pain and her loud growl of protest.
“I was stupid to think Axel would still be around.” I whispered while I walked back to my room dragging my foot
I walked in and went straight to sit on the bed with a low sigh.
What exactly was ? A sadistic bitch? Who easily ignored the ill–treatment? Perhaps I was.
When the door opened I quickly stood up knowing very well it was Nana by her scent. She had an angry expression on her face and her Aura was powerful and thick, it was making it hard for me to stand still. My breath was getting loud and it was getting painful to breathe calmly.
“Who the hell do you think you are?” She asked.
I kept quiet and bit my lower lip refusing to answer.
“You were a nothing in your pack and no one wanted you there. My alpha showed you kindness and took you into our pack instead of killing you. Yet, as if that wasn‘t enough, he made you his personal slave and gave you a room way better than you could imagine, allowed you to use everything in there, and made sure our Beta knew you are under his protection. But that wasn‘t enough was it? You had to stir his affection and aim for his bed while knowing fully well he is already married and mated.” She said As I clenched my hands in fists and looked at her straight in the eyes.
“Ma‘am, I believe you are mistaken over a few things. The reason why I can‘t seem to reject the alpha is because...”
“Silence!” She yelled strongly.
I found myself shutting my mouth and lowering my gaze. My body was slightly trembling too.
My wolf was feeling twice as I was and that scared me even more. What the hell was she.
I couldn‘t pick up her actual scent besides that of a human, if she had a wolf then she had amazing control to hold it down even in her time of anger.
“Do you think I haven‘t been observing you young lady? I know your plan and see through it all. Our pack has no such things as mates, Ian is nothing but your master and Alpha, his mate is his Luna and that will forever be unchanged. You might think that you are pure when in truth you aren‘t, you are tainted by the filthy dicks you have sucked in your previous pack, and your body is pure disgust, touched by most men and groped in all possible ways. Your hole may have never been invaded by any man but that doesn‘t make you pure. You are disgustingly tainted. That‘s why I came here to ask you nicely to stay away from Ian, kill yourself if you must, even better leave, if you choose to stay you won‘t only face Sherry‘s wrath, you will face
mine as well.” She said then turned and walked to the door.
“Oh and one more thing. I dare you to tell lan about this. It would be nice to see who he will believe between me who has raised him all his life and a mere slave who claims to be his mate just like every stupid she wolf that approached him.” She said then chuckled softly and walked out of the room.
I weakly walked to the door and shut it.
I wasn‘t expecting to be loved by anyone in my life, so it came as no surprise that Nana despised me. She obviously saw me as a threat to the pack and her Alpha. And seeing how she handled the females of the pack or acted towards the alpha, I could tell that she meant a lot to him.
I moved my hand and wiped off the tears with a sniff. Her words were very hurtful, but her chosen choices were worse.
I didn‘t want to leave my mate behind but I also didn‘t want to fight a fight I was easily going to lose or die for.
“We will stay with our mate, he will protect us.” My wolf said upsetting me.
“When will you get it in your thick, damn skull that he is the same as them!. He doesn‘t want us no matter how we try to hold on!” I screamed on top of my voice.
“He will protect us.” She growled back furiously.
“No, enough is enough!. I have done a lot for you, how could you be so selfish and not want what‘s best for us! This isn‘t a game of who will win, they will make our life a living hell which might lead to our death!” I whispered softly then slowly dragged myself to the wardrobe.
“Our only way to live is to leave.” I said in a cracked voice as tears continued to fall.
I grabbed a black dress then knelt on the ground and opened the drawer at the lower end.
I snatched a pair of new undies and closed the drawer slowly before standing up and turning only to face Ian.
lan stood at the door looking at me with a painful expression on his face. I quickly wiped off my tears and slightly bowed to show my respect. His gaze went to my injured foot, he frowned then shifted it to my injured arm.
“Does it hurt?” He asked in concern.
I kept quiet looking at him. I didn‘t want to act stupid over his fake care and concern anymore.
“Does it hurt that much?” He asked again. I slowly shook my head and walked to the bed trying hard not to drag my leg.
“Are you lying to me or are you now dumb?” He asked mockingly.
I threw the dress and undies on the bed and turned to face him with blurry eyes filled with tears.
“I‘m tired of your fake concern Alpha, I‘m getting tired of it all. It‘s either you accept me as your mate or reject me.” I said seriously.
Chapter 23
There it was in the open, I was tired of acting like a coward. I wasn‘t going to run away with my tail between my legs anymore.
