Chapter 7: Chapter Seven - Shame
Sky’s POV
“Aren't you done? Haven't you had enough?”
“Not until I've had my fill with you.”
I could still hear his growl, echoing off the walls of my head as he took his time defiling me, over and over again.
He wouldn't stop regardless of how I begged, and each time he released himself in me, I would hate every second of it.
What was worst was how I ended up going through orgasms after orgasms, my body betraying me and making me hate myself even more.
At some point I couldn't tell where my body ended and the filth began.
I slouched in the same corner I'd been dragged from hours ago, my back pressed against the wall like it could hold me together.
The robe I was wearing before was gone. They hadn't bothered dressing me again after he was dome with me. My thighs were slick, stained with what he left behind, the warm, viscous reminder that it wasn't just a nightmare.
I had washed hours ago, when they'd bathed me before taking me to him. They scrubbed my skin raw with oils and cloth and I was clean.
Now I felt dirtier than ever.
Every blink of my eye played back pieces of what happened. My body, splayed like an offering. My wrists pinned helplessly above my head. My voice—silenced beneath his grunts and thrusts.
The slap, too degrading to even remember. The feeling of his breath in my ear was nightmare. The weight of him pressing down until I could no longer breathe.
And the worst part?
My body had responded to every act he did with me.
Not willingly, not even knowingly—but I remembered it. The heat. The way my hips bucked once, just once, out of instinct. The sounds that weren't screams but something far more traitorous.
It hadn't been desire. It had been nerves, friction, fear even, but it felt like betrayal all the same.
He made me cum. So many times.
I shuddered. The word itself felt poisonous in my mind. As if he had forced not just his body, but his will into mine and dragged out reactions I didn't give permission to feel.
He stole my no, and worse he made my body say yes without asking my soul.
The tears wouldn't come anymore. I'd cried already, when they brought me back. But the ache remained, deeper than anything tears could touch.
The other girls looked at me when I returned. Some with sympathy. Some with shame in their eyes, like they recognized the look I wore, the hollow one. Only a few turned their gazes away from the sight of me.
No one asked what happened. I was sure it was the same with everyone else but what about this feeling?
And now I sat here, raw, used, and silently trying to peel his hands off my skin in my mind. My body still pulsed in echoes of it, like it hadn't decided if it belonged to me or him yet.
I wanted to scrub my insides. Tear them out if I had to. But instead, I sat still, hugging my knees, letting the horror replay again and again in the dark.
Not because I wanted to.
But because I couldn't stop it.
Then suddenly, I heard a sound. A shout from the distance.
Footsteps followed before the loud scream that shook everyone.
"No! Don't touch me! Let me go!"
The voice shouted again as a blur of motion was shoved inside.
A girl stumbled in, half-naked, drenched in something that glistened like sweat and tears. She collapsed hard onto the floor, her knees scraping across the rough stone. Her chest rose and fell in wild, frantic gasps.
"No—no, please! Where am I?!" She yelled, eyes darting in every direction.
She scrambled on hands and knees, crawling to the gate covered by the dark. After what felt like minutes of her screaming and shaking it, she turned and started crawling toward the nearest girl and shaking her. "Please! What is this place?! Why is it dark—where are the doors?! Why are you all just sitting there?!"
The girl she touched jerked back and whimpered, curling into herself like a beaten dog.
"No—don't just sit there!" The new girl shouted, voice cracking. "Help me! Someone help me!"
She moved to another one, grabbed her by the wrist. "You—you have to know something! We can get out, right? Maybe through the window—there has to be something!"
And then she turned to me.
Her eyes met mine, wide, desperate, still believing this nightmare could be woken from.
She crawled toward me. "Please—please, tell me what's going on—"
"Enough!" A low, sharp voice sliced through the room.
The older lady who usually sat farthest in the corner turned now, her eyes tired but sharp. Her face was pale, lit only by the faint moonlight, but there was iron in her tone.
"Sit down," she said coldly. "Before they hear you."
The new girl shook her head. "No. No! I can't just sit here! I don't belong here—I was taken by mistake—"
"We were all taken by mistake," the woman said. Her voice didn't rise, didn't shake. "You scream, they come. You beg, they laugh. You resist… they make you regret it. So stop."
The new girl stared at her, mouth agape, breathing like she'd been running. "I'll escape. I'll find a way out of this."
"Then good luck," the woman replied, turning to face me.
I stared at her for a while am averted my gaze, my mind replaying my shame and disgrace over and over.
Then she crawled toward me, slower, until she was in front of me. "I'm sorry...."
She whispered and opened her arms, expecting me to hug her but I didn't. I was too scared, too ashamed to even look at her but then pulled me into her arms.
"I'm really sorry for what you went through and you're not alone."
I listened to her and slowly, my guard crumbled under her warm hug and tears flowed freely while I held on to her.
