Chapter 109

Without knocking on the door, I just simply opened the door and entered his room. As I entered, I pressed my lips together to see what he was doing. I watched them but he still didn’t notice that someone was watching.

“Ahhhh… it hurts” I looked at the woman who was moaning and saw the way her eyebrows twitching from pain. Of course she must be in pain because of the way he was grabbing her hair and fucking her from the behind. As she said that, he tightened the grip he had around hair and sped his actions.

“Ermic, when you’re finished come and meet me” I said looking at his face, then he turned his face and looked at me. Soon a smirk appeared on his face as he watched me for a while and looked at the woman whom he was fucking.

“Wanna join? She’s pretty good at it” my heart covered with disgust as he said that. I emotionlessly watched his face for a while and sighed before walking out of the room. Why do I have to join with that fucker? Eww, disgusting.

Walking out of his room, I walked into the study room and grabbed a file which was about rogues. Then I started to read the documents in it. While I was reading I couldn’t help but think about Asteria and Demir. I just wanted to see them as soon as possible. I don’t know who she was and how he was. I’m just so far away from them.

“Why did you want me?” forcing my thoughts back, I looked at Ermic who just entered the study room while buttoning his shirt. I watched his face for a while and frowned. What’s his attitude towards me? Aren’t I his king? I smirked looking at him and placed the document on the desk without looking away from him.

“Is this how you talk to your king huh?” I asked him with a chuckle. Then he came to me and grabbed a chair before sitting in front of me with a smile on his face. Even if he smiled, I knew that smile was just fucking dangerous. No one will ever know what’s behind that smile because only he knows what’s his next step.

“My apologies, my king. Didn’t mean any insult” he chuckled leaning against the chair. Then he watched me with his eyes and smirked before grabbing the document on the desk and moved his eyes through it. Then after a while he placed it on the desk again and shook his head with his lips pressed together.

“Again? You wanted to talk to me about rogues?” he asked me. Shaking my head, I grabbed the document and placed it inside of the file as I closed it and put aside. I wanted him for another thing and he would be the only one who will ever be able to do that.

“I want you to bring me vampire princess’s blood” hearing me, his eyes widened. Then he watched me with a shocked face before moving his eyes all over me as if he was scanning me. I sighed seeing him and raised my eyebrows as I waited for his answer.

“Vampire princess’s blood? Are you fucking asking me to kill her? What the hell Damen?” he asked me with his still shocked tone. Did I fucking ask him to kill her? What the fuck? Is killing the only way to get blood from someone? Why the hell is he so fucking stupid? I don’t understand.

“You don’t have to kill her, Ermic. What the hell? Just fucking bring her blood by cutting her hand or something like that. Just a simple cut will do” he rolled his eyes and covered his face with both palms as he shook his head. Then he again looked at me and waited for a while.

“Why do you need her blood? For what?” His question made my heart turn cold. I knew he would ask this question and as I expected here he is. I rubbed my forehead with annoyance and then spoke to him.

“For me! I need to drink” without feeling anything, I just simply told him the truth. I hope that her blood will do this. Her blood will cure this because she is a woman, and at the same time she got royal vampire blood. He watched me with horror and shook his head.

“What the hell? Don’t tell me that you got that demon?” he said with a strange smile on his lips. How the hell does he know about the demon? Watching him for a while, I sighed and nodded at him. Then he pressed his lips together and watched me with wide eyes. Getting up from the chair, he let out a deep and complicated sigh.

“Why do you want me to do that? No one trusts me with these kinds of things Damen and I just simply can bring normal blood to you. So why me?” he asked me. Looking at his both confused and suspicious eyes, I let out a deep sigh. He was right, why the hell am I telling him to do that for me knowing that he was a man that shouldn’t be trusted.

“You will bring it Ermic. I can swear about it and only you can do it.” he watched me for a while and his lips slowly curled upwards to a weird smile. Then shaking his head, he told me something that I never expected.

“Giving your mate to the demon will be the good solution Damen. Just like I did, you also have to do the same.” my heartbeat stopped for a moment hearing him, what the hell did he say? Just like he did? He killed his mate for the demon?

“You?” I asked him with wide eyes. I couldn’t believe my own ears and I just didn’t believe it. I don’t believe that he also had the same demon like me. With a chuckle, he sat on the chair again and looked at me.

“Yes! I gave her to my demon and see, I’m healthy now. You also have to do that Damen. But since you are madly in love with your Asteria, I’ll try my best to get it” he said with a smile on his face and then lowered his head as he clenched his jaws. So this is the reason for him to kill her? The girl that I saw with him.

“How did you manage to kill her Ermic?” I asked him. Then he raised his head and looked at me with a small smile on his lips. But the smile wasn’t there for so long as it disappeared with his face growing dark.

“She didn’t know I was taking her to kill. So she just came with me happily. I watched her for a while and kissed her that day, then soon unknowing I stabbed her with a silver dagger. I didn’t expect, I would do it like that. But the demon who was inside me made me do that.”

“So she died, Damen, opening her eyes and staring at me with tears in her eyes. Unforgettable” he sighed and said before getting up from the chair and walking towards the door of the study room. Seeing him, my heart tightened. Did he? Regret?

The look he had on his face explained how hurt it was and how hard it was for him. He could have found a way right? Instead of killing his own mate. I couldn’t believe that he chose the most hurtful way to cure him. Maybe to him, she was not so important but it was just completely different for me.

I need Asteria and I’m not letting anything happen to her. Every trouble will end soon and then I need to have a peaceful life with her and my son. I failed to give her a happy life which she always wanted and which she always fought with me for. So I have to give her that and I owe her my life.

“I will try to get it from her.” Ermic looked at me and said as I nodded at him with a smile. Then he waited for a while and sighed before walking out of the study room lowering his head as if he was thinking about something painful.
