Chapter 63: Promise me, Nala

"Nala, wake up, please," I heard Dr. Charles's voice.

My eyes open and there I saw I was back at home laying on my bed.

"You fainted," the doctor told me.

I begin to cry remembering my mom's body being thrown in the fire.

"It hurts, I know," Dr. Charles told me as he touches my hand.

I nodded repeatedly, crying.

"Come we need to get you clean up," the doctor told me.

He helps me up from my bed. I glance behind me and saw he had placed a thick red sheet on my bed preventing me from messing up my bedsheet. On the sheet he places down, I saw a shit spot. Dr. Charles helps me into the shower and turn on the shower allowing me to clean myself. He pulled the shower curtain and didn't leave as he did.

He informs me to leave the dirty clothes in the shower for him to take up. After I was through, he passes me a towel. I wrap my body drying myself. He helps me in the room and too helped me dress in putting on another large white nightwear over my head and turning around. I remove the towel from my body and pull it down my clothes. I then put on my underwear.

"I'm done," I told him.

He turns around and took up my towel he then went into my bathroom taking away my dirty clothes and exit my room. I went to my bed sadly, lying down on my back. Dr. Charles soon was in my room. He came and sat at my bedside.

I stare at him sadly.

"When you're ready to hold your mom ashes let me know, I have it in my room," he told me,

I nodded as I cry. He bends down to kiss my forehead and remain to sit on the side of my bed.

He sat there for hours with me. I watch him as he stares through my window sadly.

"Nala," he soon calls me.

"Yes," I answer him sadly.

"Promise me this," he said to me.

I didn't answer him, clueless about what he was talking about.

I stare at him sadly waiting for what he wanted me to. Soon he begins to tell me.

"Promise me you will never consider Alpha Anton as your mate," he told me. "He and his father had ruined your mom and dad life don't them him end it with you," he told me sadly.

My eyes became filled with rage, by them. I hated them both and wanted nothing but a miserable life for them both after what they did to me and my mom and dad.

"Promise me," Dr. Charles told me as his head turn to face me.

"Yes, I will," I answer him with great rage within my voice. "I want nothing to do with any of them," I told him.

He nodded and soon he carries his head back to my window.

"He was here today while you were unconscious, alpha Anton," Dr. Charles told me.

My teeth clench tightly within my mouth knowing he was here.

"I didn't allow him to see you though," the doctor told me. "But still, he is the alpha of his land, I won't be able to stop him from coming to see you, only you can by rejecting him when he does again."

I listen to what the doctor was saying to me while my blood boils infuriated.

"Doing so," he continues. "He will be place into severe pain, but it depends on how strong he is."

Hearing what the doctor said about me rejecting him will cause him to suffer. I inquire him how instantly. I wanted him to feel pain for all the pain he and his father had put me through. He deserves to suffer greatly.

"How?" I again asked the doctor eager to know.

I didn't know anything about rejection and that my mate will feel pain when I do. I didn't know much about being a werewolf all because of his father. He robs me of everything.

"Say I Nala Blacke, reject you, Alpha Anton Bates as my one true mate," the doctor told me.

My brain took in the 14 words he had told me and held onto it like it was my last nutrients. My face was made in anger as I did hoping that the pain too can kill him.

"Promise!" I said loudly to Dr. Charles.

Now knowing about rejecting a mate. The night I couldn't sleep. I think about Anton crying and twisting in pain by my rejection the entire night and too dying from it, the worst way. I couldn't wait for him to again visit me. I pleaded that he will tomorrow. I too thought about going to see him if he didn't and telling him the fourteen letters. I smile devilishly as I thought of him falling and dying in front of me the movement I did.

It was morning already; Dr. Charles came to check on me to see if I was fine and went to prepare breakfast. I didn't eat much. The day move so fast, soon it was afternoon and soon evening. Alpha Anon didn't come. I started to become very impatient. I was so obsessed with the thought of putting him in pain that I started to imagine him before me and I saying the 14 words, but he wasn't here. I begin to become scared that I was losing my mind. I didn't want that, the only person who should be the two evil alphas.

"Dr. Charles!" I call as I sat up within my bed.

Dr. Charles came into my room.

"What is wrong?" he inquires me.

"Please allow the alpha to see me," I told him as I stare at him with great anger in my eyes.

Dr. Charles didn't say a thing. He just nodded and exit my room. I nodded as he did and lay back down in my bed, waiting anxiously for the alpha to come. I waited until it felt like hours. The place had soon darkened. I begin to worry about Dr. Charles. I worry if my impatience had caused him any harm in sending him to the alpha's home.

I got up wanting to search for him. I didn't want to lose him too. As I did my door opened and there saw it was Dr. Charles. He had returned.

I sat back down and stare at him gravely, hoping he had brought the alpha here so I could reject him and put him in pain.

"He's downstairs," he told me.

"Let him come," I told him angrily.

He nodded.

"I'll be outside of your room whenever you need me," he told me as he went for the alpha.

I got up from my bed and went over to my window, turning my back to the wall facing the door. My face was made in great disgust as I did, ready to tell the alpha I didn't want him as he enters my room. My heart beats heavily within my chest, waiting for what will happen after I did. It beats even faster as I heard heavy footsteps coming towards my room. My door open and there I saw the piece of shit, who made my life a pain. All neatly attired up like his life was perfectly fine and he had no worries. He was attired in a shirt that was as blue as his eyes and black pant as dark as his neatly brushed hair and a black shoe.

"Nala," the bitch had the nerves to call me.

"Don't call my name in your fucking mouth," I told him off angrily.

"I'm sorry for hurting you," he says to me. Before he could tell me any more lies. I shut him up with the fourteen words I was sleepless and dying to tell him.

"I Nala Blacke, reject you, Alpha Anton Bates as my one true mate!" I shouted loudly to him that it echoes in the entire room.
