Chapter 66: Chapter Sixty Five : The Prophecy

Ophelia’s Pov

“The prophecy was made two three thousand years ago. That was a thousand years before Xavron was born. The high priestess made the prophecy which was given to us by the moon goddess. Xavron is an immortal. He won’t die . This is enough to cause chaos in the world. No one wants to have an immortal being in the world. After five hundred years of looking for a way to kil Xavron, another prophecy was made

‘he will be blessed with a mate and will love her but only his mate will be able to kill him ‘

“ That’s not true . That can’t be possible” I said . What sort of mess up situation is. This isn’t a prophecy this is a purnishment . Why is the moon goddess so cruel.

“ It is very much true . You are not just human Ophelia . I’m not sure of what you are but I’m certain that you are not human “ Zadion said . All what he is saying doesn’t make sense to me . How is it possible that I’m not human? I know I’m human. This man here is just crazy and confused.

“ Look you are confused about everything and I understand that. You can let me go and I will pretend that this never happened “ I said.

I have to try my luck to get out of this place. I can’t stay here for long. Xavron must be looking for me . I hope he hasn’t destroy the city .

“ Woman I’m not the confused one . Are you aware that you weren’t brought up by your real parents?”

This question really hits a nerve . It makes sense. I found out that the people who I thought were parents weren’t my real parents. The information came as a shock to me . At first I didn’t believe it but after some slight thinking I found out that it was all true .

My hair is golden in color but my mum had a brown hair . My dad had a black hair. My parents were but plump while I’m slender in shape. They all had black eyes which I am supposed to have black eyes but I don’t.

I was re hurt when I found out the truth. Everyone in my life keeps on telling me lies.

“ Yes I’m aware of that. What are you trying to insinuate ?” I asked him

Zadion smirked at me . I want to wipe that smirk away from his face . He is lucky I’m tied up to a chair . I would have slapped him with my two hands .

“ I’m starting to like you “ his smirked widened. Ewww I don’t want him to like me . It sounds so irritating hearing the word like from his mouth.

“And I hate you Zadion. I hate you soo much “

That brought out a reactor from him . The look on his face shows that he is not happy about what I said. Well I’m not happy about all that he has been saying also Ophelia one Zadion zero .

Ignoring my comment he asked me

“ Do you want to learn the truth about your past ? Do you want to know who you truly are? Do you want to know everything about your real parents?

I had to admit those are the three questions that has been ringing in my mind for the past few months.

I want to know who my real parents are. I don’t want to know the truth. I want to know if I’m truly human or not . I want to know if I’m truly the one destined to kill Xavron. Just the thoughts of Xavron death makes my heart break. No one wants to see their love ones dead. The worse part is that you are destined to kill the one person that you truly love the most in the whole world.

“Yes I would like to know . I want to know the truth about everything. Are you going to tell me ?”

Maybe he can tell me what the truth is. But I don’t think I can trust him. He is the evil rouge alpha for fuck sake. He is not someone you can trust. He is also responsible for the death of Xavron’s parents. He made my Xavron an orphan. Someone like him doesn’t deserve to live .

“ I can find out everything for you . I will even show you the truth in a memory lne”

“What is a memory lne ?” I asked

“A memory lne is a portal that takes us back in time. It is like a time machine but a better version of the time machine. The memory lne will give you access to be able to see the memories of someone from way back. When I find out who your real parents are . I will use the memory lne to take a look t their memory. With that you will be able to find out the truth about everything.

“ Zadion explained.

I am shock to discover that something like this exists in this world. This is a high tech invention. The memory lne sounds like a cool thing. It will really help me in finding out the truth about everything.

But I find it suspicious that Zadion wants to assist me . I’m sure he will ask for something in return.

“That will be really helpful. I can’t believe that something like this exist. “

“I will help you get the information you need but on one condition “ Zadion spoke carrying a serious express on his face . I hope his condition won’t be something that is impossible for me to handle.

“What’s the condition?” I asked trying to put up a brave voice . I tried to make my face emotionless something I learnt from my husband Xavron.

“ It is easy . I want you to kill Xavron. Killing him will be the ticket to finding out the truth about everything that was hidden from you . It will give you access to all the information you want about your past. It will uncover all the lies and secret hidden from you . All you have to do is kil Xavron. Now tell me what is your answer?”
